I had a problem with a reservation and instead of rectifying the problem, the service representative argued with me back and forth via email as to why she was right and I was wrong. Not only that, but initially when I tried to book the reservation over the phone I was rushed off and basically told that I should do this online, instead of calling. Small selection of luxury vehicles. Not an Executive level type of service. Would only recommend if you’re looking to deal with attitude and mediocre vehicles. To top it off the website is extremely cluttered. Doesn’t look professional.

My dad and I took South Bay Sedan and Limo for the first time from Palo Alto to San Jose airport for our Xmas trip to Maui this year. It was the first time we booked a limo service and we could not have been happier with the service. Our driver, Navi was excellent! He was on time, early even, and took the best of care with us picking us up from home and driving us to the airport. And then he recognized us coming home and down the escalator at the airport after seeing us once in the dark on the previous trip! What amazing service! We were extremely happy with South Bay Sedan and limo service and it was due especially to Navi’s care and attention to detail. He got us to our destination and back home again after a very tiring trip. We would definitely book with this company again in the future and would recommend Navi as a driver to anyone who asks!

I use these guys all the time but what got me to finally write a Unilocal review for them was that Brad from South Bay sedan was amazing. He couldn’t accommodate our booking and so he called multiple other places to find another limo service who could. Really helped out in a pinch and I’m grateful for such wonderful service. It breeds customer loyalty. Thank you Brad!

After a few bad experiences with ride sharing programs I decided to give South Bay Sedan a shot. Several rides later I am hooked. Their service is top notch and worth every penny. I had a different driver each time but they were all consistently early for my pick up, polite, and drove like true professionals. There were refreshments and even hand sanitizer in the car. This is a big help when you have been traveling for a while and are feeling tired and worn out. It’s all the little things that they do that make the experience that much greater. Don’t let their listed hours fool you either. I have had them pick me up at the oddest hours without any hesitation. You don’t get that when you ask your friends or family to drive you to the airport at 3am on a Tuesday.

Had a very early flight and had no doubt that these guys would come through. I’ve used this car service now 5 times and we had Navi this morning whom we believe we had the last trip. He is always punctual, professional, friendly and makes this review very easy! Thank you Navi for always providing a wonderful experience!
Overall I love this car service: the prices are reasonable, 15% gratuity is included which is nice, and the cars are always clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

I booked online for car service to and from SFO for 2 people. Both drivers (Sanjay and Jim) were courteous and professional, and their cars were very clean and comfortable. Both also texted prior to pickup times to let us know they were nearby. Jim texted his license plate so that I could spot his car more easily at the airport, which made finding him less stressful after a 5 hour flight from the East Coast arriving late at night. It was a wonderful service from start to finish and I am recommending the company to friends and colleagues.

I did not book the service… was merely a VERY happy passenger and felt a compliment was greatly due to the service and our thoughtful driver, Navi.
It was a 50^th birthday date up to San Francisco…(from Almaden area of San Jose). Most of us were meeting at the birthday gals home, with plans to depart at 4:30. How refreshing and lovely to see the car already there, at the home, at 4:25…air on, waiting for us to gather. While the group gathered, he patiently waited for us and was johnny on the spot when we did come to the car. Professionally dressed, he greeted us each with a warm handshake and a personal introduction… from then on, he never addressed any of us without using our names. Navi, («N», as we called him!) was personable, polite, patient and… FUNNY! Great sense of humor. While he wasn’t IN our conversations, he did choose perfectly timed moments to inject a funny and appropriate one liner! (made us all all laugh AND made him feel more a part of the group) ((we would be with him all night, after all…) We made one stop to pick up another gal for the date and he was very good to consider rules of her complex and make sure she was greeted and well seated as we were. Another stop at a nearby restaurant for about an hour and then, off to the city! Navi had radio to our liking (Go Giants!), water for everyone and more if needed… in his very nice, clean and comfortable Denali! He dropped us at a very safe intersection near as possible to the Theater in SF with very good instructions how to find him after the play.
That’s the only hiccup in the evening… not Navi’s blunder… ours… we took a wrong turn leaving the theater and just got completely turned around and couldn’t find the pick up location. Now, imagine 4 (older ish) ladies out lost on the streets of SF, each google mapping ourselves, arguing whether to turn right or left, dodging the street panhandlers, with rising concern (fears?) that we can’t find our car… when out of nowhere! like a super hero, Navi WALKS up behind us, phone to ear, (he’d been calling the leader of us) and personally escorts us to the car. Our hero! He’d been driving near the pick up location, looking FOR us, spotted us on the street and came to our rescue… on foot… WHO does that??? Navi did and we were all very happy to see him… tired bodies, tired feet and ready for the comfy ride home.

