We finally decided to have a tankless water heater installed after all these years. We planned on getting several estimates but because we were so pleased with the first company that we called (So Cal Tankless) we pretty much picked them right on the spot. After talking to Mike about what was involved in the installation, the tax credits and rebates, we set up the appointment for the install. They showed up right on time and were so organized and efficient that my husband later said that he wished that they did other projects around the house as he would trust them to do just about any work that we needed. A fine company and we will highly recommend them to friends and family!

Our conventional (tank) water heater failed on Saturday. My wife did a search of local businesses and, as she wanted a tankless water heater, found SoCal Tankless in our area (south OC). She left a message on Mike’s phone and he called back the same evening, even though it was his anniversary. He offered to give an estimate the following day (Sunday!). He showed up about 12:00 and provided us with a quote. We agreed on a price and he offered to perform the installation the same day. The whole thing was completed in 4 hours and we had the hot water the same weekend.

My husband and I wanted to upgrade from a standard water heater to a tankless. We contacted four different companies to obtain an estimate – two of the four never got back to us, and one charged a fee for the estimate. SoCal Tankless contacted us within 30 minutes of receiving our email.
Mike and Eric came out during that same week to provide a free estimate. We hired them on the spot and are very pleased we did. They did an excellent job removing our old water heater and installing our new tankless water heater. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend SoCal Tankless.

I moved into my condo two years ago and there was no record as to when the tankless water heater had been serviced. I called Noritz and they recommended SoCal. When I called, I spoke with Mike. I was impressed that he took the call personally and gave me a lot of information over the phone. After checking all the 5 start reviews on Unilocal,I decided to make an appointment the next day. Both Mike and Eric came out and I was so impressed with their thoroughness and professionalism. They will be servicing my unit on an annual basis.
In addition, I told Mike I haven’t been able to receive hot water into my kitchen since I moved here and several plumbers were not able to tell me why. I have been boiling water on the stove just to do my dishes. Within minutes, he was able to detect the problem and I ordered the part that needs replacement. Amazing !!
By the time Mike and Eric left, it felt like they were family. :) I highly recommend them !

So our hot water heater went out on Martin Luther King Jr Day, I called and asked if they could install a tankless the next day, Mike said yes his father would be there during the late morning.
Richard and Eric showed up on Tim and did a great job. I felt I paid a fair price and the job was done in a courteous, professional manner. We have hot water. We did have a basic install so they were in and out in about 4 hours. The electrical was done by another contractor Brady Vincent 714−514−5688. My entire experience was great from So Cal Tankless, I would definitely use their service again.

We had a problem with our tankless water heater late one night and I called to schedule a service call with SoCal Tankless and Mike picked up the phone on the first ring. He walked me through a few steps over the phone and Mike was able to help me right away. I have never experienced this kind of service from a plumber. I will refer as many people to SoCal Tankless as I can in the future.

Our tankless Rheem water heater was shutting itself off ten times a day, and we had to manually restart every time we needed hot water. Mike responded quickly to perform troubleshooting, and was able to have a new controller board shipped to us from Rheem at no cost. He installed it the day after it arrived, and our troubles are now gone. Thanks Mike for your prompt and courteous service.

Mike came out and did the work as quoted. It took him all of 15 minutes to replace a controller card and charged me $ 200.00 in labor. I thought it was excessive and told him as much. Nice guy, did good work, I just can’t afford him

I’ve been a resident of Dana Point since 1969. It’s been several years since I found service as good as what Mike has to offer. He called me on a Sunday and said he’d be out the next day. He came on time and as planned. He has vast amounts of knowledge on tankless water heaters. His prices are very reasonable and he is also very personable. He is now my main man for tankless water heaters. I strongly recommend that he be your man is well.

Called SoCal Tankless based on Unilocal ratings. 1st tankless guy I contacted via email never called me back. It was a pleasure doing business with Mike from the moment I called him. He answered the phone (not a recording which I like). Could fit me in that afternoon although I chose to wait until the following week. Needed it cleaned and temp. fluctuation corrected. He showed up as scheduled, he, his apprentice and the truck were clean and neat. Did the job, billed me the price he quoted over the phone and it was done. I have non complaints about the experience, will call him again and highly recommend him based on my experience.

So, I woke up yesterday and decided I’d like to get a tankless water heater for our house. I keep hearing how nice it is to have an unlimited supply of hot water, and after taking a lukewarm shower, decided we should just get one.
I went on Unilocal and found SoCal Tankless had amazing reviews. I sent an email to them and very shortly after received a phone call from Mike. Mike said he was available to come over the next day (today) to install one!
He and Eric just left my house after being here installing for only about 3 hours. I’ve got a shiny new tankless heater, unlimited hot water, and some extra space in the garage now that the bulky tank is gone.

I was referred to SoCal Tankless by another highly rated plumber. That probably says something right there.
Our tankless water heater was not operating consistently. The shower would go cold halfway through. «No Fun» I called SoCal and they set up a time and day and brought another water heater out with them. They replaced it in just a couple of hours and stuck to the quote given.
I wish all plumbing problems were this easy.

Our tankless water heater stopped heating water in the late evening and I called Mike the following morning. He fit me into his schedule that same day and the repair was completed within five minutes (the igniter was damaged). Mike charged $ 125 for the service call (I knew that in advance) and $ 25 for the new igniter. Mike was professional and cheerful (he had to move several boxes and a giant rolling rack to access the water heater and he did it without complaint). Thank you Mike for a job well done.
