A week ago I moved from the midwest, started a new job, and moved into a house with two women I do not know.
I needed a pedicure on my day off and had no clue where to go and I remebered Unilocal,so I started looking and decided to try them.
I have to say that I do hair and I do nails, so I know how everything should operate from beginning to end when a client comes in for services. I also have to say that my hands and especially my feet are very hard to do, and being over due, they were horrible. I was embarrassed, but I didnt have a chance before I moved.
These young ladies are FABULOUS. The place was very clean and busy too. They smiled, made eye contact, they were thankful and gracious. The services were wonderful, I could of stayed all day. The stress and exhausted melted away, I almost snored.
I must say best pedi and mani I’ve EVER had.
This will be the first time I didnt have to go home and trim off cuticle or use the pedi file to get what they missed. Beautiful polishing… close to the cuticle and no brush strokes showing through.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!
Doesn’t deserve a star at all. I recently moved here and decided to check out a nice nail shop. I walk in at the time they open because I only have so much time before heading to work. The lady tells me they don’t take people until 10 and if I don’t have an appointment I need to come back and check in an hour RUDE! So I never went back for months until Friday, it was my birthday so I wanted to get pampered. I walk in, the receptionist asks if I have an appointment, I tell her I do not. So I asked her if I need one she said YES. I was livid! You turn customers away because they don’t have an appointment??? Come on now. Never EVER going back to this place again.
P.S You should always have a tech available for walk-​ins

Absolutely the most friendly customer service I’ve ever received in the nail salon. I definitely will be back. Plus my pedicure stayed chip free for more than two weeks! That’s the real test! I always wait to post my review until a few weeks after to see how good the service really is!

Went here for the first time to get a pedicure. Highly recommend the ultimate pedicure. They did a wonderful job and my feet feel smooth and beautiful! The salon is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely be coming back here again.

This is the most excellent manicure and pedicure I have ever had I highly recommend this facility. Me Mimi and Hannah are great! The facility is very clean, and the atmosphere is very common! They carry OPI nail products, and Murad skin care.

Everyone here is always so nice and they do a great job. One thing that’s very different than other nail places, is the girls actually talk to you, instead of just to each other, it’s very refreshing to be treated with kindness. The owner has been pleasant and helpful each time I’ve come in. Just make an appointment, as I see them get busy.

This by far is my favorite nail salon! I drive about 25 minutes to get my nails done and it is most definitely worth it. All the girls are very sweet and the environment is very friendly. They do not do acrylics here so it doesn’t smell so strong !

Love this nail salon! My three daughters and all of their friends have told me multiple times how great this nail salon is and that it is the only one they go too, so i decided to make an appointment for myself. I arrived for my mani/​pedi and was seated right away. The employee introduced herself (i think it was Megan?) and she handed me a menu of the different pedicures that they offer (i got the vitamin e pedi and it was amazing!) it was also $ 5 off on pedicures that day so that was also nice! Megan did a great job and I am so happy that i finally took the time to try this salon out. I will definitely be back!

Color Nails stands out from the other nail salons I I have tried. They offer great service and they have a friendly, professional team.
I LOVE that they carry my favorite Murad skin care products, offering a bi annual sale which is when I stock up!
Mani pedi discounts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Very clean and comfortable environment.
If you haven’t been, you should definitely try it.

What happened to this place? The the owner is rude and confrontational. I have been yelled at today, so not a good begining of a relaxing spa visit. I used to tolerate unfriendliness of the owner as the actual nail service was high quality, but not anymore. My pedicure looks slapped on and uneven and there was no foot on hand massage with the service.
Pros: *decent gel manicure
Cons: *owner is unhelpful to the point of rudeness
* the toxic looking chemical disinfectant soak, that I developed an allergy to, is mandatory
* no option for plastic tub liners
* no option for sea salt foot soak
* no UV protectant gloves for gel manicure
* hit or miss as far as pedicure quality goes
* expect a lot of resentment if you choose to come in for a correction, if let’s say your pedicure flakes off in the next few days
I’m looking for a new place and so far Sea view nails is the favorite.. I’ll try the natural nails place in SC next.

