Creative Dimensions In Dentistry

I have been a patient of Dr. Chinna for years, but I thought I’d update my review right now since I just had my teeth cleaned. Chris was my dental hygienist today, and she was amazing. I can’t rave enough about how thorough and pleasant she was. I was past due for a cleaning and am currently in braces, so it’s been challenging to get every nook and cranny of my teeth with dental picks, floss, and a tooth brush. I just looked in the mirror and my teeth are flawless! There isn’t an iota of plaque to be seen, and the whole experience was painless. My hat’s off to Chris.

Dr Alvaro is the best dentist I have ever had and this is coming from someone who’s had a few root canals and touch of dental phobia prior to coming to this office. I used to go here a few years ago but had to stop when my work switched dental insurance providers and I moved out to concord. I recently got my own insurance and started coming back here after being gone for 4 years. Everyone is really friendly and great at their jobs. I had a bit of a dental phobia and started going here because they offer sedation dentistry in case I needed another root canal or something. Dr Alvaro is very attentive and efficient, I had the quickest fillings of my life today! So friendly and definitely worth the drive to San Leandro.

I love this place! I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Maass for over 35 years. His skills go beyond mere dentistry into true artistry. Yeah he’s that great. He is an expert at creating Hollywood smiles. I seriously dread the day when he decides to retire from his practice. In addition to being a fantastic dentist he is a warm and caring human being.
After being under the care of Dr. Maass and the orthodonics dept for all of these years, my teeth look just as good in my 50’s as they did when I was in my 20s. Thanks to Dr. Maass’ excellent dental skills, I still have my youthful smile.
If you are looking for a dental office where you can feel comfortable and well taken care of with highly skilled, warm and caring staff, look no further than CDD. This office and Dr. Maass are awesome!

I have had terrible experiences with the few dentists I have seen in the past, so bad that I stopped going for years and was petrified to go back.
I can not express how wonderful CDD has been. I thought all dentists were the same, I was so wrong.
Knowing my fears, they were amazing in making me feel comfortable. Everyone in the San Leandro office is wonderful and I never thought I would actually look forward to going back to the Dentist.
If you have a real fear of going to the dentist, please give them a try. You will not regret it.

As with most folks, I don’t generally enjoy going to the dentist… But my appointment with Dr. Erickson this morning was very easy. He replaced 3 old fillings that were falling apart and in need of replacement. During the procedure, I felt no pain, not during the drilling, nor the shot of anesthesia, never. The office staff was friendly and the office clean. Finally, Dr. Erickson was very cordial and had an excellent chair side presence.
Dr. Erickson’s gentle touch and excellent chair side presence were great. I would definitely recommend him and CDD to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I want to let people that Dr. Alvaro did the right thing by calling me and discussing what took place with the cleaning charge for my wisdom tooth. Dr. Alvaro and Goret (hygienist) are very qualified professionals. I was so upset over this charge because it was for such a minimal amount of time spent in the chair. I guess the best way to handle this situation is to tell patients up front what the costs are going to be for such a service. I also thought the deep cleaning can only be done by a dentist so there was some confusion on my part. I just remembered having a very deep cleaning by one of the dentist in that office that really got into my wisdom tooth area and I felt it was not of the same intensity as what was being done by the hygenist.
My being upset does not reflect on the professionalism of Dr. Alvaro and her hygienist; they are both top notched people and I would recommend both of them highly. It’s unfortunate that this escalated but Dr. Alvaro made it right and showed that she is truly a professional and does care about her patients. I would recommend this office highly. I guess when you are not feeling well you have a tendency to lose your patience with certain situations. I will be taking down my prior post and again this office is excellent with very high standards.

I am a white-​knuckle dental patient so I need to love my dentist. I will pay out of pocket for that special someone. When I left New York, I left an amazing dentist. Luckily, I found an East Bay gem with Dr. Jeff Erickson and staff at Creative Dimension in Dentistry.
First off, their offices are clean and warm (I go to the San Leandro one because it is closer), not stale and clinical like most offices. The equipment and technology they use is top-​of-​the-​line (hello, crown in one visit). That inspires confidence in me that the practitioners using said equipment have up-​to-​the-​minute skills.
Secondly, the staff is more than just friendly and professional – they treat you like a person. I admit, I had to work to remember all of their names, but everyone I encounter knows mine without looking at my chart. I’ve consistently had great experiences with the whole team: receptionist, hygienist, assistants, x-​ray tech – everyone. When I was pregnant, the receptionist called my insurance to make sure I could fit in a visit before I was too big to fit in the chair. The assistants ask to see pictures of my son. And the x-​ray tech talks me through the amount of radiation I am exposed to, and make sure every inch of my torso is protected (yes, I’ve asked her to review all that info more than once). She’s even told me she’d forgive me if I accidentally bit her finger. Every person who has his/​her mitts in my mouth has a gentle touch, especially the hygienist, who is extremely thorough and offers educational tid bits along the way. The staff is super accommodating and work with me to allay my anxiety.
And then there is the dentist. Dr. Jeff is easy to talk to, charming and funny, a genuinely good guy. He is a professional who is 100% committed to my dental health. His demeanor and quality of care is what really puts me at ease. My whole family sees Dr. Jeff (husband, siblings, parents, niece and nephew) and as weird as it sounds, I can’t wait for my son’s first dental visit with Dr. Jeff.

