History

Established in 2005.

Tango Fantastico is a licensed business in Santa Clara County. Sue has taught Authentic Argentine Tango at multiple professional dance studios over the past 10 years, developing tango dancers from all walks of life.

In 2011 Tango Fantastico hosted the first ever Argentine Tango festival in San Jose and the South Bay «TESO — Tango Eso!». In 2012 the festival doubled in size, with an incredible world renowned line up of professionals.

The purpose of Tango Fantastico is to build a tango community through providing a superior education in classical tango skills, worthy of the best milongas in Buenos Aires.

Business Owner

Sue brings a broad background in movement and dance, with a foundation in classical ballet, kinesiology, dance and exercise.

Sue’s principal Argentine Tango teacher, influencer and mentor over the last 10 years is Maestro Jorge Torres, the Principal Dancer and Captain of the Dance for the world renowned Broadway show «Forever Tango». With a New York home base, Jorge regularly visits Sue and her students for workshops.

Argentine Tango for Sue is a lifetime pursuit of personal development and improvement.