This review is over-​due as we’ve been using their services for several years now.
This is the only car service company we will ever use since we found them. The online service is a breeze to use and if there are any complicated trip details their customer service associates are easy to contact and will handle the reservation over the phone.
The drivers are always on schedule and very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They are also very safe drivers which I really appreciate!

I had the same experience as C.L. Reserved the hummer limo online due to it being so cheap even though I knew it was too good to be true. But all the other prices looked accurate. When I called they said they had emailed me to let me know that the price wasn’t correct. They had not. Nothing in my spam folder. Seriously, fix your website, it’s not that hard. That’s just ridiculous.

I’ve been using South Bay Sedan exclusively as my car service now for a solid year. I have my favorite driver, but every single person I’ve encountered from that company is top notch. Always on time. Always courteous. Vehicles are very well maintained. Highly recommend!

This review is ONLY for their customer service, not the actual service, which I will NEVER use since the woman on the phone was rude!
I went online through their reservation and quote page yesterday, which in all fairness, was pretty easy to use and intuitive. When the search yielded 3 quotes, with one of them being a 20 passenger Hummer Limo for 6 hours at $ 380.75, I knew it was too good to be true. I promptly called the number to confirm… the woman on the phone told me annoyingly, «If you are referring to the Hummer limo, the rate is not right…» So, out of the 3 quotes, 2 of them are incorrect — The Hummer ended up being about 4x as much as the online quote and the other one that was a 20 passenger Escalade for $ 761.50 is about couple of hundred dollars more. I then suggested, very nicely, «it would probably be a good idea to correct the online pricing so people don’t get confused.» To which she replied, «that’s why they are called quotes.»
Seriously?! Why would I use a service when the person is firstly so annoyed to talk to me, and secondly, instead of an apology for your FALSE advertisement, talk down to me with an attitude by saying, «that’s why they are called quotes.» It’s as if I tell you that I will sell an apple for $ 5, but when you called, I told you that’s a quote, it’s actually $ 20.
I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to experience/​review their actual service. But why would I use a service when customer service is so poor?

Here’s what I wrote prior, just over 5 years ago; terrific, 5 stars.
Last night changed all that with a scruffy driver, who arrived 10 minutes late with a scruffy car and proceeded to take the long way to my house, after I’d been flying 1.5 days no less. His plan to fix it was to drive off in yet another good chase, which i Promptly stopped him from doing, i was seriously thinking of ditching the car and my 4 pieces of luggage, when my freeway exit came into sight. So I got out, luggage and all, and walked a block so he wouldn’t know/​access where my family and I live. Never an apology. instead South Bay Sedan’s response was to deduct the $ 15 or so service charge and offer never to pair me with that driver again… so generous… and so ill-​advised. I’ll never ride with or recommend them again. No one needs harrowing experiences, let alone at $ 100/​pop.

I’m back with another great experience with South Bay Sedan & Limo Service.
This time the trip was from Campbell to SJC and then the return from SJC to Campbell. The trip to the airport was very much like my original review of this company. The driver (so sorry, I forgot his name) was very personable, the car plush and clean. I felt the price was very reasonable for much the same reasons I posted in my earlier review.
The trip home was just as nice. As soon as I got off the plane and turned my phone on, I had a text message from Michael with instructions on what to do. I texted back when I had my bag and was just barely outside when he pulled up. I didn’t even need to give him directions to my home; he had obviously looked it up prior to picking me up.

