Established in 1995.

I was one of the owners of Final Mix Studios that was located in Campbell, CA for 10 years, where I worked with numerous bands and artists from the area. We closed the doors at that location in 2006

in the summer of 2008, fellow engineer Don Budd and I opened up Tone Freq Studios in Downtown San Jose, CA

My name is Steven Glaze; I’ve been a local recording engineer /​producer /​studio owner /​musician /​and general music freak for nearly 25 years now. And needless to say, during that time I’ve literally seen, heard, and recorded it all. And while I’m extremely adept at recording all styles of music, I would say my expertise lies in recording all things rock, Jazz, reggae, Hip-​hop and Rap. I guess you can say I’m more of an old school engineer/​producer. I learned my craft on 2″ tape machines and big consoles, long before ProTools and digital editing was around, where the only computer the studio had was running the accounting software.
