Epiphany Lutheran Church Elca

Member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. This is the more liberal wing of any Lutheran organization. Church is at 10:00 AM. You may be greeted in the parking lot like I was. The music ranges from traditional hymns to rocking Christian music with the band. A very progressive church concerned about social justice. They support FESCO, Davis Street, San Lorenzo Family Help Center, Night Ministry in SF, Mt Cross in Santa Cruz, Heifer Project, and Lutheran World Relief. There is a community garden. Bible study occurs during the week in the daytime. There is a quilting and craft group. They feed the homeless on the last Sunday of the month at 5pm. Small Sunday School at 9:15pm. They house Boy and Girl Scout groups as well as NA. The local RAFTA group meets there. Deer Creek Funeral home uses their facility for funerals. Current Interim Pastor Sandra Daeger is preaching.