I was getting ready to enjoy my gel manicure and pedicure, in the chair and all, and then the owner begins to nickel and dime me. Now if I were doing a basic cheap mani pedi, I’d understand — that’s how they make their money. But I was getting ready to spend nearly $ 100 on my services alone — I wanted a relaxing, enjoyable experience and had opted for the bigger packages. But then she adds on $ 5 for gel (ok no problem) then also $ 7 to TAKE OFF my gel polish — this is where I said forget it. They want me to spend $ 7 so I can take off old nail polish to drop $ 100 so they can do the pedicure I’m already spending top dollar on? This was a convenient place next to my work — forget it unless you want to be up charged for everything. And it’s not about the money — I’m willing to purchase quality packages for a quality experience — but I just don’t like being haggled! My Nails & Spa place in Irvine off of Jamboree does a great job, no hidden charges. I’ll stick with them! So much for a relaxing mani/​pedi.

I live in San Clemente and color nails is my go to nail salon! It’s worth the drive!
You’ll need an appointment but a little pre planning is worth their expertise.

I got lucky walking in on a Saturday morning without an appointment. I am 39 weeks pregnant and just started my maternity leave so I was looking for a place to get a pedicure because I can’t reach my toes very well and, heck, I deserve a little pampering. I rarely go to the nail salon so I picked this place and hoped they might be able to squeeze me in. Of course, I expected I might have to wait for a little bit but I didn’t wait long at all. I got the vitamin e pedicure. It included a lot for $ 36: callous removal, sea salt scrub, hot wax treatment, and massage. They really took their time (almost an hour total) which I really appreciate and the lady who did my nails was very sweet. I was very happy with my service and greatly enjoyed treating myself to a pedicure at this salon. Would definitely recommend and will return again!

I love this place. Professional, clean and they play music that makes you feel like you are on a European vacation.

Favorite location in all of South County. For myself and my three sisters. Last time I was here I ran into two neighbors as well. Apparently, this place is not a secret.
Hint: call in advance to make sure they can fit you in. Or better yet, make an appointment.

I’m new to the area and I’ve tried 3 different nail salons, I’ll be making this my home nail salon. The place is extremely clean. You don’t have «chit chat» between the technicians and the prices are great. tues is pedicure special at $ 15.00. Spoke to another customer who’s been coming here for awhile and she thinks it’s the best — so do I! Try it out for yourself.

I made an appointment and there was minimal wait when I got there. Everyone who was working there was friendly and courteous. Nobody tried to upsell anything although I decided to splurge since I was a bit stressed. I tried one of their $ 40 coffee lover pedi (this was last May) which was really pampering. I also loved the coffee smell, it didn’t smell artificial.
Jenny did my pedi and she was super nice. She tried to have a conversation with me but I was just kinda out of it. She was cool about the whole thing. Jenny also took her time to massage my tired legs which is really appreciated if you ask me. I tipped her well because I did have a relaxing time mostly because of her. Another girl did my french mani while Jenny was doing my pedi. The other girl didn’t really do anything notable. In fact, I think she only did 40 seconds of massaging on each of my arms and it wasn’t even decent. I hardly felt anything, she might as well have just been spreading lotion. However, she did do a good job on my french mani and the mani lasted almost two weeks without chipping.
I’d come back again but I really hope that I get Jenny or someone who can do a decent massage. This place seems clean and the staff seem to be mostly professional. It’s a nice treat and worth it.

This is by far the best nail salon in San Juan! They do a great job, and make you feel welcome. They do not bicker when you walk in the door and hat makes me feel much better! They seem clean and their services are very good. They get very busy so an appointment is key.
Not giving 5 stars because: sometimes they seem a bit discombobulated and last time I went my chair massager wasn’t working despite them trying to fix it. Super busy, need appointment. Also, they are pricey but worth it when you want to pamper yourself.

Normally, we LOVE this place. We had an 11:30 appt today, but, here it is a half hour later and we are still waiting… Frustrating to say the least.

Well, I’m sitting here about to get a pedicure when I was notified that I must pay an additional $ 7 to remove my old gel in order to get a pedicure. Not too happy about that. So, beware when coming in with remnants of old gel on your nails. Going to have to give this salon bad marks without even finding out how the rest of it goes.: (
