The Massage Associates are all incredible. I’ve been to a few massage places and they are ok at best. The Massage Associates are simple and 5 stars and then some. I’ve had massages from all the ladies and they ALL are legit! You literally can’t go wrong here!

Joanne you are amazing I had a great massage today I was so stress and tired from work that her magic hands brought me back to life, will continue to come back.

This place is great for therapeutic massage. Michelle is awesome and really focuses on your problem areas. I’ve been there a few times and look forward to many more.

If I traveled the world, I would hire Jana to travel with me. She is an amazing massage therapist. In the last 8 years, I have only been to one other massage place, only because my BF wanted a couples massage and so we found a place in Laguna Beach that can accommodate. Anyway, if you are looking for an awesome massage and don’t care about all the fluff, you have found the right place!!! This place is clean, staff are friendly, and you get the full 60 minutes massage.

I am so glad I decided to go to The Massage Associates. I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from the owner, Michelle. Her knowledge of anatomical structure was evident in the first 5 minutes. She provided just the right amount of pressure and her services did not seem rehearsed whatsoever. Even better, she was able to make me an appointment the same day I called in. I am grateful to have discovered this gem and I cannot wait to be back!

Jana you rock, i could not get into my regular place and they are my regular place no more. Jana had time for my 90 minute massage and it was awesome she could feel the areas that need extra attention and i left feeling great. I will be going back at least twice a month.

for the first time in my life, a woman almost made me cry. it hurt to bad but felt so good. had a great experience and michelle was really easy to talk to. she totally listened to me about where the pain was and what to focus on. she also made me feel totally comfortable to Unilocal in relief. i will definitely be coming back. she also gave me some stretching tips to reduce the pain and shared lots of tips like drinking more water, using a hot compress and taking the occasional ibuprofin. michelle is truly a professional in every sense of the experience.

This place is the real deal, you get a exactly one hour massage with experience therapists. Although it’s not a fancy spa, its very clean and the ambiance is quiet and calming. Their price is very reasonable.
Joanne was my masseuse. She was amazing. I’ve been having back pains and really needed a deep tissue massage. Joanne was very knowledgable about the muscles that need work and applied real pressure on those tight muscles. I felt so much better after. I made another appointment to go back.

Found this wonderful place on SpaFinder and had such a great experience! Kathy was so friendly and gave a wonderful massage. She obviously has several years of training and it shows! I went with my best friend who had Michelle, the owner, for her massage and I think we spent an hour talking about how much we loved the place and how great a job they did.
If you’re on an apple mobile device be sure to give them a call because their website is flash & doesn’t show up (they are working to fix it) — I just say that because I was looking on my iPad and almost passed because I couldn’t get info online but the good reviews convinced me to give them a call and I’m so glad I did! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

I had theeee BEST massage from Jana! I woke up with pain in my shoulder & really wanted a good massage to work out the muscle. I didn’t want to go to a typical «day spa» & pay an extra $ 30 so I can wear their bath robe that is 10 sizes to big though. So I did some searching on Unilocal & found Massage Associates. It had good reviews so I decided to make an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly when I called & got me in only an hr later like I requested. When I got there Jana greeted me & took me right back, no waiting around. She asked what I wanted her to work on, I told her and unlike many others in the past she actually LISTENED! It was amazing & she definitely made me good as new. The reason I’m taking the time to rave about her is because I want people to give business to the people who work hard to deserve it. Jana absolutely deserves your business!

This is the 2^nd time I’ve been there. Jana did a fabulous job! What I also liked was that it was for a full hr.

Another excellent experience with Joann today for a «rehab» massage. It is a much deeper massage than the «relaxation» one and it does cost $ 10.00 extra, which she told me right up front, before we started, and asked if I still wanted that type. I see why it is a little more — there is a liniment (?) oil used, plus it must be a lot of work for the therapist! The liniment feels warm going on and then it turns chilly and tingly. Not unpleasant, but odd… I went to a piyo strength class right after and I could really tell the difference in the elasticity in my muscles and joints. Oh, and even though I have been there several times, give yourself extra time to find this place because it is tricky to get to even with good directions.

Oh My Goodness! Where do i begin to RAVE about this place? I received a gift card for this place on my birthday a few years back and have not gone to any other place since then! If you can and she is available, ask for Michelle (she’s the owner of this awesome place) when you schedule your appointment. She’s seriously got golden hands! I have horrible upper back and neck problems and have to go every month to get a massage because 1) my boyfriend sucks at giving them (dont tell him i said that) and 2) if i skip on them, i am one grumpy, in pain, MEAN person!
The place is small and quaint and very cute, its clean and has a comfy feel to it. When you get into the rooms, music is playing thats really relaxing and puts you to ease.
Michelle is AWESOME. She’s had quite a bit of experience in this field and honestly, has magical hands. I love my massages deep and the pressure to be very hard, and she hits the spot every time! She’s great!
The prices for the massages are fair and they dont stiff you at all. You get a full hour as opposed to like 50 minutes at some places like Massage Envy. Another thing i love about this place is that its consistant in terms of employees. You always see the same people that work there, which, to me, shows that they love working there!
Massage Associates has a returning customer in me for life!

Enthusiastic 5 stars… experience from start to finish just exceptional. Beginning with the staff, they were kind enough to extend my session when I was 10 minutes late, had trouble finding the place (allow yourself a few extra minutes, a little tricky)
And without overstating, Jana is best masseuse I’ve had in my 8 years living in Dana Point. Fitting end to a great holiday.
Will certainly repeat and recommend you do likewise.

It was very difficult to find but OHHHH!!! It was so worth it!!! My massage was so amazing. I have had lots of Groupon massages and this place was DEFINITELY THE BEST!!! Guhhhh I wish I lived closer so I could come more… LOVED IT!!!

This place was so nice! I got a Groupon deal for $ 35 for an hour massage and mud treatment. When I got there, there were showing a new receptionist around, and my therapist had called and said she was running a bit late. I didn’t mind; the two women working there kept me company and in good spirits.
When my therapist, Jana, got there, she showed me to my room and we got started. We kept a light conversation (I admit, I like to talk) while she worked on my neck and shoulders. Then she had me turn on my back and started the mud treatment. I had never had one before, but it was surprisingly relaxing. Then she worked on my back. Now, I have the worst back known to man. Thanks to slouching through my teen years and being a klutz, I’ve wound up with horrible pain in my right rhomboids.
This seemed to be no problem for Jana! She worked them out and paid special attention to them. it was fantastic.
Then, as I was leaving, was told that they are offering a special to all their Groupon customers: another $ 35 for another hour massage. I purchased one for my mom and went on my way.
All and all I thought this place was great, but I do have to say it is very tricky to find! For anyone looking for it, park next to Chase and walk into the little plaza next to it. It’s right past the fountain :)

I came here with a voucher I bought off Groupon and wow! If there is one thing I bought off Groupon that was TOTALLY worth it, it was my massage by owner Michelle!
I’ve been experimenting with a few massage places lately to try to find a place that I really like, and I think I may have found it!
Michelle was super attentive upon my arrival (oops, 5 minute late — my bad!) and made me feel right at home. She has such a warming personality that you’re immediately at ease.
The facility isn’t huge and sterile — it too, is super inviting.
My massage was fabulous; Michelle kept asking how the pressure was and if everything was good. Will definitely return!