After 45 years, I finally found a dentist office I absolutely love. and this is coming from a serious dentist phobic. People oat the front counter are kind and helpful. Doctor Alvaro and Doctor Chhina are hands down the best Docs I have ever had pleasure to take care of my teeth and calm my serious dentist phobia. Thank you from the front office, to the extremely attentive assists to the kind, knowledgeably and very friendly dentists. I am so lucky to have found them by pure accident through Unilocal users offering their personal experiences at creative dimension dentistry. Now my wife and three kids are experimenting the same great services they have to offer.

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. I hate going to the dentist but they make the experience much more pleasant. Starting with Robin at the front desk who keeps you and everything organized. My hygeniest Gorett is fantastic! She is professional, caring, thorough and has helped me improve my gums with her care that we both got stickers today! Dr. Alvaro has make all of my procedures pain free and everyone works together to make the experince a good one. Recommend them to anyone needing dental care.

Our whole family loves Dr Alvaro and the rest of the staff at Creative Dimensions. My son is only 4 and we thought he would be scared, but Dr Alvaro did a great job. They even have a treasure chest of toys to play with while they are waiting. Thanks again Dr Alvaro!

I feel very comfortable at CDD. I come here and I also bring my children.
First, Robin at the front always greets with a smile and ask how the whole family is doing. It is fairly easy to get a last minute appointment.
Next, Georgette is amazing! I like how she really gets in there and makes my teeth feel so fresh and clean. Also, she is very good with my kids, 5 & 2. She makes «glove balloons» for them and let’s my daughter use the sucker when she’s getting a teeth cleaning. My kids really like getting a new toothbrush at the end and also being able to pick out a toy out of the toy chest.
Last, Dr. Alvaro is the best. Even if I don’t have an appointment to see her, she always pops in to say hi and asks how the family is. She is quick and thorough.
Overall, I really enjoy coming to CDD.

Truly, from the moment I called to the last interaction, this dental office was impressive! Let me share.
The receptionist is a office rock star. She is attentive, friendly, she is ON it and awake. As a corporate professional, she is the glue that keeps that office together.
The hygienist was friendly, thorough and did a great job.
But when it came to x-​ray tech, I was hands-​down amazed! She used a thyroid shield!!! I didn’t even have to ask! Folks, you NEED to make sure your health care providers are using that. Radiation to the thyroid is a killer for things like constipation, depression, etc.
Once I met Dr. Erickson, he kinda reminded me of the pretty boy Ivy League guy, so I thought he was going to go into a whole explanation why I need this REALLY expensive and invasive techniques because school taught that theory. Surprised, he laid out many options and heard me say that I’m not a fan of invasive procedures and we proceeded accordingly.
Also impressive, their own porcelain (no metal folks) crowns made on premises. I’m working on removing the metal from my mouth (as should everyone I think), so I’ll be coming back as budget allows.
My husband was so impressed, he switched dentists immediately, as my son. I really like when small businesses make customer service their business, and this office clearly distinguishes themselves from all the others in town.

This place is awesome. I got a deep cleaning yesterday and it was the first time in years my mouth has felt this clean. They also work with you on the price so that it is affordable. The staff is absolutely amazing as well. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist’s office before.

Dr. Alvaro at Creative Dimensions in Dentistry is the absolute best! If everyone had such a gentle and competent dentist, there would be a lot less people with dental-​phobia. She’s extremely friendly and always makes me feel at ease. I was terrified when I found out that I needed a root canal (just the phrase gives me goosebumps), but Dr. Alvaro took care of it and I had almost zero pain after wards. In addition to the root canal and general upkeep, she’s swapped out all of my old silver fillings, greatly improving the overall appearance of my mouth.
Creative Dimensions is a great dental office with friendly receptionists, and great hygienists and assistants. I always recommend Dr. Alvaro and Creative Dimensions anytime someone needs a dentist because its a slam dunk that they too will be happy with the service.

I haven’t been to a lot of dentist in my lifetime but I’ve been to a couple. And the one I’ve visited have been good but none of them outshine Creative Dimensions.
I’m a firm believer that some things start from the top; Dr. Chinna is a very good leader when it comes to attitude, friendliness, his work, and making clients feel comfortable. It’s obvious that his staff takes after him and follows his lead because EVERYONE in there is friendly, professional, and outgoing.
As for my teeth, they’ve always done an excellent job (I don’t know why I’m just getting around to Unilocaling them).
Anyone frustrated with their dentist needs to give Creative Dimensions a try. They do excellent work! :))))

OK dig your teeth into this: I have never felt more comfortable about my dental health. They educate you about your teeth. I have been told lies in the past and charged hundreds of dollars for unnecessary services by other dentist and that bites. I feel comfortable here.
Good service should not be like pulling teeth. The staff is really nice and helpful. I NEVER have to wait long or gnaw in agony from impatience. They get me in and out, rinse and spit.
When your gums are itching cause its time for your appointment, you get a phone call, a mailer AND a self addressed mailer [you will fill out on your previous visit] reminding you of your appointment. That way… if you miss your appointment, then you have halitosis and your a loser!

Dr. Alvaro has been my dentist for over 10 years. She is a great dentist and I would recommend her to my family and friends… so I would recommend her to you too.
She is professional and very friendly. Her office seems to have all of the newest types of dental equipment.
If you are looking for a new dentist, then you should make an appointment to meet with Dr. Alvaro. I think you will like her.
