I just called 3 times and was transfered to fax lines, call centers (that do not answer), member services (that do not answer) and a operator that has no idea whats going on. I worked at SJMG years back and remember Dr. Wong and thought he’d be a good fit for my husbands PCP. But needless to say I won’t be scheduling with him based on not being able to get a hold of anyone!

I went to Doctor Wong for extreme fatigue and he did some extensive lab. It came back normal, but the fatigue continued. Then I needed to take time off work, at the advice of my two supervisors, «I dont put people off work for being tired» and after i explained i would lose my job, he finally okd one month off. My condition has not become any better. I have two conditions that are impacting my health a lot, so i asked for a referral to Stanford «he only gives a generic referral». Then today, I called to ask for an extension of the disability because my supervisor wants me off until I am able to work. Because I could not get an appt with Stanford until Sept 2, i asked for disability until the end of September. He came to the phone and was very nasty to me, even yelled at me said he didnt care what my supervisor wanted, he wouldn’t do it. It will probably end up costing me my job because of his stubborness, because my supervisor means business. She does not want to take the liability if anything happens to me at work and i doubt that a new doctor will do it. I am really stuck and do not know what to do now.
I wouldn’t want to refer anyone to him.

Dr. Wong took good care of my father, who lived till 97 yrs. young. He was on numerous medications, had CHF, kidney failure, COPD yet lived his last few years alert and comfortable. In my opinion, Dr. Wong and Julie (nurse) should be credited for a large part of that. It seemed like we were at his office every week for awhile.
There were some days when he did seem rushed, but that’s probably due to his large case load. Nonetheless, we appreciated his medical advice and positive attitude.
