We loved working with the Party Helpers. We worked exclusively with Devra, who was absolutely amazing. She helped us with everything from beginning to end. Choosing our menu, picking linens, and arranging the reception hall. What really stood out the most was how much they offered aside from just catering. Honestly, she felt like a planner rather than just a catering manager. We highly recommend them, their food is great and their customer service is even greater!

I will NEVER use another catering company but the party helpers. Just had my dad’s 80^th and what a successful event.
What I love about them is specifically how they will work with you on as much or as little of the event you need.
For instance They have no problem with you buying your own booze and mixes to save money. If you want to supply the cake yourself… No worries.
Of course, they can do all that and more so either way you are covered.
It was really important for me for everyone to hear (at age 80 there is a loss of that) so the party helpers set up the entire PA system with the cordless mic for a extremely reasonable fee.
The party started at 6pm however they were there at 3 setting and moving large couches outside to accommodate all the table and chair rentals. I saw the owner of the company down the street cutting pine needle vines for the table centers (something I had forgotten on my list). (we had a camping theme) .
They clean up beautifully including moving everything back to where it was and covering food and putting in your fridge.

I don’t know who named this company, but they got it all wrong. They didn’t just help the party; they MADE the party. The staff was efficient, unobtrusive, and smooth. The food was out of this world, and so well calibrated that there was hardly any left over. I got to be a guest at my own party.

I’m writing to provide my strongest recommendation to not only The Party Helpers, but specifically to Devra Romm and her team. I have been coordinating with the Party Helpers for my 9÷13÷15 wedding since the beginning of the year and I could not be more pleased with their services. Devra made the entire process seamless and provided us with the most professional, thoughtful and perfectly executed wedding.
First, the FOOD! It was absolutely delicious and we received countless compliments about how delicious everything tasted. I am a vegetarian and had a few vegetarian & vegan guests. Devra was meticulous about detail and I was so pleased that she was able to provide me with wonderful recommendations about delicious vegetarian/​vegan meal choices. What’s more is the delightful staff ensured that my vegan guests received their special meals! How sweet. The next shoutout I must give is to the staff! The individuals who worked our wedding were incredibly kind, professional and hardworking. We so enjoyed having them as part of our special day. We had Michelle assigned to the wedding party and she made a lasting impression. She was absolutely fantastic and made sure we were full and hydrated! Lastly, I must say again that Devra was just the best! I absolutely loved working with her from start to finish. She is an outstanding professional. If I could give 10 stars, I would! I found out about The Party Helpers because the company I work for uses them ALL the time and every time their food is delicious and they offer a great variety! I hired them for a bridal shower tea party recently and everything turned out great!
When I first emailed The Party Helpers to see if they are available for the date I needed and to see their prices, Kristin emailed me right away! She was great by sending me a detailed menu and a suggested tea party menu. She answered all my questions right away and gave me such great suggestions. Because it was a tea party theme bridal shower, I wanted all appetizers that you could eat with you hands but I also wanted enough appetizers for all my 37 women guests to be full. I couldn’t decide on what appetizers so I told Kristin my budget and told her how many people and just to come up with a menu for me! She definitely delivered great service on finalizing my menu, keeping up to date with all my crazy emails in regards of change of budgets and number of guests, making sure my platters matched the table setup and making sure that all my food didn’t require any chaffing dishes.
The day of the event they came on time and had everything all ready on platters for us! Guests loved the food! They came and picked up their platters the next day! I definitely would use them again in the future! They were also very great with their prices! No hassle with them and everything went smoothly!

