Dr. Trifilo and his staff are terrific! I am not comfortable in the dentist’s chair and this place is awesome! They always make me feel calm and have great bedside manner. Dr. Trifilo and Lori, the office manager, go out of their way to make sure you are treated right. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and am SO thankful I found out about this wonderful office. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been a customer for 3+ years. Dr Trifilo is incredibly attentive and always has your best interest at heart. He’s always ready to suggest the best option for you, even if that may not be what’s best for him. His staff act the same way.
I drive 30+ miles to get to his practice, wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I came to Dr. Trifilo when he first opened his practice, oh so many years ago. I asked the lady at the desk, why should I come here, and she explained why she thought I should see Dr. Trifilo. I asked to see the Dr. and asked him the same question. I have been going to Dr. Trifilo now for almost 30 years. You will not find a better dentist!

Dr. Trifilo is truly the best dentist I have ever had (and I’ve tried a lot of them). He is so incredibly kind, thoughtful, and thorough. Also, is the only dentist I have ever had who does not assume you are made of gold or have a trust fund. I’ve had a lot of other dentists who tell me to get this and that (certain nice but ultimately unnecessary procedures) and seemed to get annoyed at me when I did not agree. In contrast, Dr. Trifilo is very conservative and understanding. Back in 2000, a molar where I had had a root canal as a child started hurting. Instead of insisting on doing a bridge (and pocketing the money), he recommended an implant so we wouldn’t damage two perfectly fine teeth (even though he wouldn’t be the one doing the procedure and he wouldn’t make the money), but warned me they were very expensive. He knew that I was planning my wedding, so I needed to save money, so he redid the filling to buy me some time. He predicted the patch would last 5 years and that sooner or later I was going to need to replace the tooth. My tooth ended up lasting me 8 years, and in that time I had started making good money and the cost of dental implants had dropped by thousands of dollars. Sadly I moved away and my new dentist was good, but not like Dr. Trifilo. Recently, I moved back to San Jose. A week after I moved, my 7-year-old’s front tooth got chipped, on a Friday night. He was crying and in tremendous pain. I found Dr. Trifilo’s number, I called his emergency number even though we were not his patients, his wife tracked him all the way down (he was having dinner or something in Los Gatos) and he cut his evening short to take care of my son.

If you’re looking for a dentist who not only knows what he is doing but also takes the time to talk to you about your questions and concerns, then choose Dr. Trifilo. I swtiched to him after a negative experience with a prior dentist. I’m so happy I did. He is thouroughly concerned with his patient’s comfort and does his best to make each procedure as painless as possible. He is the only dentist in his office too and I have enjoyed the small office atmosphere!

Dr. Trifilo is very kind and really cares for your dental health. I think he passed that on to his staff because they are welcoming and and caring as well.

I’ve been going to Dr. Trifilo since I was about 8 or 9 years old. I am now almost 42! My whole family goes to him… my parents, my children and my siblings. I don’t live in the area, but I don’t trust any other dentists. I’ve tried other dental offices in the past and nothing compares to Dr. Trifilo and his crew. My daughters now see him for their appointments. I drive from Discovery Bay just to make sure me and my girls receive the best! Appointment times are always on time if not early … I like that! =)

Dr. Trifilo is really as good as it gets. He is a fantastic neighbor as well as a caring and technically outstanding dentist. My father was my dentist for 41 years. Dr. Trifilo extends the same concern and care as my father did. Recently, he did a very difficult, deep filling to attempt to save a tooth.
Not the latest and greatest in bull$%it marketing and gimmicks to make a buck, but a patient-​centric practice. The real deal.
I highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr Trifilo is the best dentist! My entire family has gone to him for 23 years as well as many of our friends. It is hard to find words for how much we respect and trust him. His staff is extremely professional and I dread the day he decides to retire, although he deserves it for how hard he works for his patients.

I work in the children’s dental office right next door to Dr Trifilo. Some of my co-​workers as well as two of our dentist and myself go to Dr Trifilo for our dental work. He is very gentle and very much a perfectionist. He gets the job done right. I felt comfortable with him as I had my filling completed. I know I know I shouldn’t have cavities since I work in a dental office. It is a little embarassing to admit. Either way it is taken care of now. The girls in the front are always friendly with all of us. Cindy is a great hygienist as well. They are very good at what they do

Dr. Trifilo is a great dentist and a kind person! He has been taking care of me teeth for as long as I can remember — since I was old enough to go to a dentist. My entire family goes to him, and a bunch of family friends as well. When I went away for college for 5 years, I came back every six months for cleanings. When I moved to Los Angeles after college, I finally decided to get a more local dentist, but now that I’ve moved back to San Jose, I’m back to seeing Dr. Trifilo.
He really is the most kind, gentle dentist you could imagine. I’ve never been afraid of going to the dentist or dreaded an appointment, and I attribute that to him.
His office is not quite as high-​tech as the younger, more up-​to-​date dentist that I was seeing in Los Angeles. Dr. Trifilo has all the necessary cleaning tools; he just doesn’t have the computerized/​digital x-​ray technology or the computer at every workstation to review patient histories. The office schedule and patient files are still on paper, but that does not detract at all from his quality of service or treatment.
