Tuxedo and Bridal Gallery was not a good option for me and my Boyfriend. For our first visit here, we went in the store, no one greeted us and there was no one at the front desk (I guess because all of the workers were in the back?), so we had no clue if anyone was going to assist us or not. We waited for a while until someone noticed us, then finally ask what we needed. My boyfriend needed to buy a teal color pocket hankerchief, so the lady went in the back to get one. It took a pretty long time until she came out then asked if this was the right one. We agreed with her then she just suddenly went to the back without even telling us what she was doing. We waited again then she came out and told us the price. We paid, gather our stuff and walked out. The second time we came here was because my boyfriend needed to get a teal color bowtie along with suspenders so I told him maybe it won’t be as bad as the first visit (I thought it was just a bad first impression). We came in, and once again no one greeted us and there were a couple of ladies discussing in the back room. She didn’t come to us until we said «hello,» then she came to assist us. She asked us what we needed, and we told her. However, she said «oh those are only on rental for $ 25.» In my opionion, I thought that was relaly pricey because I knew another play that sold a whole set under 50 dollars (we didnt go there first because we wanted to see if we could get something cheaper because we are tight on money). At the end, I told him lets just to the other place then. It was not a good experience there. We went there two times, and no one greeted us properly until we said something before. I wouldn’t got here anymore. There are much better places out there. if you think this place is over-​priced then you can always go in the mall Eastridge and find your tuxs and etc there for cheaper.

Highly recommend this place. Awesome variety of tuxs and beautiful dresses at affordable prices and they except payments:) I’ve used this business. for all my quince anders and proms:) Awesome customer service too!!! Check it out!

I was looking for a dress (for a weeding) and found one here on the magazines they showed me for a reasonable price (less than $ 200, can’t remember exactly how much) and measure me to order the size. So then, they never call me to tell me that my dress has arrived and after a month and a half I decide to go in person and the lady tells me that they have my dress already. I try it on and the button at the top of the zipper won’t close and the fat lady with the crooked teeth says that I gained too much weight! what a stupid bitch! After she walks to the back, I asks a younger lady the what my initial measurements were and she said that they were the same. The fat lady comes back and says that there are absolutely no refunds and will try to make the dress bigger. I came back 2 weeks later to pick up the dress and I was able to close the zipper but it was so tight that It was uncomfortable to breath. The weeding date was a week later and couldn’t alter the dress any more.
Before all of this I had also ordered a vest for my husband and they measured him and said that it was $ 130. When he went to try it on, it looked huge and box-​like. I asked the lady if she could take it in on the armpits and she said no because that’s how it’s supposed to look. I ended up taking it with a family member to fix it. AND the tie wasn’t even real! it was a clip on, which they never informed me. Never expected that, now I know to ask in the future.
While I was there in one of my visits I over heard someone trying to return something that they didn’t like and the lady kept telling them that it was not possible and had to pay the other half. (since they allow you to pay half when you order it and half when you pick it up) I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

SUPER HORRIBLE !
If you are a bride I would NOT recommend this place ! First, horrible customer service. secondly, My groom and best man went with me to choose what they were going to wear. we chose that day, and I THOUGHT the lady wrote it down and when I called to change the date and ask exactly what she had us down for, The lady said that we didn’t even go in, that we called. and she also tried saying that I told her that I would let the groomsmen choose the day of the fitting. NO, that is not why we went in before hand and that’s not what brides do ! Let their groomsmen choose ! We are cancelling with this store and never going to use them or recommend them. They really need to learn to be more professional. This is a wedding, and no bride is going to want to work with people who don’t even write down what she wants. Get it together.

If I could give less than one star I would. I ordered a couple tuxedos with my friends for a Quincinera I was attending and I got measured and everything. I specifically told them I wanted a tight fit and they said they’ll handle that. When I went to pick up my tuxedo later that week, all our suits were too big, at least an extra two sizes up big. I am a medium and I probably got an X-​Large suit from them. The cost of it was $ 115 and I was telling them how I wanted a tight fit because it was too big and they argued with me that I didn’t say that. It was really rude service. I still took the suit and I went to the quincinera looking fluffy from the suit. When I went to return it yesterday, they were closed early for Easter so I came back today I tried to return it and they said I had a $ 10 late fee. I told them that I shouldn’t be charged because they closed early and they didn’t call me or anything. We went into an argument and I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to scream at the customer. I ended up having to pay the $ 10 late fee and I am really mad because they charged it on my credit card. I’m never coming back here again and I hope no one ever comes here. Everything is way too overpriced and they try to scrummage a couple bucks out of your pocket for a «late fee».

My niece told Santa she wanted a wedding gown for Christmas… On 12 – 22 at 6pm, my options were limited… The wonderful staff at Tuxedo and Bridal Gallery helped me with First Communion Attire…

$ 35 dollars for vest and tie rentals? Yes, I love this place already.
Although its 55 dollars you pay first, when you return the vest after the day you rent it, they give you 20 dollars back.
Lady was very helpful and friendly, she helped us find a color that would work for my prom date’s dress. We had a delightful conversation with her about prom dresses!
We went over here after going to the Formal Headquarters across the street in Sears, which made us pay $ 60 for a vest and tie rental. RENTAL.

I cannot get over how wonderful this place is. It really is a hidden jewel in east San Jose. The owner of this store is extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Even though I did not purchase my wedding gown at this store, she was kind enough to alter it for me at a very reasonable price. She’s even offering to preserve my dress for half the price others ask. My mother-​in-​law bought her dress here, they custom made it and it was perfect. They also provided shawls for my sisters of a particular color that was hard to find, AND also altered my sister’s bridesmaid dresses which were also purchased from a different store. I will definitely tell all my friends about this place when it’s their turn to get married, or need to buy a pretty dress for a special occasion. They also have accessories, like for a first communion, quincenera, or any other wedding necessities.

Better than Selix…
The people that work here have worked here for a long time, and have a great sense of fashion. They many styles to choose from, and they range from the high end to more affordable styles. Selix offers a good variety, but they are a bit on the expensive side.
