Gerry K.
Business Owner
Chef Gerry Kent is the avant-garde restaurateur who is transforming the way we in Orange County envision our dining experience. Gerry is a 24 year industry veteran and award winning Chef with an impressive background including Sorrento Grille, Pizzaioli and Antenello Restaurant, where he trained under Franco Barone. Gerry enhanced his high volume experience in the catering industry at Farmers Market’s Sterling Events Catering. Then, he formed The Forge, which he operated in the Temecula Valley from 2002 – 2009. In 2008, Gerry founded the first of the PUBlic gastropubs, PUBlic House, located in the rustic and nostalgic heart of Old Town Temecula. PUBlic 74 is Gerry’s second Southern California gastropub in collaboration with Chad Dickey, a continuation of this incredible dining movement in the making.
