Mela’s Nails

Called Mela for a last minute appointment and she was booked but fit me in. The salon is very nice and clean. Mela was amazing best manicure and manicurist ever. My nail look bomb.

I walked out of Mela’s little shop a happy girl. It’s not often that you actually feel chilled out coming out of a nail shop. Usually they are more like beehives than spas. Not so with Mela’s little shop. There are only two stations and currently she is the only nail tech on duty — making it a quiet refuge from the hub-​bub of every day life.
Mela is friendly and professional. She did a very thorough job and the nails still look good a week later. Just shoot her a text and make an appointment — you will be glad you did.

I saw Mela for the first time last week after my sister recommended her to me. I used the groupon deal for a gel manicure and it was great! Mela is very professional and is great at what she does! My nails came out perfect, and the manicure was great! Definitely coming back in the future :)

I purchased two living social deals because the price was too good of a deal to pass up ($ 13 ea.) for a gel mani.
I have to say I absolutely love my nails. She noticed right away that I like my nails shaped square. And she did use care in trimming my cuticles as well as my nails.
Afterward my nails were done, she used a scrub & matching lotion that had my hands feeling so soft.
Mela is very friendly & welcoming. I definitely enjoyed getting my nails done here as opposed to the nail shops that I’m used to. I plan on coming here even after I have used my last living social voucher.

I found Mela through living social. I bought a voucher for a gel manicure. I arrived for my appointment and she was ready for me. She asked me to pick a color. (I would of liked the colors to be on nails so i could see how it looked on) The hand scrub smelled so good and felt real nice. She did a great job! My hands feel so soft and look great. She did my design free hand no sticker. I will definitely return to her.

I bought two gel manicure Living Social vouchers from Mela to feed my gel manicure addiction. I had never gone to her before so I was a bit weary to purchase two but they were such deals I couldn’t pass up. Fear not Mela was awesome. Mela was really friendly and easy going. She had a lot of colors to choose from. Even though she was quick she did a great job. She’s efficient! I think she used great products on my hands afterwards cuz they feel great. And my nails look so pretty. Definitely happy I purchased two and most likely going for more.

I have never had a manicure look so perfect for so long. I had to post a picture of it two weeks later because it is unbelievable! Great work mela!

Came in today to redeem my living social deal and I loved my nails! Mela was very professional and punctual. She had a wide selection of shellac colors. Only downside was that she didn’t have colors on fake nails to be able to see how it would look on my fingers. Living social deal was for $ 13 and she usually charges $ 28, well worth it for the great service and the finale hand scrub massage. I will return.

Situated in the back of Salon 57 sits the fab, fly and fierce Mela, nail guru extraordinaire and ever-​opulent dollface. I had the pleasure of getting a gel mani from her last night and was impressed by her commitment to my satisfaction.
At every step of the process (filing, shaping, buffing, polishing, massaging, etc.) she checked in with me to ensure I was happy: «Is that okay? Too much pressure? Do you like the shape? Too oval? Too square?» It was a far departure from the nail shop ladies I’m used to, who rough up my hands like this is a fight behind the gym after school and ignore the simple requests of paying customers with little regard. Mela demonstrates her care with every step of the experience and lets her clients know how valued and respected they are! Not to mention, she the conversation is good and the seats are damn comfy.
