Flores Optometry

Found this place on Unilocal.Staff was very friendly and Dr. Flores was very attentive and professional. She listened to my concerns and explained things clearly. I really like the reminder texts and emails for appointments. I would recommend this place to others.

I searched around for awhile and finally pick Flores Optometry after reading all the reviews on Unilocal.My first impression when step into the office for the very first time (today), the place was very nice, clean, and feel so comfortable while being here. Dr. Flores was so fabulous, patient, friendly, professional, attentive; she is awesome and takes time get to know her patients, she is concern and cares about her patients. Dr. Flores is extremely thorough and takes her time to explain each procedure and process for me to understand what’s test I was getting and what is mean for my eyes’ exam that other places lack. The doctor and the entire staffs making sure I get good care with extremely customer services and feel comfortable while being at Flores Optometry office. The doctor and staffs taking time and answer all the questions that I had and patient waiting for me for long period of time while help me to choose for the frames. Thank you Dr. Flores and the entire staffs for their time and also shows their enthusiasm for me when I had my eyes exam there. I highly recommend this place and I really hope that I had better insurance coverage so I can get my glasses to be done here.

I honestly picked this place because of the Unilocal reviews. My insurance had referred me elsewhere but I decided to go here. From the phone call you make inquiring an appointment to the moment you walk in the office you get the sense of comfort and the extreme customer service that other places lack. The entire staff, including doctor are extremely patient and friendly.

I’m new to the area, and spent a lot of time looking through Unilocal reviews to find a new optometrist; and I’m happy to say that once again the insight of my fellow Unilocalers did not lead me astray. Dr. Flores and her staff are absolutely wonderful! They were quick yet extremely thorough and explained each procedure and process. I’m especially impressed with her assistant who took the time to really go through my insurance with me to help find me the best deal, and perhaps just as important, the best style frames for my face. 5 enthusiastic stars!

I have come to Flores Optometry for three years now, and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is warm, friendly and accommodating yet always professional. I love this place! So nice and welcoming along with a great explanation of my health insurance and what I could or could not purchase. I have been with Dr. Flores for almost 2 years and I cannot recommend her enough. She’s warm and honest and recommends the best advice for healthy eyes. In my last appointment they let me know that with my new insurance I was allowed to buy colored contacts! They even let me try on various colors and purchase prescription color contacts! Couldn’t recommend them enough! And they are open on Saturdays!

My wife and I just had our first vision exam with Dr. Flores, love this place. Staffs and Dr. Flores are very freindly and professional. Definitely come back and recommend this place.

I’ve been going to the cheap chinatown places ever since I was a little kid. However, after going off of my father’s insurance I needed a new place that wasn’t shady. My sister recommended this place after coming here for years. Since I don’t have health insurance, she warned me that it will be on the pricey side, worth it in the end.
I came here about two years ago. Rosie was super nice and the opticians were just as friendly. I don’t have insurance so my Gucci glasses (with anti glare, high index) and my Juicy sunglasses (with anti-​glare, high index) came out to be over $ 1000. Many friends of mine have freaked out over the price and call me a money waster. Two years later, and my glasses and sunglasses are working in near perfect condition. When I went to chinatown, my glasses fell apart within a week to a year.
Bottom line: If you want stylish and reliable frames, come here! Plus, they are super helpful and friendly. Oh, and my students always comment on my glasses =)

Dr. Flores is excellent. She is patient, smart and passionate. She has great energy and all the employees are helpful and welcoming. Eye exams are nerve racking for me and I always find choosing frames overwhelming. They are patient and helpful. I highly recommend this place. I just wish I had better insurance coverage. I get a small discount for glasses.

Dr Flores is great (I’ve been to many optometrists in my day so trust me). She takes extra time to explain the whys and what’s and will answer any number of questions. Special mention on Lilly who’s on staff there, she’s super nice and knowledgable. Ask for Lilly if you want someone patient and helpful to help you pick out a frame that really suits you.

I have been seeing Dr. Flores for over 15 years and I absolutely love her! She is super sweet and laid back, I always feel comfortable when I go in for my exam. The front desk staff is really nice and helpful, too. They’re open Saturday’s which is awesome for me. I work at a dental office and whenever a patient asks for a recommendation on an optometrist, I always tell them about Dr. Flores and they’ve all loved her as well.

I Had an eye injury from work a few days ago in the evening time and got a prescription over the phone from an emergency service which made my eye even more swollen! So in the morning I called to set up an appointment with Flores Optometry around noon after deciding to go to an eye doctor and not the ER… and 1 hour later got there with a swollen red and sore eye and after a Quick check with Dr Flores I had begun to feel relief. She checked my eye and did a few cool tests, gave me eye drops during the exam and I already felt better I was very worried about my eye. The treatment worked great and my eye was like new the next day. Thank you very much Dr Flores! You’re awesome!!!

Today was my 2^nd visit to Dr. Flores. I was very fortunate to have «chosen» the RIGHT eye doctor on my first try! She is extremely knowledgeable and understanding and helpful. She made me feel comfortable and genuinely listened to my concerns. She detected a «sun spot» on one of my eyes and thoroughly explained it to me and put my fears at ease. Her staff is fabulous and very polite and professional! If you are looking for an eye doctor you won’t go wrong when choosing Dr. Flores! Not to mention she has a wonderful selection of trendy brand name frames to choose from!

Dr Flores is knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. The people at the front desk give great advice on selection of frames and stuff.

I had an appointment with Dr Flores last week. Her and her staff are very professional and customer focused. Thanks for getting my frames I got last year exchanged for me at no charge when they broke. I appreciate it.

Been coming here for years, and I will never go anywhere else. The staff is so inviting and helpful, and fun to talk too. Dr. Flores is the best she knows what she is doing as soon as you sit in her chair you know your in good hands. She found me contacts and that was very surprising because j was told by other doctors previously I won’t be able to wear them due to my astigmatism. Little did the know I’ve been wearing them for a year now and love it. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Flores is SUPERB! She is professional, attentive and truly cares about her patients. They have a great selection of frames to choose from that accommodates all budgets. The staff is friendly, the place is super clean and I’m happy to have found her office!

Update! Flores came through with some replacement lenses for my Raybans!
I dont know how they did it, but they did. I’m a happy camper.

This place is definitely a gem! The staff is extremely professional, courteous and friendly and dr Flores is just simply amazing. This was my first time at this office and I was greeted right away with a friendly smile. I did not have to wait long at all to be bought back to exam room which is a plus! Dr Flores was very detailed and made sure to explain everything in terms that I can understand. I left the office feeling valued as a patient and content with all the answers to my questions. Highly recommend this office to all!
