this place been my mechanic since i got a new car, they been taking care of my car. the most i like about this place there are friendly and very helpful, cheap and reasonable prices and no ripoff. fast service and also give tip about how you can take car of your car.

Fast service & great prices! I was a bit worried that being a girl, they would try to do me with high unreasonable prices but they didn’t :) I got a synthetic oil change, new air filters, tire rotation & tire patch for only $ 100. Definitely my new go to auto shop.

Well…not anymore. This place stands behind its work. My entire family brings their cars here. We travel from Vallejo and it’s worth the drive. Dependable and quality work. You won’t be dissapointed.

One time I brought my mom’s car here to get checked out; the engine light wouldn’t turn off. It took them less than a minute to figure out that her gas tank door wasn’t closed properly. They were really nice about it.

This place is indeed hands down the best mechanic I’ve been to. These guys will do a better job than the lousy dealers who don’t give a **** about your car. Their rates are extremely competitive and they are very honest.
It does get hectic all the time, but that means they must be doing something right if customers keeps returning! Lai the owner is extremely knowledgeable. He even does minor body work /​electrical work for me even though they mainly focus on major mechanical work.
Even though he has an accent and many customers feel that there is a language barrier, they still return to him. He knows his stuff and is a top notch mechanic. Its the quality of work that counts, forget the communication. You can just drop your car off here and he will figure out what’s going on and let you know step by step on what needs to be done.
I have recommended many of my friends and family here and they can all agree that Lai is excellent on what he does. Whether you own an old crappy vehicle or a very recent vehicle with intricate electrical and multimedia components, You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t drop off your car here and give him a try!

I brought my car here because it was recommended by a few people. I thought, what the heck, with the good reviews and the recommendations, they might be a good shop to go to.
I knew my car needed a new thermostat because the engine temp was always on the first mark of the cool side and it never reached the operating temp.
Brought the car in and told them that the car did not reach it’s operating temp and it always stayed on the cool side. I spoke to the old person that spoke little english (don’t know his name). He said ok and that he’ll check it out.
I get a call 3 days later saying that my water pump has gone bad and so was the radiator. I told them that I was pretty sure the T-​stat was the culprit. He replied saying that they checked the T-​stat and it’s working fine. I didn’t argue. He’s the mechanic, what do i know? I’m just a guy who works on my car as a hobby when I get a chance.
The next day, I picked up my car and i paid around $ 300. I didn’t get a chance to see the temp go to the 12:00 position as the shop was less than ½ mile. I didn’t think i needed to anyway since supposedly it was fixed. 3 days later, I got a chance to drive the car and I kept watch of the temp. An hour of driving has passed and the needle still did not hit the 12:00 position. Even after 15 mins, it was still on the first mark of the cool side. I’m irritated at this point since I did tell them the T-​stat was the problem.
When I got home, I looked at the radiator AND IT WAS STILL THE OLD ONE! I didn’t even bother to call the shop and complain for the fear that if i do take it back, they might make it worst. So i fixed it myself.
Since I was going to take out the T-​stat, I flushed the radiator and unbolted the water pump to see if it had been replaced. It looks like the water pump was replaced with an inferior model compared to mine. Mine had a metal impeller while the one they replaced had plastic. The upper and lower radiator hose was replaced too (by them). So i’m thinking that the only thing they did was replace the water pump and the hoses. I bolted the new T-​stat and put everything back and test drove it. After a few minutes of driving, the car reached the operating temp (12:00 position).
I called my fam and friends and told them the situation. Their reply was maybe they just don’t know how to work on german cars. I thought about it and my family and friends do drive import cars (jap cars) and also I did not see a single german car on their (510 auto) lot. It was mostly import cars (jap cars).

I have been coming here for years, and will continue to come here for years.
My parents were the one who recommended me to come here, and boy, I’m glad that I listened to them. The service here is excellent, cheap, and the best thing of all, their customer service. Everyone is so friendly, especially the owner, Lai. No matter how busy he is, he will take the time to take a look at your car. A perfect example would be right now with my girlfriends car.
I was here 15 mins ago with her car, because it has been making some screeching noise, and Lai was and is working on a car when I arrived. I told what happened, he stopped what he was doing and took a look at my car. He fixed it and didn’t even charge me for it. On my way home, I noticed that it was making a little noise when I stepped on the brake, so I called him. He told me to come back and he will be more than happy to look at my car for me again.
I highly recommend this place to everyone who is interested in a friendly place that is run by excellent professionals, who provide really reasonable prices!

I have brought them my SAAB, my Suburban and, my mothers Caprice Classic and these guys have always gone above and beyond in their service. Recently my SAAB just wouldn’t start and I just so happen to be at the Shell station at the corner. I walked over to the shop explained what happen. Dude remembered me and told me to bring it on over. Even tho it turned out to be something very minor I was overwhelmed with there willingness to fit me in and help me out. They’re the best! Better then all the rest, better then anyone. Simple The Best!

I brought my 2011 Mustang GT in for HID’s in the fog lights and headlights. 510 took great care of my car and had very good pricing. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I’ve been going to this place for many years, when I had my Mustang. Mike is always honest and reasonable priced. Last year Mike told me he wouldn’t install the brake pads I brought to him because of the quality. I didn’t listen and went somewhere else, boy was Mike right; the brake pads suck. I can bring in my own parts and they install. Love this place!!!

My dad’s been coming here for years, and I also go to these guys should I be strapped for time or don’t have the knowledge/​tools to tackle my projects. Mike and Lai are straight-​up honest folks who genuinely enjoy what they do. Their pricing is extremely competitive and they’ll realistically tell you if you need to replace/​fix certain parts. For instance, if there was a minor leak on an older car and the fix was very complicated, Mike/​Lai would ask if the customer REALLY wanted to fork out the money or if he/​she could live with it. They use OEM parts, and Centric rotors on my brakes, stuff I trust. They don’t hurry the customer and are willing to let you check-​out what they’re doing as well as break-​down what’s going on with your vehicle.
The place might not be the cleanest, the waiting area might not have wifi, there might be a few safety hazards violated (smoking next to engine oil), but this place is real.

Friendly fast service! Multitude of services including body kits/​lowering/​turbo and your all your auto maintenance needs — although I’ve only gone for their oil change I wouldn’t think twice about going for other maintenance needs.
