I believed all the marketing about this best sensor and bought it, and since then i have nothing but trouble, image is poor most of the times and the sensor are weak, they will break and wont last too long, the warranty wont cover them for any reason, I am just waiting for the last one to break to change to another company.

I have nothing but praise for a company that provides exceptional customer service. I have purchased not only digital sensors but also a CT scan from SUNI and they have always impressed me with the attention to maintaining a close relationship with their customers. I also have a SUNI-cam system and even though they are no longer carrying that particular model, they have always provided customer and technical support to my office with promptness. Further, I don’t know of any other digital radiographic company that provides superior and exceptional products for very competitive pricing. You get all of the benefits for a much more affordable platform. So great customer service, good pricing and adept, competent, reliable technical support individuals, make SUNI an obvious choice.

My experience with Suni has been very positive. The support and service you receive from Suni cannot be beat. No ongoing fees like other companies and no yearly or monthly service fees to call in and get support. Support team is very knowledgable and eager to help. They have a product that requires the least amount of radiation out of any sensor on the market which tells me that they care about the patient and are designing technologies that follow the ALARA principle. Highly Recommend Suni.

Hi, Did you know that you all are the WORST imaging company in dentistry? Actually, you may just be the WORST company in the history of dentistry altogether. Perhaps the WORST company in the history of the world. Let’s discuss why, shall we? In just three and half years since opening my first dental practice(I now have three of them), I have purchased a total of 12 Suni sensors. Now, that equates to a lot of money I’ve spent on your product, probably somewhere around $ 60,000. You’d think for that kind of money that I would’ve gotten something reliable and exceptional. Unfortunately though, that is not the case because only a few of those sensors still work. Want to guess how many of them still work, c’mon, join me! **Is it all 12? Nope, definitely not. **How about 10? Nope. **8 of them are still working? That’s a negative, buddy. **OK, I bet 6 of them are working just great? Nah, bro. Nah **What about 4? That’s a good number! You’re getting warmer **The number has gotta be 3! Do I win a prize? Sorry, still not there. **Wow, 2? Is it only 2 of them? DINGDINGDING! You got it! Congratulations! That’s right, guys! Only 17% of the products you’ve sold me actually work. 17%!! I even rounded that number up to make you feel a little better about yourselves. Like I said on twitter — you guys are crap and the products you make are crap. You’ve accepted zero responsibility for the failures of your product and you’ve continually placed the blame on my staff, saying that they likely haven’t handled the sensors properly. Just so you know, we have written procedures for handling all of our instruments and we took them straight out of your manual for the sensors. I watch my staff like a hawk, everyday and I’ve never seen a single one of them mishandle a sensor. And even if they did, your product shouldn’t be so delicate and crappy that it breaks when someone holds it or cleans it improperly. Like I said on twitter. The Planmeca sensor I’ve had for 3 years is still working just fine. It’s not my staff, its’ YOU. So, where do we go from here??? You either replace SIX of my sensors for free, overnighted to me by next Friday, or I unleash a tirade against you on the internet, the likes of which has never been seen. I will unload on you in the DentalTown forums; I will devote a blog(I’m really good at search engine optimization btw) to how awful your products are and how much you’ve ripped me off; I will take out an ad in DentalTown Magazine devoted to telling the dental community about my experience with you; I will file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection; I will sue you in whatever court my attorney deems appropriate for a defective product liability claim; I will work closely with my friends at MacPractice(they LOVE me there because they sell a good product and I regularly hype it for them) to get them to spread the word about your products to their clients; I will do EVERYTHING I can to see that you don’t continue to get away with selling people your USELESSCRAP. You have until Friday, May 3rd to send me SIX sensors for free at Rice Creek Family Dentistry. I want 3 size twos and 3 size ones. That’s it. Do that and this is over. If you don’t send the sensors to me by May 3rd, then you darn well better be prepared to BRINGIT because I can promise you that I am. Sincerely, Andrew Schweiger Managing Partner Rice Creek Family Dentistry South Lake Family Dental Carolina Smile Clinic

I have had the Suni ray(2011) system under two years. We take special care with all three sensors knowing the expense with repairs and do not use any other holders other than Troll Kimera holders which the company recommends. We had 2 sensors malfunction under normal use and never use a hemostat to hold the sensor at our office. Both sensors the company said malfunctioned for reasons other than warranty. Although disgruntled I paid $ 400 to repair the sensor seeing as it is difficult to change systems. Still under the 2 year warranty one of the sensors malfunctioned again. We sent it in repair. They returned it and said that it was working fine. It works some of the time while 2 sensors work on all the computers most of the time. Upon returning the sensor again they said that the damage was not covered under warranty again and offered two options: 1. $ 2k to fix and 1 yr limited warranty on repairs only and 2. Sensor can be replaced with a new sensor for $ 3247.50(discounted rate) and will have a 2 yr standard warranty(that obviously covers nothing). So when they received the sensor this time they said it was fine and then getting the sensor a second time without further use they«discovered» damage that voided the warranty. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I had no such issues with dexis before. Definitely think twice before using Suni ray.

I encourage anyone in the market for x-ray sensors to consider other options other than Suni because what good is a company if they do not honor their warranty. I have used Suni digital sensors for 6 years. Every 2 – 3 years they start to malfunction beyond repair. Recently, I have returned a 2 year old pedo sensor(Dr. Suni Plus) for repair since I thought I was under warranty. The warranty period is 3 years and mind you I do not use this size sensor often since I do not run a pediatric office. This was not my first Suni sensor that auto captured images hear this issue from other dentists using Suni sensors experienced similar problems. The manager at Suni, Sara told me that there was a crack inside the sensor and could not be repaired and also they could not honor the warranty because there was abuse of the sensor/hard biting causing the internal crack. I usually take great caution to protect these sensors since I am familiar with the expense. There was absolutely no crack on the casing or any indication of abuse. Sara went further on to say that even if there was no bite marks on the casing/shell there could be cracking of the internal electronics from one strong bite causing a void in the warranty. I thought she was making fun of me because after all, what good is their warranty if they can use this excuse at their digression. She did offer me a discount for the purchase of a new sensor. Being committed to Suni sensors and x-ray system from the start, I had no choice than to purchase a new one. Within the last year, they exchanged another one of my malfunctioned sensors(at a cost) for the Suni Ray line which work great so far and takes nice images at very low radiation. However, they reduced their warranty from 3 yeas to 2 years which concerns me. Anyone can feel free to contact me if any questions regarding my experience.