I travel a lot and like the professionalism that typically comes with the drivers in this company. The drivers are usually courteous, friendly and most importantly, they are on time. There was, however, one driver who was fairly new to the company, who upon picking me up, had to turn off the highway after exiting the airport to check for directions to my home (he did not use GPS) which took an additional 15 minutes of travel time which I did not appreciate. However, the other drivers made up for it with their excellent service.
The cars are really clean, does not smell and the AC/​heat works 100% of the time that I’ve traveled. You can also book and pay online which is a huge bonus at the end of a long, long trip. I also like the fact that they have bottled water available for you in the backseat when they pick you up.

I have only used South Bay Sedan to take me to the airport & never on the way home for fear of a mix-​up.
My experience with South Bay Sedan has been top notch. They have always arrived on time. The drivers are courteous & the cars are clean & comfortable. I appreciate the water & magazines in the back seat & the ability to control the heat/​cool from the back.
They do charge extra for early morning/​late night transportation. I found this out when I got the bill for a 4 am pick-​up. I keep this in mind for future travel.

I have been using their service for over 2 Years: after using a string of shady services (over billing, late pickups, dirty cars, rude drivers) it was refreshing to find South Bay.
These guys are always early, have courteous drivers, their cars are clean/​new, and very reasonably priced.

I have been using this company for about 10 years now through my work. We bring in some important people in and fine people at South Bay Sedan have always been online, professional, and have always provided high quality service. They monitor flights so if someone is late or delayed, they have it handled even without you knowing it. I would recommend South Bay Sedan to any business and certainly they would be my personal go to place. Prices are reasonable and getting a quote a reservation in is quick with their new website option. Thanks to them, all my guests have started on the right foot when visiting.

All summer long I have been working on a big case in San Jose. Before the trial is finalized, I need to be at a meeting in Atherton (about 30 minutes from San Jose). The meeting is going to take a few hours and I have a partner who needs to leave immediately from the meeting and go to the Airport. I check out Unilocal.See good reviews for South Bay and give them a call.
South Bay immediately provided me with two quotes. One for a pickup and a drop off and then a pickup and drop off. I believe these are called transfers. And the other quote for hourly service. I decided to go with the hourly service.
Our driver, Brian, was absolutely fantastic. He picked us up on time. We drove to Atherton and I briefed him on what I anticipated would happen. We would need to leave the meeting at about 6:30 or 7 so we could take my partner to the airport to catch her plane which was leaving at 9:05.
At 6:28 I took a look at my phone. I see a text from Brian. He has checked on the flight and notified me that it is two hours late. Wow. What great service that he had checked on the flight for us. I don’t think I would have and, had we left the meeting early only to have my partner wait at the airport an extra two hours, well let’s just say I would have had «heck» to pay because I had not checked on the flight already.
Because of the delay, we were able to stay at the meeting longer than we had planned. Brian and the South Bay team were extremely professional. I thank them for their assistance and will call them the next time I need transportation in the area.

We decided to book a car to SFO for the first time for a big trip, and we were a little nervous because we hadn’t used the service before.
They were fantastic. The drivers were there earlier than necessary, and the trip to the airport was pleasant and smooth. The cars were clean and in good shape, and they had plenty of amenities for the ride such as water and reading material.
We had a slight issue with the billing on the return trip, but the company cleared it up very quickly and issued a fast refund. Minor mistakes happen, but the service quality more than makes up for it.
Would definitely recommend them, and we plan to use them again.

I have used South Bay Sedan many times over the past year for airport rides during business trips. I have been so impressed with their service. The dispatch and drivers are dependable, friendly, and communicative. As soon as I arrange a ride I receive an email confirmation. They have never been late, which is extremely important whether I’m going to or coming from an airport.
The billing system is also extremely easy. My credit card is charged after the trip and a tip is added on. So no fumbling with cards in the car and no awkward tip interactions.
The cars are clean and they always provide water, gum, and mints. Really good company.
