Vu Bail Bonds

I would give this place –5 stars if I could. We had been working to raise down payment amount Vu bail bonds agreed upon. After a long and stressful 2 months, we were finally able to raise enough money — and the owner said that he would post the bail the next day. We were all so excited.
Well, at the last minute, on the day they agreed to post the bail, the woman that works there wanted MORE money. Apparently, she was his wife or something.
It’s probably not illegal what they did but it’s pretty shady to mess with people’s emotions while they are going through a difficult time. Be more compassionate and straightforward — instead of trying to exploit people’s misfortune for profit. Giving these families false hope and turning back on your word is just very cruel.

I don’t Unilocal very often but from the services I have received from Vu Bail Bond’s, I needed the world to acknowledge their excellent service they provide to their clients.
Being young and dumb and hanging out with the wrong people, I have been in and out the «system» for quite some time. I have also used other bondsmen agencies to bail out of county jail. This is from overall personal experience.
I got arrested in Santa Clara county and accused of a serious felony on Valentine’s day of 2013, however I am not familiar with this area at all as I am from Alameda county. I was also on formal probation in two other counties during the time of the arrest. Stressing really badly, while in custody I decided to give Vu a call. Turns out there was a probation hold and I was not allowed to bail unless somehow my probation hold gets lifted from my primary probation county. I think it was a girl named Leslie that told me the bad news. I was prepared to stay in the county jail for several months until my case came to conclusion, while sitting in jail and waiting for court, turns out Leslie from Vu’s kept following up with the status of my probation. The probation hold got lifted over the weekend, Leslie then proceeded to call my family without me knowing and asked them if I wanted my bail to be posted. They posted my bail for me… ($ 50,000). I ended up paying 10% of the lump sum. They were really negotiable and were willing to work with me on payments.
Upon my release, Vu gave me a new court date. Being completely unfamiliar with this county and no sort of knowledge, I had no aggressive defense. The owner of Vu’ (Jennifer Khuu) recommended me a lawyer because she told me she works with many amazing lawyers. I was really skeptical at that point because a lot of agencies just want to take your money. I was totally wrong. She found me one of the best lawyers in Santa Clara county, he only works through referrals (from traffic tickets to murder) and takes pride in his work. When I prepared for court to face my arraignment hearing, turns out there was a no complaint! They did not file charges for another two months! Since I have bailed out of county jail and there were no charges, for me to go to court again and get officially charged, I thought I would have to pay the whole bail amount all over again! As the same situation happened with another bail agency several years ago! I basically had to pay double the amount and that agency told me there’s nothing they can do!
Jennifer on the other hand, told me what ever I paid during my initial release, they will pay that exact amount for me again because bail was technically never active since there were no charges filed, I felt so much more at ease! She EVEN showed up at my arraignment with my lawyer to clear my name so I would not have to get re-​arrested and sit in county jail and then post bail again. This time the judge gave a bail reduction and set my bail at 20,00 $. I did not have to pay a single dime! MANY OTHER BAIL AGENCIES WILL MAKE YOU PAY THAT WHOLE DIFFERENCE AGAIN! Even til this day, all friends, family, co-​workers that gets accused of legal troubles, I have referred to Vu and they are extremely happy with their outstanding service!
After 6 months have passed and my case was coming close to a conclusion, I was sentenced to 120 days in Santa Clara county jail. After taking the offer and preparing to serve my sentence, Jennifer and my attorney told me there are many alternative programs that Santa Clara county offered. She assisted me and guided me the steps on how I can apply for EMP. (Electronic monitoring program), Daily reporting program, Weekend work programs. I was so confused and clueless, I called Vu probably 100 or more times prior to my self surrender date because I was so worried and confused on how the process works. Jennifer went out of her way and helped me get through the EMP process and was able to help me get accepted! I did not serve one day in jail. I ended up being under home detention for 120days. If I called other major Bondsman, IE Aladdin or bad boys I would of most likely ended up paying double the bail amount, and I would of sit in jail!
I made a wonderful choice by calling Vu. They have a well rounded pool of experience in the criminal business and they will help you aggressively on your case. With Jennifer’s line of work, she meets and works with many amazing attorneys and will be able to help you get the best possible outcome of your case!
I HOPE I WILL NEVER HAVE TO USE ANOTHER BAIL BONDSMAN AGENCY AGAIN. BUT IF UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES ARISE IN THE FUTURE IT WILL DEFINITELY BE VU BAIL BONDS! THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND WILL WORK AGGRESSIVELY TO KEEP YOU OUT OF CUSTODY!

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I was sent over and booked into Santa Rita jail for a night. After my bail amount was released, I immediately contacted Vu Bail Bonds because I remembered hearing many positive experiences acquaintances of mine have had with them. Cindy was extremely helpful and friendly and made me feel much more at ease when i talked to her over the phone while i was still in custody. Within a few hours, my bail was posted and i was free again. The next morning I paid with card over the phone and Cindy even went as far as helping me by emailing over the contract and documents I had to sign so I can fax them back immediately due to the fact that I did not live near SJ. They really went out of their way to assist me and I would definitely go straight to them if I was to ever get into any more legal trouble. I have heard many positive experiences people have had with their staff, including Jennifer and Leslie. They are all helpful and friendly, not to mention really pretty as well! I recommend this place to anyone who does not want to spend a single night in jail.

The reason why I give this place 1 star is because it’s too expensive and one of the chick that works there is very rude. If her attitude is good I would of give this place 3 stars. They should hire someone more professional and knows how to talk to customer.

Very nice and polite people that are willing to assist you even when it’s in the middle of the night. Patient and willing to answer the many questions I had about my best friend when he was locked up. The gentleman I believe named Mike was very helpful and also picked up my best friend when he was released also!
