As far as I can remember I have always been fascinated with technology and computers. I was only 15 years old when I first learned how to use an old Macintosh in my computer class. Soon after I became the teacher’s assistant and received a certificate for acting as the class computer guru.

I decided to go into business because of my vast knowledge of computer construction, additions and alterations. Being a dedicated computer support professional with over 10 years of experience, I thoroughly enjoy working with computers and technology and am truly passionate about what I do. I will provide my clients with reliable, trustworthy and high quality computer support services at very reasonable rates!

Micheal was able to recover most of our lost data and repair our crashed computer to working faster then before the crash. He was very responsive while he worked on our computer letting us know the status along the way, working though the night. He walked me out to my car when I picked up my devise. We will continue to be clients. Super nice and great service.

After a rough start (Mike had a phone issue), we finally connected and he was able to recover my «lost» Windows 7 Live Mail email messages. We’re still not sure exactly what happened to cause the problem, but I am very happy to report that my system was recovered because of Mike’s expertise. Since I am new to this area and have periodic need for a computer guru, Mike is my guy!

I had a great two hour visit with Michael. All of my data was successfully retrieved. Unfortunately, my laptop could not be revived. I agree with all of the positive comments posted by others. Michael followed up by email at least six times to see how things were going and to offer his help in my finding a new computer. He truly loves what he does. I don’t need to worry about any future computer problems. Not as long as Michael is around!

Michael is as good as it gets! I had a simple but frustrating problem with my keyboard and he resolved it in a matter of minutes. And for good measure he checked out the rest of my setup and gave it an A-​Okay. Thanks to Michael I am up and running again. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Cant believe I haven’t written a review about Michael all these days.
Let me start with the cool ambiance he has for a workplace. Step in there and all you get is a positive vibe and a sense of calm, Much like Michael himself.
Then there is a personalized approach he takes to solving a lot of problems. I work in technology and understand his approach to issues, However, Im every bit impressed with how he makes some of the complex things look simple. He prices very reasonable over all the excellent service and repairs.
Will definitely get back to him for any other issues in the future.

Had a Macbook Pro battery start to bulge and I couldn’t click on the trackpad anymore. It was worked on before by third party so Apple won’t touch it. Emailed Michael at Superrich Geek and he was able to order the battery quickly. There was a delay in shipping but totally not Michael’s fault. When the battery came in I was able to come in the very next day and get it installed. Took all of 10 minutes. Michael was very responsive by phone and very professional in his office.
This business deserves every 5 star review it has. Fast, quick, painless, and overall just a good business of fixing things fast and correctly. My Macbook Pro works like a champ once more. Thanks Michael!

Awesome place.!! Very professional services. i brought my MacBook Air and Michael restored it and repaired some hardware on it. It was very quick and efficient. I had a lot of questions for him since I am a windows guy crossing over to the Mac world hehee, but he was very knowledgeable and able to address each one of them. Just upon my first visit being there about 30 min i was able to learn a lot about these computers and will definitely only come to him for my computer needs. He is very passionate about his work and willing to give you the ‘know-​how’

There are «geeks» and then there are techies” and then there is «supertechgeek» Micheal. A man of his own breed. Let me explain…
Before I had met Micheal I had recently had my computer hacked in to. I called other Unilocal techies and told them about my situation. No one was able to help me out or offer any helpful advice. Most left it up to me to figure out on my own.
Luckily my bf saw Micheal on Unilocal and read some rave reviews. So I called Micheal. He answered and I told him my situation. He was super helpful personable and calmed me down right away. You could tell he really cared… He is a busy guy but he went out of his way to meet me in 2hrs.
When we met up to meet I felt even more reassured. You can’t help but feel at peace when you walk into his super «zen» techgeek pad. He has the positivity flowing and motion going non stop. He told me that the same hacker situation has happened to other people. He then explained other details like how it may have happened, what to do, what he can do for me etc. He covered it.
He also had some awesome knowledge to share and we chatted a bit and he even walked me out and paid for my parking.
I can’t tell you how happy I was to leave my computer with him. He totally brightened my world that day.
And then…
When my computer was done and ready to pick up he even went out of his way to install it with all the latest software and apps…
I have a really old MacBook and it was running on a really the old system. But he made it brand spanking new on the inside! Like brand spankin new!!! It has really made my life so much easier and I feel so much safer and secure. Many blessings and thanks to you my Friend!!!

