Align Pilates Center is an award winning pilates and yoga studio nestled in the historical heart of San Juan Capistrano. A fully equipped studio offering personalized private sessions, intimate group equipment classes, plus yoga and pilates mat classes. APC prides its self on their world-​renowned training, detailed instruction, and excellent customer satisfaction.

History

Established in 2012.

Cara and Nicole the owners of Align have been working together over the last 13 Years, starting at college to current. For the last 10 years they have been teaching pilates and dancing together in the south orange county area. They look forward to serving the area for years to come by centering their selves in the heart of Historical San Juan Capistrano.

Business Owner

Meeting in the dance department at Long Beach State in 1999, Nicole Howard and Cara Frazier have been practicing dance, pilates and the art of movement together for over 15 years. Both being exceptionally well-​trained and well respected in the pilates community and beyond, they partnered up in 2012 to from Align Pilates and Yoga Center. Since opening their doors they’ve won two consecutive gold medals for best fitness facility in town, and with a loyal following they are bringing health and wellness to the community.

I have been doing Pilates for about 15 years, I have been to many Pilates studios in Orange county. Align Pilates is by far the best studio I have ever been to, they have the most knowledgeable instructor in the county. The instructors always make sure you are comfortable. The owners Cara and Nicole are always available to answer any questions. Do yourself a favor and go to a mat class and get started!

AWESOME studio & AWESOME instructors. The studio has a very warm positive vibe. It’s co-​ed filled with culture, varieties of age groups and great positive energy. The 8:30 pilates reformer class with Bridget on Tues & Thurs is awesome. She’s very involved and hands on making sure your breathing technique & your form is correct. Her instruction is very clear & balanced. I’ve taken her classes at this studio for the past 60 days & the classes have been different each time. I like that the instructors keep the classes fresh & new. They offer matt classes which are great too. If you have handicaps, injuries or maturity has set in, this is the studio for you. The staff is VERY professional, well knowledge, licensed, caring and patient.
I recently took the «Silk Ariel Yoga» class with Laura, which I HIGHLY recommend. It was a great focus method of relaxation with a slow melt of LOVE. Absolutely YUMMY and a nice mental escape from the day to day. I highly recommend this studio to everyone.

This is the best pilates studio I’ve ever been to – and I’ve traveled across the world. The instructors are insanely knowledgeable, friendly, and give you a good kick in the butt.
I have trained personally with Cara and Nicole and they will take your practice and body to the next level. I have never been more strong than when I am working with them regularly.
Love the yoga instructors as well!

I haven’t written many reviews on Unilocal before. I was just thinking about how much I enjoy the Align Pilates and Yoga studio in San Juan so I decided to write a review. I began taking Pilates and yoga classes there about three months ago, and I’m so happy that I finally joined this studio! The owners and instructors are all very friendly and very knowledgeable about teaching Pilates and yoga. I’ve enjoyed every instructor that I’ve had there, and I especially like how they make sure they come around to help you with proper alignment. I feel so much better after each class, and I am starting to see and feel a difference in my posture, core strength, and all over well-​being! I’ve tried many different mat classes and have enjoyed them all. Now I want to try reformer classes. I highly recommend this PIlates and yoga studio!

I bought a Groupon for my fiancé to try group mat Pilates classes. We were looking for something she could do to help her fitness without aggravating her
degenerative discs in her neck and back. It helped her so much and she started looking so good she convinced me to try it with her. The classes really help your core strength and overall posture and flexibility. You can challenge yourself as you progress. Nicole, Amy and Cara are awesome instructors and give you lots of individual attention in a group setting, this is a great value

I’m a 62 year old man with severe degenerative disc disease in my neck and low back, which has just getting better after an injury that had me incapacitated for 5 weeks and found this place from a friend. Guys, if you think Pilates is for girls, I challenge to a session with Nicole, Amy, or Laura, and if you give it your all, and don’t slack, those girls will kick your butt and you will feel it the next day! But all the exercise’s are geared to your own ability. I really love this place and all the girls there, there constant overseeing you to make sure you do everything right and get the most of each exercise is invaluable!!! And as far as my back. It feels better than ever, stronger than ever and my whole body feels so strong. I use to hit the gym and the weights 2 hrs/​day 4 – 5 times a week, but have cut it down to 2 times/​week, and that this Pilates is actually making me stronger!!! Check it out guys and gals, again I can’t say enough about how professional and courteous the girls are there you will love them all!

I was referred by a friend and purchased a package after my first session Bc I absolutely loved Nicole and the studio itself! I started training at Align in January and I’m hooked! I’ve worked with just about every one of their instructors over the past few months and they are all great. They each bring something different and valuable to the table and I love the variety of styles. They are very helpful with working around injuries and, from what I’ve seen, can modify any activity for any person. They’ve also helped me to lose those last few pounds to my goal weight (and more!) and I feel so much more aware of my body and the way it moves. I definitely recommend Align for anyone who wants a solid, personalized pilates experience with awesome teachers!
