The rubber piece on the bottom of my heels came off, so I took it in for a replacement. I went in on Friday, was told it would be ready on Tuesday. Didn’t think adding on a qtr inch piece of rubber would take 5 days, but ok whatever. Came back on Tuesday and the guy said it may not done yet… hmm… He went to check and sure enough the rubber piece was still missing, the work hasn’t even begun. BUT he did the job right there in front of me in like 30 seconds, and my heels were good to go!
On one hand I was stoked that my heels were fixed and I didn’t have to come back again. But on the other hand, if the job literally only takes 30 seconds, why couldn’t he have done it on Friday? I haven’t been to many shoe repair shops, so I don’t have a comparison reference, seem a bit odd tho.
