Big park with a nice playground and many picnic tables. I’ve been walking my dog here a few times a week for the last few months and have to say that it is always clean and well maintained. Check it out, my dog likes it.

It took me months to stop being so selfish. I seriously want this park all to myself lol. A stumble upon this park by accident after many many attempts on finding a park for a last min bday party. What a gem!!! There’s many tables that can be reserve of you call them. The park is so clean and perfect. There’s a half court basketball hoop, tennis courts, 2 playgrounds one for toddlers. I love this park!!! I think there’s not many review because everyone wants to keep this a secret lol sorry had to finally share guys! Parking lot is a little small though.

I enjoy taking my kids here on weekdays morning because it’s quiet. I don’t have to worry about my kids getting run over by the bigger kids. Of course, it’s also lonely if you’re looking for other kids to play with.
Two play structures for different age groups.
It does get crazy busy here on weekend, especially when people are playing soccer.
Parking lot is small and hard to find a space on weekends.
Only one bathroom stall. :(

I was on duty at my secondary gig and I pulled into Cherry Grove Park with my partner. Cherry Grove park is a nice city park in San Leandro it has a Regulation Soccer Field two Kiddie Play Structures and Reservable Picnic areas with stationary BBQ. I was doing a little work in the park when my Partner and I were invited by a Picnicking Soccer team to join them for lunch. I felt like Anthony Bourdain from No Reservations. They had a Taco Station Setup with a four foot Propane Flat Grill. They must have had 30 pounds of Al Pastor on the grill. The Host handed me 2 fully loaded Al Pastor Cassidias and I was presented with 4 Al Pastor Tacos fresh off the grill. There is nothing more better than fresh Mexican food off the Grill. I thanked the team for their Hospitality and went on my way.
