Trustee Help works with trustees, executors, CPAs and Attorneys to bring order to the personal possessions left behind after a death; respectfully, knowledgeably, and efficiently. Trustee Help knows that when dealing with a major event like death or major life transition families may feel vulnerable, uncertain of where to start and be depleted of personal resources.

Trustee Help’s experienced project managers sort through the home, garage, vehicle, storage unit, sheds and more to help manage the contents. We do this by creating inventories, sorting, donating, managing sales/​appraisals and documenting every step of the way. Plus, every family gets a password protected web page to view progress notes, inventories and photos.

Business Owner

Cari Hays, founder and president of Trustee Help, holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from George Washington University and is a licensed funeral director. While in the U.S. Army, she was a counselor and co-​directed a mental health clinic that served our soldiers stationed in Germany.

Cari has been a socially-​conscious entrepreneur in the San Francisco Bay Area for close to ten years. She has put her extensive experience in the helping professions and her skills at project management to good use at Trustee Help by enabling families to address the issues of death and dying. In addition, she has developed considerable expertise in helping trustees to make the most respectful and effective disposition of their loved ones’ possessions.
