Excellent service. They helped me within 5 minutes and took care of everything very quickly.

Good experience overall. I had to get all of my tires replace because they were threadbare. I didn’t realize that it made a difference until I drove on the new tires and saw how smooth it was.

Contacted them about getting an OEM tire for my Honda Civic. Was able to find the exact tire I specified in their other location and transport it to the San Leandro shop. Changed my tire out with no appointment necessary in less than 20 minutes. Very quick, easy, and stress free.

Took my 4runner in for an alignment because I recently installed a lift kit. Was in and out within an hour. Friendly staff and really competitive prices. I will be back if I ever need another alignment.

I experienced a flat on 880 late at night, so I had my car towed here. I parked it in their lot during closed hours. In the morning, I called and right away they knew my problem and right away, offered to find the best possible options. Very understanding. I was offered a few choices of new tires because they didn’t have any used in stock. They were pricey. So I suggested what if I brought my own tire, would they help me change it. The man was more than happy to! It cost me 15 bucks to change the tire and took less than 10 minutes. I walked out of there as a more than satisfied customer.
Highly recommend this place to anyone that needs tire repairs/​problems.

Very easy and was in and out within an hour. I called before coming in to see how much a patch for my tire would be and the lady that picked up sounded friendly and nice. She said it would be $ 25 and I could get it done the same day. They give you the option to either drop off the tire or wait at the shop. Within an hour, they finished and were super friendly about it and like the lady said during our phone call, it was $ 25. Basically, the service was quick, easy, and made me feel at ease as it was my first time coming to any type of auto shop by myself haha.

Just finished with a tire repair. I really appreciate businesses like this: old school, fairly priced, honest mom and pop style businesses. I experienced them as genuinely nice people that treated me well as soon as I walked in the door. My car requires me to go back to the dealer for most things due to the warranty but I will be back here again for my tire repairs.

Zero stars if i could. Called san leandro store about a wheelbarrow tire flat, and the guy tells me $ 6 for the tube and $ 4 for labor — $ 10 and you’re out the door. That seemed very reasonable… I even told my gf right after I got off the phone that it was $ 10. So I go there, get the work done, and the guy hands me a bill for $ 17.29. I told him I just spoke to someone on the phone and he told me $ 10, $ 6 for tube and $ 4 for labor. He said, no, it’s the amount on the bill. So, I said well maybe I spoke to a different person, and he says «you called about the 6″ wheelbarrow tire»…so I said «don’t you remember telling me it was $ 10?» He says «I never said that» (this was less than an hour previous). Basically, this guy is telling me I’m a liar. Well I knew where this was heading, so I just paid the bill and left… I don’t have time and patience for this type of treatment.
So Mr. Customer Service guy, just want you and everyone else out there to know the truth. If you had initially told me that is was going to be $ 17.29 on the phone (the truth), I still would have had you do the work. If you still want to debate this, I’d gladly have our phone conversation divulged to prove you LIED. Is lying worth losing a ton of business? Please don’t try to contact me, we’re done.

Doug and he crew are great. Bought tires for my Ford Escape there and it was a really good value and they provided great service. Just went back last week to repair a nail in my tire and they did a great job again.

ok, this is a little late, over the course of about 8 years, I have purchased three full sets of new Michelin tires for three different cars.
Michelin Hydroedge for a Toyota Corolla, driven 80k miles over 8 years.
Michelin Defender for another Toyota Corolla, driven 20k miles over 2 years.
Michelin Primacy MXV4 for a German car, driven 23k miles over 4 years.
For each purchase, I called a few days ahead to place an order, and then brought my car in on a saturday for new tires. There was only one time, I asked to be dropped off, but since the turn around was not that long, I usually read a book to pass the time.
Service was prompt, explained what was going in, what was involved in the cost, and what the warranty covered.
In the past I have gone to the warehouse/​low prices places in the past, but the amount if time spent did not seem worth it to me. I found the prices here competitive and this company was recommended this shop by someone that goes to the Oakland branch. I would highly recommend calling them.

My company has used this little shop around the corner for some of our fleet service. When my brake light came on three weeks after a tire rotation, I gave them a call. Turns out someone had managed to completely miss the fact that my brakes were down to 5% and my rotors seriously ageing!
Never mind the convenience of being walking distance from my job, the work came in below the estimate I was quoted. Very pleased.

Happy to give 5-​stars to George Oren for spectacular customer service and exellent quality work. I found G.O. after a terrible experience with the Kia dealership down the road. After bad advice, and the offer of a ridiculous price for 4-​tires and no warranty, I found George Oren. Within an hour, I had 4 new high quality tires, with a full warranty, free rotations every 5,000 miles, and the best customer service I have ever had at any car-​related institution. Treat yourself to the best experience you could have when you buy tires or get a replacement. They also have a location on 14^th and International in Oakland (very convenient if you take the Fruitvale BART or live in Alameda).

This is what America should be: small family-​owned businesses that do good work for a fair price. These folks actually give a damn about their customers and they have always been happy to order the uncommon custom tires that I use on my car — without gouging me like other businesses have in the past.
Their San Leandro location is conveniently accessible from the 880 freeway at Marina, as well as easily accessible from the major city streets of San Leandro.
Great location. Great business model. Great service. Can’t ask for more.

These guys were great. I had a problem with my left rear tire and i brought it in at 3 oclock on tuesday july 8 2014 andy helped me and and chris worked on my tire. Chris was awesome very friendly and helpful. Before i came here i went to wheel works down the street and they said i ethier needed to leave the car until the end of the day or make an appointment for the next morning. This place was extremely helpful. They replaced my tire sensor and vavle for a great price. Under 30 bucks. True honest good working men. I will definitely recommend this place and come back when i need to.

Andy is great and I love supporting local business owners. Prices are better than Costco and Andy looked at several different options for me. Service for all 4 tires took less than an hour.

These guys are too notch! Don’t have experience with tire buying here but I went to have a few wheel locks busted off my rims after another shop lost my wheel lock key. To make a long story short they dropped what they were doing to help me. Robert one of the tire and alignment techs actually found a key that matched my locks. Instead of taking the locks off and charging me he sold me the wheel lock key so I didn’t have to buy new locks. I need an alignment soon and these guys will be getting that business!

mostly dealt with the oaktown branch. came here on at least one occasion to have a truck get a wheel alignment.

i either took a nap, read a book or both.
afterwards both the truck and i were refreshed and invigored.

went to this place to have my rims installed. price was reasonable. they did pretty good job, andy was approachable and will work with you, 2days after my steering wheel was vibrating during high speeds on the freeway, went back to george and had them to re-​balance my wheels. problem was fixed at NO COST!
highly recommend going here!

when i picked up my new-​to-​me Volvo 3 years ago, they gave me a good price on a set of 4 Michelins. i shopped around; they were the cheapest, and had them in stock. win win.
well, years later now, i need new tires, front struts, and brake rotors and pads. i drive it pretty hard plus i now have over 111k miles on my XC90. i shopped my local independent shop, Volvo dealership and a recommended volvo independent in Berkeley. No one came close to the price of Oren.
My car drives like a dream again! these guys did a fantastic job, and were very friendly. He even honored the phone quote and didn’t charge me for the oil change they performed.
I’m thrilled, and have already recommended them to a colleague this morning. Andy and Martin are awesome! THANKS so much guys!
