After seeing the reviews, I called Simon out give me an opinion on what to do with my 3 very tall Eucalyptus trees in my backyard. He gave me options, each with a very detailed explanation of the pros and cons. He clearly has a lot of knowledge of trees and is very willing to share that knowledge! The team came out and were great. They were very cautious with falling branches and even helped repair a neighbors lemon tree while they were there — no charge. Great service. Will definitely use them again to keep these trees under control!

What a professional company! Showed up on time for the estimate and again to complete the job. The whole crew was courteous and awesome.
The cost was reasonable. We had a huge tree on the hillside leaning right towards our home. It was a big job and they finished in less than 6 hours. Like I said the crew was phenomenal.

We had an extensive and costly landscape remodel done 1.5 years ago and had two trees planted in the process. Their species and location make it critical that they are shaped and maintained properly. Wanting to protect our investment, I did research to find more than your average tree service. I did get two bids from certified arborists (Coastal Arbor being one), both with excellent reviews on Unilocal.After meeting both, I felt Simon was the guy for the job based on his knowledge and personality. His price was lower, which was a bonus.
In addition to shaping those two trees, I had a lemon tree needing some attention and two plum trees that had reached the end of their life span and were diseased and needing removal from a raised planter.
I was amazed by their graceful execution of the tree removals. I was concerned that one tree was hanging over the wall into my neighbors’ yard and intertwined with her tree and her iron fence. I had warned her they were coming and worried they might make a mess in her yard or need access. They never had to go into her yard and their removal of the branches was done with careful assessment and deliberate removal of specific branches in an order that allowed the removal in such a gentle and easy fashion. I can’t believe they were able to remove the stumps with just physical labor, as the stump grinder would be difficult to get up in the planter. They shaped my trees beautifully and Simon tended to my special trees personally and did a great job. They left my yard far cleaner than it was when they arrived! Simon told me how beautiful my one tree would look at night when the spotlight hit it, and he was so right!
I am thrilled with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend Coastal Arbor to anyone.

Our newly purchased property hadn’t been maintained for at least 10 years and was an overgrown jungle. Simon gave us a good, fair price, showed up when they said, and transformed the property. Was it perfect? No, but given the situation I don’t think anyone could have done a better job of salvaging the landscape. Highly recommend & will call him again for future needs.

We had Simon trim 12 large trees in our yard. He arrived on time, worked quickly and professionally, and did a great job of clean-​up. You can tell he takes pride in his work and knows what he’s doing. He has an artist’s touch, turning one of our sad looking trees with branches going every which way, into a perfectly shaped, beautiful tree. I had been thinking of having the tree removed, as it was so ugly, but now it looks great. His prices are reasonable too. We will definitely use Simon next time we need some tree work done.

Amazing! I just had them remove 4 huge queen palms and a bunch of other plants from our home. Communication was great. They arrived on time. And at the end they actually asked me if I was happy with the work. Thank you guys I will use you again for sure!

The owner Simon was great to work with. He and I both had schedule conflicts, but he was great about getting back to me with possible dates. My large tree had been HACKED by a supposed «gardener» and I had had to stop them mid-​trim. Simon showed up and put my tree back into a health state and fixed the actually tearing off of one of the limbs that the previous guy had hacked. :):) THESE GUYS WERE FAST, REASONABLE, CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL! I will use them every year for the pruning of my tree. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that they lost a foot off my fire pit when they moved it out from under the tree and broke a hanging candle holder instead of taking it out of the tree before the trim. :(

Simon was great to work with. Came out and quoted a fair price for the job. His guys showed up on time, did a great job trimming up our ficus trees, and did a thorough clean up after. After an issue where his worker unknowingly set the trimmer with a hot engine on my artificial turf, Simon had a colleague come out immediately to repair the damaged area at no charge to me. Simon, his worker, and the whole crew took full responsibility, fixed the damage, and wanted nothing more than to make sure I liked the job they did and was happy in the end. How nice to find an ethical, accountable company in this day and age! I would definitely use them again.

Simon was great! He worked with me on removing/​trimming some trees while I live a few hours away. He kept me in the loop and even sent pictures to me when he was finished. Highly recommended. Will use in the future.

Can’t say enough good things! Got a quick call back to get an estimate on trimming 5 palm trees. Price was fair and they even accommodated a quicker appointment since the palms were making a huge mess. They were in and out quickly and did a great job!

We had such a wonderful experience start to finish. Simon and his crew were punctual, professional, reasonably priced and all around great. We had some large trees trimmed as well as some other trees removed, and the work was great on both. Highly recommend!