Wow, they were excellent! Antoinette helped me get everything arranged for a small (15 person) dinner party at my home. Daryl & Suzanne arrived right on time in a van reading, «Personal & Professional» and that’s exactly what they were! They set everything up and used my kitchen island to create a most amazing display for hot and cold foods, complete with a decorative centerpiece and linen covered settings. Delicious appetizers were ready shortly thereafter, and passed to the guests. We sat, and relaxed, enjoying our wine and champagne, which they gladly served. The buffet dinner was again wonderfully displayed in heated chafers. We ate a leisurely dinner, being peacefully attended to as if we were in a fine restaurant! My wife, who rarely sits down when we have guests over, relaxed and joined everyone to eat some incredible filet minion with maderia sauce, tilapia with dill sauce, Greek salad, and many other goodies! They happily served our dessert and began quietly cleaning up and storing the leftovers in our refrigerator. The kitchen and staging area in the garage looked like no one had ever been there! When we were done, we had a few partially full wine glasses to put away. It could not have been more easy for us, nor could we have had better food or service! I was very pleased!
I have taken my family to several nice dinners, some using private dining rooms, others just a large table in the dining area. Places like Morton’s Steakhouse, The Grill at the Fairmount, The Plummed Horse & La Fondue in Saratoga, and Hayes Mansion. To a person, everyone said this was the best dinner & family experience we’ve had! Truly amazing! Thank you!

This company is terrific and Devra is awesome! I hired them for my daughter’s wedding and they did everything to perfection. My daughter requested a vegan buffet and the food and presentation were fantastic. The meat eaters were even impressed! Every single detail was attended to with perfection and professionalism. Thank you again for making my daughter’s day beautiful.

I first experienced The Party Helpers food at a friend’s engagement party. They had the party at a venue in Menlo Park. The owners recommended The Party Helpers as a top choice for catering. The food was amazing and abundant. They catered for 30 of us, all 30 showed up hungry, and several of us got to take food home! The happy couple is using them again in May at their Wedding at the Los Altos History Museum, but I couldn’t wait to indulge in their food again…
At the party I talked to a Party Helpers staff member that told me they also do corporate catering and cater parties at private homes. So, I brought them into my company who brings Lunch in for us 3 days a week. Our office manager used to order from restaurants, which had become burdensome as the team grew. She now works with a Party Helpers event planner who plans out the menus for her and we feed 110 people three days a week in my office in Sunnyvale. It’s amazing the abundance of choices The Party Helpers offers — something to please everyone!
Last weekend we used The Party Helpers for my father’s retirement party at a friend’s home in Los Altos. It was amazing. They provided amazing food — both appetizers and dinner for 60 people — very professional servers and a bar tender. Could not have been better. Their party planner helped us choose from the overwhelming variety on their menu, and helped make sure we had just the right amount of food and servers.
I would highly recommend The Party Helpers for your next party or company lunch. I plan to make sure they’re the company providing the food at my company’s Holiday Party!

I hired this company to cater a birthday party this weekend. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this company to anyone. We ordered appetizers to feed a party of 30. The amount of food was pathetic, and the quality of it was terribly pedestrian. The menu sounds exciting on paper, but it translates into very low-​middle of the road quality. The worst part is how outrageously EXPENSIVE it was for what we got. The food was gone in no time, and so was our money.
I am a foodie and this catering company disappointed in all ways.
Stay away.

