V&M Ornamental Iron Works

We used Mario for a large custom automatic gate — wrought iron and wood. I drew what I had in mind on a piece of paper and he created exactly what I wanted. He was professional and very talented. 3 years later and it still looks brand new. He even fixed a broken chair from our patio set for us! Great guy, great service. He is a true artist.

We needed a railing for our deck, Mario came out the same day for an estimate and asked us to come to his shop so we could see the materials in person. We were able to look at different designs, shapes, and paints. We chose different parts from his samples for our railing. He took the time to go over the different choices we made and gave us the pros and cons for everything. We appreciated his patience and recommendations and our railing turned out great!

This is the first time I’ve ever written a Unilocal review, but I was so impressed with V&M iron works, I wanted to share my experience. I called for a quote after checking out their website and pics, Mario showed up 2 days later and was extremely helpful! He looked at our house and gave input to come up with a design to compliment and match our overall style. They were very professional, honest, efficient and reasonably priced. On top of that, they were finished with the design and installation a couple days early! The detail work is awesome, and Mario left us extra paint in case we scratch the rail in the future. I made sure to grab their card so I can use them again in the future!

We just picked up our antique art table with a unique iron banding connecting the wooden legs. The iron band was damaged with age and required a repair. V & M were absolutely wonderful, a one day turn around for $ 60.00. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. Great customer service.

Mario of V & M Ornamental Iron Works is a consummate professional. He designed and fabricated a stair rail and hand rail for our remodel which matched our expectations perfectly. He was always on time and actually installed the railing a day ahead of schedule. I have had many experiences with sub-​contractors during our remodeling project, would I not hesitate for an instant to hire him again for any project that I might have in the future.

I recently shipped an antique bench with cast iron legs from another state via a major shipping carrier, and when it arrived at my home, two of the four legs were broken in shipment. I found V&M online and took the bench for an estimate before scheduling the repair.
Mario, the owner, set up an appointment at his place of business for the estimate and was there when I arrived. Many fine examples of his work were displayed around his shop, so I felt very good about having him do the work. Since it was a small job, we scheduled it for 8 am Saturday morning.
We both arrived prior to 8 am that day, and I watched while he did the repair, standing a safe distance away of course. He had said it would take about an hour, and I was on my way in 40 minutes! The repair was excellent and undetectable.
In addition to doing excellent work, it is obvious that Mario values his customers — an example of this happened when I was talking to him during the estimate process, and his cell phone rang. He kept talking to me, making full eye contact, and reached down to turn off the riinger. I commented on this, and he said the customer is the most important. I like that.
I highly recommend Mario and his business to anyone needing fine ironwork and repair.

i call this company to offer me a quote for a fence done on my house they show up immediately to provide me with a quote. Mario the owner was reasonable with the prices he was also professional and straight to the point i approved to have the work done material and quality of work 100% perfect just the way i wanted it. also the paint was excellent even tough Mario told me he was not in charge of the powder coating and paint those things where done by other business that Mario is familiar with communication was perfect job was perfect and a satisfied customer i strongly recommend this company
