Description

Specialties

Many of my classes are designed specifically for people recovering from addictions. Additionally I teach both chair and mat yoga for people who are moving into the practice of yoga and who prefer a contemplative approach to their yoga practice. All classes include pranayama (breath work) and guided relaxation.

History

Established in 2008.

I have been teaching yoga for several years and in 2008 began to specialize in the recovering population. Hatha yoga, pranayama and relaxtion are important to all people, but especially vital for people who are looking at a new way of dealing with life, decision making, and who are moving into a more spiritually oriented existence. Yoga is an ideal physical practice to prepare the body for meditation.

Additionally many people enjoy the benefits of yoga but are not fond of, or possibly able to, getting up and down off the mat. Chair yoga is an ideal solution. Check my website at www.yogarecovery.com for details of all my offerings.

Meet the Business Owner

Kyczy H.

Business Owner

I left the hub bub of the corporate world in 2008 to pursue my love of yoga and participating in many avenues of addiction recovery. I teach several yoga classes a week now, and focus primarily on the use of yoga and yogic philosophy with the recovering populations. I teach in recovery homes and to the incarcerated, in addition to classes in studios and other venues.

I am also a potter and have been seen in the area selling my pieces. Look for me at my annual sale in the Willow Glen Area in July.
