The Carlo Law Group handles Federal Social Security Disability (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and California Workers’ Compensation cases. We provide free (and confidential) consultations. There is no attorney fee unless you receive a recovery. The attorneys appear at the WCAB in San Jose, CA and the Social Security Administration in the Federal Building in downtown San Jose. However, our attorneys travel outside of the Bay Area for Social Security Disability cases. Attorney fees are set by statute and are 25% of back due benefits for Social Security and 12−15% of the award for Workers’ Compensation. If you lose your case, then you owe the attorney nothing. We are a small law firm that is focused on disability matters only. Our attorneys include Christopher Carlo Esq, Caroline Dant Esq, and Daniel Saban Esq. All of our attorneys have extensive experience before both the SSA and WCAB.

History

Established in 1999.

The Carlo Law Group was formed and evolved from the Law Offices of Carlo &Bondelie. Ms. Denise Bondelie was a partner at Carlo & Bondelie. In 2007 she moved across the country and thus the Carlo Law Group was formed. Mr. Christopher Carlo has been practicing law since 1995 and he started his own Law Firm in 1999. With the passage of time, the legal focus of the Law Firm is shifting more and more to Social Security Disability cases. The California Worker’s compensation system is the product of insurance lobbying efforts. The current workers’ compensation system in California fails its workers completely. Insurance dollars and lobbying efforts will likely depress workers’ compensation benefits for the forseeable future. With the workers’ compensation system failing the workers and providing unconscionably poor benefits, our law firm has shifted its focus to Social Security Cases. The Federal Social Security system is a much stronger remedy at the present time.

Christopher J. Carlo is proud to represent Social Security Disability Claimants, Supplemental Security Income Claimants, and catastrophic and career ending workers’ compensation clients. He is dedicated to the ethical and aggressive prusuit these Social Security and Workers’ Compensation claims. He is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ compensation law and has served as Judge Pro Tem for the WCAB. He has also served as an attorney advisor for the Pro Bono Project of Santa Clara County. He is a past chairman of the Santa Clara County Bar’s Workers’ Compensaton Section. He is also a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR). All legal matters are handled confidentially with the protection of the attorney/​client privilege. Mr. Carlo was born and raised in the bay area. He has represented disability clients for the past 14 years.