We hired The Party Helpers for our wedding on Aug 29, 2014. We worked with an amazing gal, Devra. Devra continued to be so helpful from my first phone call to our last conversation on our wedding night.
I had very grand idea what my wedding would be. Of course our budget does not match my vision. So I worked around it by doing DIY projects. Devra was amazing and brainstormed some of the ideas with me. She also helped me get into contact with some amazing vendors that have very competitive price. In the end, not only was Devra was an amazing vendor. But I feel like I’ve gained an amazing friend.
Also the food was incredible. Devra was supportive with any modifications that we needed to make. My husband and I are a bit of a foodie. So both Devra and the Chef was able to modify the tasting to our palate.
We also hired Adrienne for our wedding day of coordinator. She was incredible. Within the first 30 min of our conversation, we knew we had made the right decision. Between Devra and Adrienne, my husband and I were able to enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything. At the end of the day, there is nothing I would have changed about the wedding. It went without a hitch!
Below are some feedback that I heard from my guests.
1. Love, Love the food. Everything tasted amazing and juicy. The vegetarian dish was also just as tasty. It was filled with flavor and seasoning. Folks loved it!
2. They loved the timing of everything. There was not a dull moment on any part of the wedding. They knew where they needed to go. and what to do.
3. Your appetizers were very tasty. I heard nothing but good and positive comments on all the appetizers. My brother loved the satay and seriously that says a lot. Let’s just say no one went home hungry at our wedding.
4. Your wait staff did an amazing job on keeping people’s glasses filled and picked up the extra glasses and cups. You guys did such a great job that my aunts and uncles were extremely happy at the wedding.
5. Your wait staff was soo friendly. Our Guests absolutely love it.
6. Folks absolutely love the avocado and corn soup. You should advertise this more. Some folks thought it was a bit spicy. but these were the same folks that we knew who couldn’t handle spices.
7. All in all, people are still raving about the food… months later.
8. Adrienne– Great job on putting everything together. Everybody noticed all the little details. And the flow was great. Like I said earlier, everyone knew where they needed to be.
9. Lastly, my husband and I found the party to be amazing. You guys did an amazing job on keeping us on track and ensuring that were were fed. Most importantly, you kept our glasses filled with wine. I wouldn’t have done this any differently.
If you’re considering them for your caterer… stop searching! Just hire them already! They will make your parties look like a million dollar!

I have been working with Hilary at The Party Helpers for about 4 years now. I have always had a wonderful experience with them. They are professional, super friendly and the food is amazing!
My office catered a 2-​day event with them and the food got great reviews. The staff is so hardworking and professional.

We hired The Party Helpers to help with the bridal shower for my daughter. Aaron and Karin (spelling?) provided professional and friendly service along with perfectly prepared horderves. Many compliments were passed along to us from our guests regarding their courtesy and efficient work. Well done. With 2 daughters left to be married, I’m sure we will be calling The Party Helpers again.

We worked with Kristin at The Party Helpers for my husband’s 60^th birthday bash, and could not have been more pleased!
We changed the menu, the number of guests, and the time we wanted dinner served MULTIPLE times, and Kristin was always very gracious and friendly each time we called. She also made great suggestions at our initial meeting, and helped us think of issues/​items that wouldn’t have occurred to us.
On the day of the party, our hosts Aaron & Jordan arrived VERY early. I was a little stressed about that at first, but they jumped right in and helped with the set up we were doing. They also «worked the room», asking if guests wanted drinks or needed more appetizers, and patrolled the yard picking up discarded cups & plates.
When the hot food arrived, the buffet looked beautiful. They did all the set up themselves, without asking any questions or needed any assistance from us, and it was amazing. The food itself was absolutely fabulous!!! Grilled salmon that was amazing, a mashed potato bar was really fun, and the tortellini salad — YUM!!!
Then everything was cleaned up and taken away as if they weren’t even there, and they asked if they could help with any other clean-​up.
I couldn’t have been happier, with both the food and the service. Major kudos and thanks to Aaron & Jordan, and also to Ricardo (who I believe came later with the hot food?)
They were a «5» in every aspect, and we will DEFINITELY be calling them again and recommending them to anyone we know who is planning any kind of event!

My husband and I worked with Hilary for our wedding this past May. Our venue had given us a list of mandatory caterers to choose from. We had tasted with 3 other caterers before our appointment with Hilary. The party helpers blew everyone else away in terms of pricing and deliciousness. On the day of the wedding, the party helpers were so organized and helpful. I got many compliments on the food! We were so thrilled to have booked them.

We attended the Farrington Historical Foundation 40^th Anniversary Celebration on May 18^th. The Party Helpers catered this lovely event. The food was beyond delicious. The bite-​size dessert bars were scrumptious, They have an amazing staff that was very attentive and polite. Superb catering company.

I recently had my wedding in Monterey, CA and hired my own wedding coordinator through the Party Helpers — Adrienne South, an extended Certified Wedding Consultant — and WOW our wedding was PERFECTION!!! She made everything go so smoothly and drama free, I cannot thank her enough! It was the best day of our lives, we enjoyed every moment of it. I thank her for making sure we had a chance to eat dinner, food in our room after the reception and a dessert box, that was awesome! She was SO organized, we were able to pack up and find everything so easily the next day! She also was great about contacting our vendors, keeping me up to date and putting together a day of timeline. I will definitely recommend her and the Party Helpers to my friends getting married in the future!

