Seaside Airconditioning & Heating

We hired Seaside from San Juan Capistrano to replace the followings: Furnace, condenser and air ducts in the attic and behind the drywall. Victor, the owner, is polite and professional. He redesigned the air duct in the attic and added a few new things I really like. For Victor, I wanted to give him 4 stars because of his great attitude and worked very hard to fix the undone in the attic left from the workers. He did additional works to make his customer happy. For the crew, I gave them 2 stars. Everything went well until the installation started. During the middle of furnace installation, without connecting all the components and air ducts, one of the technicians decided to turn on the furnace to cool him down. It made a mess in the air, fiberglass and dusts flew everywhere in the kitchen and dinning room. The crew was unable to install the flexible fiberglass air ducts behind the drywall. It took them about 2 hours to insert a single 7′ air duct in the kitchen’s ceiling from point A to point B (connecting to the living room). I was worried they might break the flexible duct with such strong force. After everything finished, I did an air quality check and learned from the lab report that so much of debris (fibers and dusts) pushed out of the air duct to the living room. I hired another A/​C company to investigate the air duct with video camera and saw a gap between the air duct and the metal sheet joint in the kitchen ceiling. Finally I decided to hire IQ Air to put in a Perfect 16 and also replaced all the new air ducts installed by Seaside. We further discovered another part of the air duct, drop down from the attic to the kitchen installed by Seaside, is not sealed at all (no tape and no duct sealant) between the flexible fiberglass air duct and the metal sheet joint.

I got my Heating and AC installed thru homedepot vendor services. They promised me that i will get 2K in rebates it is over a year now and all this time i was asking them and now when i am pressing them hard they are saying the price they gave me was the rebate was already included.
Vendor gave me fake invoices and forced me to apply for rebates which i disagreed for. Home depot is saying that they are not responsible for it. Vendor is

when my usual guy couldnt come out to fix my air… he refered me to this company… the gal who took my call was obviously fighting a bad cold but she still was friendly and helpful w getting a guy out right away… mike came out and fixed the prob… so my family and i didnt have to endure the 90degree weather anymore!!! great service at a decent price!!! definitly saving this contact… to share. or use myself again!!!

Do not use this company! My husband and I called them for a quote when we were having trouble with our furnace. The «mechanic» took a look and banged around on a few pipes for about ten minutes, and proceeded to tell us that the entire furnace needed to be replaced due to a cracked heat exchanger (which apparently he saw with his X-​ray vision as he did not take a single thing apart), and that we had carbon monoxide leaking into our ducts. A quote of close to $ 2000 was given along with some scare tactics to get us to act right away or we could endanger ourselves and unborn child! Needless to say we were feeling cheated and lied to so we called another company (ocean air) for a second opinion. Long story short, the other mechanic spent a few minutes looking into the furnace and revealed that the problem was a simple dirty pilot light which was fixed on the spot and we were charged a $ 100 for the visit. The furnace is now working perfectly without the presence of carbon monoxide which he also checked and was falsified by ocean air. We later called to tell them how unhappy we were and were called back by the owner who proceeded to argue with us and deny that anything was done wrong. He even set up an appointment to come back himself to back up his employees original claims… he never showed. Case and point. Do not use seaside air! They will cheat you and lie to you!
