I find this location 5 star worthy. They never make me feel uncomfortable with returns like other children stores(ahem…Gymboree)…nor do they give you a hard time if you are exchanging a gift without a receipt. My son recently turned one and like many kids his age he gets an abundance of wonderful gifts but in the wrong size, duplicate style or there isn’t quite a need for the gift itself yet. I have 3 growing nephews – in other words – lots of hand me downs to choose from so when my son received a pair of brand new Stride Rite shoes in a size 6 I knew I would have to exchange it since he already had 3 very nice pairs of hand me down shoes in a 6. Nonetheless, I almost kept the pair of shoes anyhow because the gift didn’t have a receipt and I just dread returns –particularly, returns without a receipt. :/ I’ve had my fair shares of awful sales associates at the register who treat you like a criminal when you announce you are sans receipt. My husband had to go to Nordstrom Rack and so I decided since I’ll have him as back up(he’s actually the nice one) I’ll just go ahead and work up my courage to walk in and do this exchange. No issues whatsoever! :D The sales associate was so warm and friendly and very professional. And even though I was purchasing a larger size so he can wear later she brought out a size 6 as well for him to try it on now to see if it’s compatible with his wide feet. :) Love this place! Definitely worth the money!!!

We just walked out of this store and I just have to say that Yvonne was awesome. We went here to buy our one year olds first pair of shoes and were greeted by her happy and cheerful attitude. It got busy and she was still able to give everyone fast and individual attention. We will definitely be back for his next pair!

The minute I walked in with my boys… the friendly staff measured their feet. They also made a suggestion for comfort and weren’t pushy at all. Having a 2 and 3 year old, the staff didn’t seem to matter that they were running in around and having fun. They played hide and go seek with them, which gave me an opportunity to select some shoes. I happen to be there on a day or was buy 1 get 50% off a second pair. In total…$ 52 for 2-pairs. Also, I didn’t realize there was a stride rite store in the outlets. I won’t be making that drive to oak ridge mall for shoes anymore. I was very pleased with this location.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! What a horrible experience my husband, son, and I experienced here yesterday! We walked in, found the shoes we liked, clerk measured our sons foot and said he needs size 6(but he wears size 5 so I wanted to get 5.5 for the time being). She brought us 5 pairs of different shoes and in size 6 or 5 not 5.5 like we asked. She said they did not have 5.5 in the style we wanted, so my husband looked at the display sneaker, and tells her«this is 5.5, can you please find the other half of it?» She tells us «NO, IT’S LOST, HAPPENSHEREALLTHETIME, WHYDOYOUNEED5.5? IT’S TOOSMALLFORYOURSONANYWAYS»!! We both got angry and told her look again in the back! while she went to look, i was browsing the boxes of shoe’s outside ANDFOUNDTHEOTHERSHOE! She came back and was very mad ATUS for finding the shoe ourselves! The manager, heard the whole conversation and saw everything that happened(she pretended to be on her computer the whole 10 min.). What kind of business is this OR better yet WHATKINDOFEMPLOYEESDOTHEYHIRE?

I really like this particular store, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes the store gets busy and overrun, but overall, it’s a fine shopping experience, and the shoes are super cute. My only problem with Stride Rite in general is the pricing. Anyone who shops for kids’ shoes knows kids outgrow them quickly, and Stride Rite-brand shoes are are on the pricey side at $ 40+ per pair; however, you are paying for better quality than cheaply made shoes. Currently, I really really like the Vroom and Star Wars boys’ line sizes 8 – 12(also a toddler line for smaller sizes).

I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have any reviews yet. I think it is a cute shoe store, quality is great and customer service is perfect. My kids love to shop here!