The Party Helpers were the second caterer we tried for our wedding and we were instantly wowed at the tasting. We were extremely pleased that the quality of the food at the tasting matched that of the food at our wedding. Our guests had nothing but good reviews for our buffet, and several guests went back for seconds (or more!).
Antoinette and her team are consummate professionals. At the tasting, Antoinette walked us through every item on the proposal with patience and a smile. They answered all of our constant questions via email very promptly and met with us several times to make sure we had every detail worked out. They were always very flexible with any changes we had to request and were thoroughly communicative throughout the entire process.
The best parts of their service:
1) They do their best to make sure the bride and groom get to eat! We were bombarded with greetings from guests, but the Party Helpers had attendants near our table to bring us anything we needed.
2) They pack little bride-​and-​groom to-​go boxes to take with you at the end of the night. We were pretty exhausted and the leftovers were just what the doctor ordered. The food was delicious, even cold!
Overall, Party Helpers was a bit pricey but well worth the cost. The food matched the tasting, they kept the stress level low, and we always knew we could rely on them to take care of anything we needed (like ordering our dance floor at the last minute). I can’t speak highly enough of their service and the quality of their food! I recommend the parmesan chicken, beef tenderloin crostini, yukon gold mashed potatoes, and the tri tip. If we have another large event in the future, we’ll be sure to keep them in mind!

We used Party Helpers for our wedding just a few weeks ago, lets just say people are STILL talking about the food! Party helpers really went above and beyond not only with the food but with the décor as well!
The Food– We had 3 meal choices; fillet, chicken and a vegetarian dish. Guests came up to us through out the wedding raving about each one. how the fillet MELTED in their mouth, the chicken being the tastiest chicken they have ever tasted and the vegetation dish a stuffed portobello mushroom (my dish) I’m still thinking about it!!! Needless to say all of our guests were extremely satisfied with their meal.
The service– The Party Helpers staff was on top of it! Extremely attentive to each and every person whom needed a wine refill or just had a question! They all walked around with smiles on their faces which really stood out to me.
Kristen took care of absolutely every last detail down to making the napkins tied like bows! I truly can not thank her enough, everything was so on point and flawless we truly would not change one single thing. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, and we can really say that Kristen and The Party Helpers staff played a huge part of that perfection!
Obviously I highly recommend Party Helpers, mostly if you are someone who does not have a lot of time to put in all the energy it takes to throw a wedding or large event. you can really rest assure that they will understand your vision and not only execute but surpass your expectations! Or– if you just really want to impress your guests with amazingly delicious food :)

We used Party Helpers for our June, 2013 wedding (60 people) and couldn’t have been more pleased. Their price was competitive compared to other caterers we got quotes from but their food was significantly better than the others we tasted. An added bonus: for the tasting we got to try the actual items we wanted to serve at the wedding rather than a generic tasting menu. It was definitely worth the $ 50 tasting fee to get to taste the actual food.
Kristin at Party Helpers took care of all the details including obtaining tables/​chairs/​PA system, etc. She was extremely helpful during the planning stage as I asked what seemed like hundreds of questions and I think she had to modify the contract 6 or 7 times as I kept making changes. Party Helpers doesn’t provide alcohol but they let us drop off drinks (and decorations, etc.) in advance so that we didn’t have to worry about them on the day of the wedding. That made our lives much easier!
On the day of the wedding, however, I was really blown away by how efficient and organized Party Helpers was. The first thing I noticed was that they had created a large board with the floor diagram I had mapped out and all the other relevant info and I thought this was a great way to keep organized. They did a great job of setting everything up and making it look great. The staff were friendly and no one flinched at a same-​sex wedding. Most importantly, the food tasted great! I would definitely use them again for a catered event.
