Tungsten plumbing is 5-​star rating plumbing service company. Sam and his uncle are professional and courteous. I have used them many times for drain clogs now and I have been happy every single time.
They are super busy so sometimes they are here and there with their timing but it’s worth the wait.

Danny is a very experienced and a hard worker. He worked late into the night to get the job done.

Still no word… next step is that I will be reporting them to the state contractors board. I’m very disappointed since Samuel said he wanted to do right by me. Meanwhile, I had another plumber out to do unrelated work today and he caught something else that Daniel did that was not within code and will need to be fixed. Sigh… the nightmare continues.

I had these guys come in in March ‘12^th 2015 to fix a slow drain in my bathroom. He was very courteous and fixed the slow drain. Unfortunately, it was clogged again in a couple of weeks. After I called them, they came back and tried fixing it again. In the process they broke the trap under the drain and had to replace it. The slow drain came back again within a month again.
I called them again and they tell me that cannot come back this week and will not come to fix it over the weekend. I am frankly not happy with their ability to resolve this problem.

I had bad experience with them.
Had a problem for water heater; so called and few hours later daniel came with assistant. Oh well, he told us he will be back in next day to change water heater valve
Guess what? We called him in next day to change water heater valve; he told us call him back when no hot water. So much different attitude. After two days passed, we did not have hot water. Called him and he said he will come to our house next day at 8pm. On appt day, he did not show up; no phone or text message.
If he did not want to come to our property; just tell me truth. We can find different plumber right away instead of waiting for him.
Whats the point to make appt with us; because of him, we did not have hot water for 4 days.
We finally find someone to fix the issues.
Bad company; dont waste your time and money.

Daniel came out to complete the faucet and valve replacement for my home. He was professional, engaging, patient (answered alllll my questions), and responsive. I would definitely use this company again for any type of plumbing related service.

Just hired them again and once again they fixed my problems. I had a major leak on my property (underground PVC pipes) for almost 6 weeks. I hired another plumbing company, who couldn’t find it. Then hired a leak detection company, who specialize in finding leaks like this and they also couldn’t find it. I literally was about to give up, but figured I’d call in Tungsten again. I like to always try various vendors to have several options — but I would’ve saved a lot of money if I called Tungsten from the beginning
Daniel and his team came in and within a few hours found the leak. Technology can’t replace experience and these guys have experience!

Had a leak in the water line to my fridge in the home I had just purchased. Originally contacted Anthony at Northstar Plumbing, but he was overbooked. Anthony recommended I contact Sam at Tungsten.
Sam and Giovanni showed up right on time the next morning. It was a pretty simple issue with the water line, and Sam gave me 2 options: show me how to fix it at no charge, or fix it right then and there. Being very willing to fix things myself, but very short on time, I asked Sam to fix it. He did, it worked great, and he didn’t charge me anything. Awesome!

I went to my friend’s house the other day to hang out. Well, his water heater had burst and started flooding his garage when I got there. While he was trying to stop it he asked me to Unilocal some plumbing companies for immediate assistance.
Well, being the Unilocal addict that I am, I Unilocaled some plumbing companies and came across Tungsten Plumbing & Drain.
Their reviews seemed legit so I called and spoke with their owner Sam. I relayed the price estimate to my friend and he thought it was definitely reasonable so we booked an appointment and before we knew it, Sam and Giovani show up with a new water heater. About 2 hours later my friend had a brand new water heater and he was really happy. Talk about a quick and easy fix without hassle!
I know when I have any plumbing issues in the future these people will be the first I call. Bookmarked.

I’ve only hired them once, but was very pleased and impressed with the work.
They installed a new toilet for us on a Sunday morning, with only a day’s notice for the appointment. Daniel was our guy, and he was very pleasant and professional. He clearly has a lot of experience from solving a variety of unique projects, and through speaking with him I knew we were in good hands. Very clean, very precise, and very thorough.
I would definitely hire them again.

the delivery guys for my washer couldn’t open the faucets since they were stuck and said i needed a plumber to replace them since they didn’t want to exert any more force in fear of breaking any piping —-
I originally called Northstar plumbing but Anthony couldn’t come out right away so he referred me to Samuel at Tungsten as well as gave me an estimate —
Samuel came out within an hour and even took off his shoes before coming into the house without me asking — it took him a good long while but he got those stuck suckers off eventually
before leaving he turned the water back on to test the replacements and found that one of the newly replaced faucets leaked due to a hole and had to get another one but I am glad he checked his work (as a new homeowner i’ve found that not all do…)
The next day I found that there was a very slooooow leak from one of the faucets (one drip per 10min) and Samuel came out and fixed it

Sam dropped by this morning to refund the outstanding deposit. It’s been quite some time as I have already mentioned but I think that’s an honorable move and so I am giving them 2 stars for it :)

They did a great job I highly recommend them to all my friends and family. They were very fast and officiant. I will calling them back for any plumping job I need in the future. Thanks again you guys.

