The Deaf Community Center is an event venue available for rental. We have main room (80 – 125 people), meeting room (8 people), a backyard, and a number of amenities to ensure that your event, fundraiser, or party is a success!

Meet the Manager

Angelina O.

Manager

Angelina O’ Willow comes to DCARA with a rich and varied background. Descended from Native American and Mexican ancestry, she was educated in Deaf schools and has been involved with the Deaf community since her childhood. She also works at Starbucks as a partner of their workforce.

Prior to this, she had worked as an advocate, teaching assistant, resident counselor, client support service specialist, and other forms of community relations. Angelina attended numerous colleges where she learned many of the tools instrumental in her work ethics. She is married to a beautiful and spiritual woman with whom she shares with a host of animals, including a beloved horse.

A firm believer of community togetherness, like a village, all-​working towards a common goal, to preserve and empower our people. A motto that she strives to live by is that of the Starbuck’s CEO: «We succeed by creating an experience that comes to life, in large part, because of how we treat our people, how we treat our farm