Tired of awful customer service from big companies? Try Michael. Live in San Jose or nearby and having PC issues cannot be solved by yourself? Come to see Michael, don’t hesitate.
For my data recovery case, the HDD needed open-​casing diagnostic check in a lab. Michael didn’t charge a single penny from me after days of testing he did since the problem could not be fixed in his place. No fix no pay. Yes, this was another living example that ‘Go to see Michael when you have problems.‘
This man is doing his small business with honesty and dignity. The price is lower than market prices, but Michael never boasts about this. He will not guarantee the things he is not capable of and customers’ experience is his bible. For this 4 star review, I was trying to be objective for his 5 star service as my problem was solved somewhere else. No more can be said about the wonderful experience, try yourself.

As annoying as I was Michael was always very patient and understanding to me. Last Month i walked in with a huge problem with my Blue Screening issue. I dropped my computer off and Michael was able to fix my computer within the week and a half and have it picked up. He also was very understanding of my budget which is even a bigger plus! Geek squad aint got nothin on him! Seriously though if you have a computer problem contact him! Im sure you wont regret it.

Great service! My computer had a blue screen of death meltdown, and Michael was able to diagnose the issue (viruses) and clean up my system. He gave me an additional virus scan software and a registry cleaner too. My laptop runs much smoother and faster now!
Michael’s prices are great and he communicated and kept me posted throughout the process. Would recommend to everyone!

I have gone to Michael for my laptop repair and services for years now and he is the only professional I count on because he is very knowledgeable and friendly. He has always been able to troubleshoot what ever issue that has arisen or just add memory to the hard drive of my laptop. He validates for parking but some days I use mass transportation and it drops me off in front of the building. On a funny note his shop is the most feng shui I have ever seen before as he has some amazing pieces of contemporary and cultural art-​something you will never see in another computer repair shop which are usually dusty and drab.

Back in August he was able to save me from losing everything stored on my Mac with a thorough clean up that had already did some damage but was able to repair and store all within an affordable price range. Last night in mid-​project my 18 month old Alienware just… turned itself off. In the past I’d have slept horribly, wondering what the heck I was going to do to get it fixed.
This time, however, I figured I had my ace-​in-​the-​hole and first thing this morning I texted Michael. He explained what the mysterious beeping the computer was doing meant (Alienware’s self diagnostic saying the issue was the video card) suggested a couple of possible fixes and talked me though them (neither worked) then talked me through pulling the graphics card which turned out to be dead — helped me figure out what new graphics card to buy, and then talked me through installing it.
End result — everything is now working fine again, project back on track, and no sleep lost; no anxiety over what to do. The ‘what to do’ question is easy to answer — Call Michael!
And here’s the amazing part — he did all of this over the freaking telephone without me having to take the machine into his office or pay for a house call.
Yeah — I know that three 5 star reviews in 4 months sounds a like there’s some graft and corruption going on — but there isn’t. Thank my lucky stars for discovering this guy — he is a jewel!

My hard drive failed on me a couple of weeks ago and I had already taken it to two other places that said that none of the data on my hdd could be recovered. I did a little research on data recovery and specialists and it said that the regular price is usually between 900‑3500. 9000 – 3500!
Luckily I took my old hard drive to Mike here at STG. The next day he calls me and says he’s able to recover the data I needed and also gave me an estimate of how much he would charge for the recovery. He works at a very fast pace because within a couple of days I was able to get all the files I needed from my old hdd back! I do a lot of video editing and it was very important to me to get all my video clips/​templates back.
His price was very reasonable because my hdd was in such bad condition, but it was really affordable for me for being a working college student. If I have any trouble with anymore computer problems in the future I am for sure taking them to Mike! He’s great at what he does and at a very affordable price!

I have taken a temp leave of absence from writing a Unilocal review (as you can see from my profile, it’s been over a year) but because i have never received such great service from an individual, I’d thought this time around someone definitely deserves some kudos.
After taking my laptop to the Apple Genius Bar, I learned that the HDD for my MacBook Pro was damaged during the Christmas Holidays! I was inches away from bringing my MacBook Pro to a local lab to retrieve my data, but I was fortunate to discover Mike via Unilocal!
Like a bozo that I am, I did not back up my data for over 6 months. My music, video’s, and photo’s were my most valuable files, and I was extremely upset and obviously worried that Mike was unable to retrieve it.
After dropping it off and a few hours later, I get a call from Mike informing me on the good news that he was able to retrieve it! For those of you familiar w data recovery, this was a huge deal as I was not required to bring my system into a lab, where it could costs as little as $ 1k for recovery.
I have had horrible experiences in the past w other electronic repair companies, and very happy to have found and met Mike! I will start recommending my family and
Friends to him. Thanks again bud!