Best Plumbers Ever!
I trust these guys and that’s not something I do easily. Samuel and his crew are responsive, helpful, practical and highly skilled. They are great communicators and will ask me to send photos of the problem in text then we talk it through over the phone. This helps remove some of the mystery about explaining what is wrong and where, cost estimation, and helps them in their preparation and problem-​solving.
They have fixed my stuck and or non-​functioning toilets, re-​sautered piping to fix a leaky main line, fixed my stopped up sink and shower drains. They came to my house after hours after I came home from work to find an unstoppable water leak coming from the main line in my front yard.
They gave me priceless advice about contacting Kohler directly to order warranty free parts rather than waiting again seemingly forever for contractor response or worse replacing an $ 1100.00 (I know!) Kohler rubbed bronze Vinnata kitchen faucet.
As a self-​reliant single woman I’ve owned my 50-​year old home for 15 years so you know i’ve seen and talked to a lot of different plumbers. These guys are the real deal; straight shooters, nice guys who go out of their way whenever possible to fix your plumbing problem.

Samuel has performed 4 jobs for me over the course of the past few months and he is always prompt, offers the most cost-​effective solution, and accomplishes the job quickly and efficiently. I will call upon him in the future anytime I have a plumbing problem. He’s the best I’ve ever used.
Now, once again, Tungsten Plumbing has come to my rescue. They happened to be in their Modesto office today and came out and solved my water leakage problem. I can’t say too much about how efficient, ethical and courteous they are. I will always use Tungsten Plumbing for both small and large jobs. As an owner of several properties in the Modesto area, I know I can depend on Sam to always fix my problems for a reasonable price.

I called him up with what I thought wasn’t a simple problem. At first I thought his charge to come out and fix the problem was high, but then I called around and other plumbers on Unilocal that had 4.5−5 stars wanted more than 1.5 times the money! I was getting frustrated since I needed the issue taken care of and nobody I called had time/​the price was too high.
After about an hour, this dude calls me back and actually gives me plain and simple advice on the problem and tells me I can fix it myself for like $ 20 if I just go to home depot or lowes and pick up an auger. Well I did and it worked! This guy saved me a bunch of money.
Someone this unselfish and helpful deserves nothing but 5 stars in my book! If I ever need any kind of real plumbing work, I know who I’m calling!

We had backed up drain pipe last week, after business hours on a Monday. There was no way I could fix it myself and we needed it done asap, so I called Tungsten around 6:30pm. Daniel was here by 7 or 7:15. He seemed very knowledgeable about the piping and construction and knew what & where the problem was within minutes. Turns out we needed to replace a section of 90-​year-​old cast iron piping, so Daniel zipped off to the hardware store, bought the materials, came back, and was done by 10:30. I was amazed he offered to work so late, and relieved we had our problem fixed within hours of when I discovered it on a weeknight! All for a very reasonable price.
Heads up, Daniel talks pretty quick so pay attention! In my experience he’s a hard worker, very accommodating, fast, reliable, and trustworthy.
Overall, we’re 100% satisfied and have already called them back for more work. Viva la Tungsten!

Nice guys, and were very professional. Sounded a lot more pleasant on the phone than all the other plumbers I called in the area, and came at the time they said they would. They gave me an estimate on the phone and that’s how much they charged me in the end, with a 90 day warranty. The price wasn’t the cheapest, but it was still reasonable. They even tried to take off their shoes before coming into the house which is so nice of them, but they didn’t have to because the clogged sink made a mess of the kitchen anyways. The job was done quick and I can finally wash dishes and cook in my kitchen again!

Summary: Honest, professional and pleasant men who will tell you everything they know and give you great value for your money.
Sam and Anthony came out the 1^st time to snake my main line. They went 90+ feet in and got it cleaned out. They charged a reasonable price and I was given a 90 day warranty.
Luck would have it less than a week later my line backs up again on a Saturday afternoon. A member of my household has work the next day and needs to shower that night. Sam and Anthony come out at 8pm that night. They try a water jet which does not clear it. They told me it might be a belly which is where a section of pipe sags. They decide to snake it again this time going 105+ feet clearly in the city section of pipe. They are curious that it backed up again so soon and run a camera to see the cause. Around 100 feet in we see 3 blockages of roots in the city section of pipe. 2 blocking half the pipe and one blocking nearly the entire pipe which was the cause of both blockages. They do all this for no charge as part of the warranty.
I get some additional work done which will assist in the city coming out to fix their pipe. Normally this work would take a larger company multiple days at a higher cost, but Sam and Anthony knock it out quickly and at a good price. At the end they tell me I still have a warranty so in an emergency they will still come out and snake my pipe for free so I do not have to wait on the city.
