History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Bobba took over this well established 30+ year old Almaden Valley practice in 2004. The practice has been completely remodeled, with all new equipment, in the summer of 2011.

We believe in treating every patient as we would treat a family member. We take pride in calling ourselves a family dental practice providing all services associated with general and cosmetic dentistry.

We use the latest technologies including digital x-​rays, Invisalign, Zoom teeth whitening, intra-​oral camera etc. However, more than technology or equipment, it is the quality of care that endears us to our patients.

Dr. Bobba graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2000 with honors; she started practicing in the same year. After working as an associate dentist for a few years, she acquired Almaden Country Club Dental in 2004.

Unfortunately, neither my wife or I were happy with the change to this practice. The Dr. is too aggressive on wanting to do procedures like crowns or fillings because that generates revenue. Our prior Dr. would simply put the needs on a watch and not rush us. When we let the Dr. do a procedure, there were problems which our prior Dr. would have simply taken care of as a part of the original charge. This happened on two occasions.

Highly recommended. Best dental services I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been coming here for 10 years now, I’ve been 6 other offices. Dr. Bobba is an honest business operator and a fantastic dentist. I even moved 60 miles away and it’s worth the drive. Excellent front desk service, Maria is kind-​hearted, trustworthy and hardworking. The whole office staff goes above and beyond to be flexible in scheduling appointments and with follow-​up care. All the nurses provide helpful information for self-​care during cleaning and are patient, masters of their skills. This is honestly a wonderful institution and properly operated dentist practice. Thank you for all your hard work and care all these years.

I was referred to this dental office by a friend. I was greeted upon arrival, filled out paperwork and met with the dentist a few minutes before my appointment even started. She was nice and professional, and gave me tips on brushing. I next saw my hygienist Roxanne, who was awesome. She was super friendly and personable. She took pictures of my teeth and I got to see just how my brushing was. She took her time to get my teeth sparkly clean. The appointment went quick and smooth. I will definitely be sticking with this dental office.

An amazing staff and caring doctor is just the beginning of the best dental experience you and you’re children will ever have. Dr. Bobba personally calls the day after any visit, and she is the gentlest dentist I have been to in my 33 years. She and her staff have changed my life. I have been afraid of dentists my whole life and had the teeth to show for it. Dr. Bobba got me out pain. Another bonus? I’m loving my smile.

I had a cleaning done today and Audra helped me. She was really gentle on my teeth and I barely felt it. I really hate getting my teeth cleaned cuz of the drill but Audra made it nice and easy. Staff is totally friendly too!

Dr. Vidya Bobba and her practice is the best of the breed! My personal experience with previous dental practices has been horrific and caused me to carry a severe anxiety any time I was faced with the need of dental work, to the point where I would delay having routine cleanings done… I know pretty gross.
Dr. Bobba has turned me into a believer that there are good comforting doctors out there that are not focused on the volume of patience they can get in and out of their chairs each day. If you meet her you will understand what I am talking about, really calm demeanor and an extremely good listener. And I don’t mean the type that listens and tells you «yes, that can totally be done» only to find out that after the results turn out different from what you wanted or explained you get the olé «sorry, it is impossible to get that result, this is the best». If I had a dollar for every occurrence that I experienced in that fashion, lets just say I would have a vehicle with a lot more horsepower :)
Bottom line, if being cared and looked after by a good dentist is important to you and your family, I recommend that you pick up the phone and book an appointment with Dr. Bobba, I guarantee that you will not regret it!

I would recommend Dr. Vidya Bobba and her practice without hesitation. Her staff is very nice and Dr. Bobba is excellent. I did not feel pressured into doing anything I did not want which was a relief compared to the other dental practices I’ve been to where they try to push you into doing unwanted procedures. Finally a stress-​free dental appointment!
I took my 3 year old to Dr. Bobba for his first dentist appointment and was pleasantly surprised at how well it went. My son loved Dr. Bobba and is eagerly waiting for his next appointment!

Dr. Bobba is great. She’s very nice and comforting and makes sure all my questions are answered. I bring both of my boys there and she’s very good with them both. Especially my youngest who has autism and wants to see and touch her devices. She is very patient with him and that’s great so he doesn’t mind going to the dentist! Her staff is very welcoming and warm as well and they have late office hours on Wednesday which is great for a full time working mom!

My whole family trusts Dr Bobba with our dental health. As a mom I like that her office uses modern diagnostic tools like laser to detect cavities and digital X-​rays. Her office is nicely remodeled and the waiting room is comfortable for kids and adults.

Well all the other reviews have said so much about Dr. Bobba and I’m here to tell you all the wonderful things they have said are true. She is truly an amazing dentist! She’s friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. You can tell from the minute you walk in her office that you will not get this experience anywhere else. It is a very inviting and relaxing atmosphere. She has a wonderful staff and it’s certainly a reflection of her! I love going there and so do my 2 children. I’m glad that I found her years ago! If you are looking for a new dentist… She’s the person you want to see. You won’t regret it!

I can’t even express how GREAT my experience was with Dr. Bobba’s office. My mother goes to her office and I was in town for my wedding. They took me no problem for a last minute cleaning and teeth whitening. Overall, the whole entire office is friendly, and extremely professional. Hands down my best experience at the dentist yet! From time to time as a child, I was dragged between dentists under limited corporate insurance policies, thanks to my parents. Safe to say, I have had the pleasure of having the longest relationship with Dr. Vidya Bobba. I’ve been with this dentist for over 3 years and it feels like we’re still in the honeymoon phase. From the biweekly reminders to the bright white smile on Bobby (the charming receptionist’s face) to the gentle dental cleaning, I have never had a complaint with this wonderful staff. I was referred to Dr Bobba’s office after my brother in law chipped his tooth & seen Dr. Bobba. He was so happy with her work & her office staff that I decided to cancel an appointment I had with my regular dentist & give her office a try & I’M SO GLAD I DID! Upon arrival her staff was all smiles & welcoming. It was so nice to not be intimidated when I know I’m walking into something that could possibly cause me pain (I needed lots of work done) After my consultation with Dr. Bobba I decided I was definitely going to make this my permanent dentist office. She was so patient in explaining the work I needed done & made sure I understood why the procedures were essential for the health of my teeth. So between Dr. Bobba & her wonderful staff I am very happy to call this office & make my appointments.

Dr. Bobba is the best dentist my family has ever had. She is very skilled, gentle, and uses the best tools and technology. She takes time to explain everything from routine care to treatment options and possible future needs. The staff is friendly and cheerful. Dr. Bobba takes time each visit to inspire my kids to take good care of their teeth, and they even like going to the dentist! Now with orthodonture I really appreciate how great Dr. Bobba is with kids. My friends who have asked for recommendations are also super happy with Dr. Bobba. Dr. Vidya Bobba is absolute the best family dentist in the bay area and our family would not consider going somewhere else. She is very thorough, careful, makes sure her patients are very comfortable even when it is an uncomfortable treatment, and on top of that she is absolutely amazing with children. Our kids absolutely love coming to her dental practice. She replaced 2 of my crowns and I did not feel any pain! She also does teeth bleaching and I’m planning to get this done this year as well. If she does this as good as the rest of her dental treatments I’m sure that my teeth will look fabulous!
