We found Marty on Unilocal and are SO HAPPY we did! He took our 30+ year old Thomasville bedroom night stands which had scratches and water marks on top and turned them into show pieces! Marty also did an amazing job on our Oak pedestal kitchen table (purchased at Breuners many years ago). It had scratches on the top surface and water damage on the pedestal due to years of mopping the kitchen floor around it. Marty not only made our OAK table beautiful again, he also applied a waterproof sealer to the pedestal to prevent future water damage. He even repaired one of the arms on one of the upholstered oak swivel chairs which goes with the set. Marty is a TRUE craftsman who takes great pride in a job well done! Can I leave Marty 100 Stars because that’s how happy I am and my client is. He took a table top from the brink of the trash to treasured family piece. My client had tried to do it herself and it was a hot mess. It looks brand new and 1000 times better than it did. Marty is timely, affordable, friendly and oh so talented. I had a 45 year old dining table that needed refinishing. I called The Refinishing Factory and Marty gave me an estimate over the phone. He picked up the table the next day (New Year’s Eve) and had it back by Monday. Marty is very knowledgeable about refinishing alternatives. He is obviously prompt and reasonably priced. The workmanship was of the highest quality. The table came back looking like new. I highly recommend them for any furniture work. I thank them for a great job!

I found The Refinishing Factory on Craigslist. We have an oak kitchen table that had some scratches and water marks that had built up over the years. Marty provided pickup and delivery and finished in two days. The table came out great. He sanded, then stained the top and sealed it with satin polyurethane. It matched perfectly to the other parts of the table that were still in good shape. He did some other things like tighten some screws as well as replace the little feet that were on the bottom. I noticed that several were broken when he came to pick up the table but did not mention it. Nice touch when he told me had replaced them.
This was not an antique table so his price to do the refinishing was a great alternative to replacing the table with something new. Thanks Marty.

I found The Refinishing Factory on craigslist. Emailed back and forth for a bit, then made an appointment for this morning. Marty showed up on time, was very knowledgeable about refinishing and had all of his own equipment, supplies, and tarps. I set him up in my driveway which was close to an electrical outlet that he needed for his air compressor. He stripped the finish off of 3 dining tables and 2 end tables and put the waste in a container he disposes of in an EPA compliant way at his work. After stripping the existing finish off, he sands the wood, blows it off clean with the air compressor, then applies a sanding sealer, and finally the water based finish. No fumes that I could detect. Marty kept the area clean, finished when he estimated he would, and the furniture looks new again all for a reasonable price!
