Is it weird to review a gas station? If you live in the San Leandro area, you have come to know there about 376 gas stations that offer the cheapest price on gas in the area(even if it’s the credit price). This location is the most convenient for myself and I always compare the prices to the Chevron across the street(including my Safeway gas discount) and for the most part, 76 still is a better deal even after the discount. Gas is cheap which brings a lot of people. I hate to say, but a lot of them are assholes that don’t have common curtsey to move up their car, or leave enough room for people to leave. Also, people LOVE to get super close to your car and not move out the way so you can leave for them to pump gas. Be careful when backing up or turning into the wrong driveway because the direction of how cars go here is free for all. The clerks inside are always friendly and it’s pretty well stocked in terms of snacks and drinks. None of the pumps are ever broken when I come to this location which really speeds up the gasing process. I want to say that there’s about 8 pumps if not more. They have a point card rewards here if you want to sign up. It’s free and gives you points towards rewards and gas. If you need a quick exit and everybody is blocking everything, if you notice right behind the building of the 76 station, there’s a back way out onto Fargo street in case you’re just trying to get out of there.

Surprisingly, competitive prices considered this station is right off the I-238/880. It’s not visible from the freeway though. No cash/credit pricing scheme. Single price for all methods of payment which I love. Rack them reward points up!

Its always cheaper than the chevron across the street. Sometimes lower by 10 cents which is a big difference. Definitely should pump here for cheaper gas.

I have been coming to this gas station for more than 2 years now since I have moved to San Leandro. It’s just around the corner and I can fill up my tank before I get on the freeway. Having a V6 vehicle and the sky soaring gas price, I spend around $ 2000 a year plus my other family cars! I usually do a quick in and out gas purchase at the pump and I hardly have to deal with the attendants, but they are usually very friendly and polite! My mom and I went to this gas station today as usual after eating dinner outside! At first I pulled up at a pump, inserted the credit card and the gas price on the screen started flashing and no gas came out from the pump. I pressed the cancel button and tried another pump and it’s also not working! Several other customers have also been here for a while now for the same problem and new cars coming in also can not get gas. Multiple pumps are displaying«out of service»! I went to ask the attendant Singh and he said it wil be back in 5 minutes! I waited patiently for the pump to work. The pump I used next isdoing just fine, but they were not able to authorize the transaction for my mom’s credit card. I went into speak to attendant Singh and asked kindly to put 30 dollars on pump 7, and the first and only thing he said, with a lot of attitude is «You guys used the same credit cards on too many pumps, that is why it’s not working!» He sounded like it caused him a lot of trouble to make a credit card purchase inside for the gas, not even an apology for the wait and inconvience to the customer. Hello??? If the first pump would have worked, we did not have to tried more than one pump!!! Fine! Purchased 30 dollars for #89 gas and went back to the pump to fill up and still no gas come out! I had to go back to speak to attendant Singh again! This time with even more attitude, he unwilling came out of his booth and fixed the problem, «see? see? you just have to press this button!» Where is this guy’s manner? Don’t even expect customer service! The customer has many choices of gas station including Valero just across the street from this one! On top of that, if this guy doesn’t like to be an gas station attendant trouble shooting problem with the pump and dealling with customers, there are many other people would like a job and can do better than that!

The best thing about this place is Location Location Location. It is located just off teh 238⁄880 Washington Ave exit. After you Gas up you can always go across the street and go Grocery Shopping or eat at Micky D’s if you like McDoodles. Other than that there are much better options to eat. The service is normally fair and easy going. Prices are competetive due to being surrounded by 3 other stations within 1 mile.

Actually it should be ZERO stars. Paid $ 50 cash for gas inside, went to pump, pump didn’t reset, went back inside, informed cashier pump never reset, cashier saw $ 45 transaction on pump, insisted that I had pumped $ 45 gas already, gave me $ 5 for change. I kept on telling cashier that the pump was never reset, that $ 45 was from a prior customer, the receipt was still hanging at the pump from previous customers debit card transaction, took them outside & showed them the receipt & gas gauge on my car, manager & cashier refused to accept the facts. Refuse to give me the $ 45 worth of gas or a refund. I had to call San Leandro PD, since it was a non emergency, had to wait an hour for assistance. San Leandro PD arrived and resolved the situation after a lengthy conversation with the stupid cashier, 2 hrs later, I finally fill up my vehicle with the $ 45 worth of gas I paid for. Avoid this station, there’s plenty of other stations near by.

I come here cause its down the street. The stalls are all closed together and this location is extremely busy. When you exit there is always heavy traffic on both sides.

This is now my most frequented 76 gas station. I rarely have to wait for a pump. The attendants are friendly but I really don’t need much«help» from them. It’s in a convenient location near the freeway and it’s always open when I’m there.(the 76 near my residence sometimes closes early in the evenings even when it says they’re open 24⁄7)

Circle K used to be here, now it’s 76. on a recent long trip, i needed to fill up gas here since so’s mercedez only likes 76 gas. runs smoother, i hear. somehow, i couldn’t get the new fancy model gas pumps to work. before the upgrade, i could. i was too embarrassed and frustrated to ask the attendants how the pumps work and left with .23 in purchase.(attendants used to come out and assist if necessary, now they just sit in their booths, read a book or talk to friends on the phone.) latter filled up late in gilroy.
