Let me say that, to start, I am a skeptic when it comes to Unilocal reviews. But when it comes to Alisa, the reviews are spot on. She arrived on time, removed the dead rodent, sealed up the various exterior holes both on the ground level and around the eaves, and even sprayed lavender scented disinfectant where the dead rodent was to mask the smells. I highly recommend Alisa. She’s professional and thorough.

Lets just start off with I’m Highly allergic to RATS! I F*#king hate them, and haven’t been able to find a company that would solve my problem’s. We have a 2 story house and every El Nino year we get invaded. I wanted to find someone I could deal with directly to solve my problem and eliminate as many points of entry as possible. I looked on line and found Alisa The rat Detective! She came out and gave me a quick assessment of my current situation, and developed a plan and an estimate. I scheduled and she showed up as scheduled and was very efficient and diligent with her work. She scheduled a return visit the next week to check on the traps. The return visit was a success, she trapped a rat the size of a cat in my crawl space. She promptly removed it and checked the other traps. Currently I’m rat free and all of my points of entry have been sealed up.
I would highly recommend her to my customers and all of my friends. She’s Legit.

We live in a rural area and have had an increase in the rat population recently. The little buggers got into my workshop and chewed up my canvas tool totes and peed and pooped all over my power tools. I’d set traps with some success but decided it was time to call a professional.
We chose Alisa from all the five star reviews on Unilocal and made the right choice. She came out and did an inspection and gave us a quote and a date. She arrived on time and got right to work plugging any access holes and setting traps. She returned one week later and found one trap with a victim in it. She said she will return again in another week and check the traps again.

We started hearing gnawing/​scratching noises in our ceiling after we started turning on the heater in November. Our house is also surrounded by many sweet fruiting trees that overhangs our roof, so it is very attractive to rodents. With a baby on the way, I immediately went to Unilocal to find a rodent control company without any delay. I found Alisa through reading the Unilocal review of Alex Rodent Pro, where Alisa used to work. Most of the good reviews I read on that company were Alisa’s jobs. So I was very disappointed when I found out that she no longer worked for them. However, when I found out that she was starting her own company, I did not hesitate to go with her.
Alisa was always very responsive to my text messages (even at 1:30am sometimes!) to address my concerns or schedule appointments. Alisa was very thorough during her inspection. She went onto the roof, into the attic, and into the crawl space. She even checked our heating ducts when we expressed concerns that the rats might’ve chewed through them. Alisa is very knowledgeable about rats. She could tell how old the droppings are minutes/​hours/​days/​weeks based on the color. She could also tell which type of rats we probably had from where the noises were coming from and how many there might be based on if they’re territorial or not. She also knew which type of bait would not melt away with heat like peanut butter would. After painstakingly sealing up all the holes where rats could come in to our old 1950 house, she set up a few traps for us, in the attic, crawl space, and heater closet. One of the traps caught a rat within 24 hours, and it was a big one too! It’s been about a month since then, and we have not heard any noises. I also have peace of mind that Alisa would be there to save us if the problem resurfaces, but since she was very thorough in sealing up all the holes, hopefully that would never happen. Highly recommend this company.
