I like their style; clean and professional with a medical feel. Although a tad dry and on the expensive side, the buds were hearty.

I know there’s a whole bunch of different dispensaries out there, but this place is my go-​to spot. It’s tucked away in the business district of San Jose (well, that’s what I call it) and there’s enough parking spaces for everyone! When you walk in, it’s a very peaceful and welcoming place. The employees are there to help you and that’s what they do. If you come in fairly frequently, they know you on a first name basis when you walk in the door.
The lobby has a couch and chairs to sit, magazines to read, and they also have a separate room in the lobby with a massage chair, a water fountain, ambient music and some water if you ever need to hydrate.
It’s always clean here, which is what I like the most about it. Cleanliness says a lot about a place, in my opinion. Another great thing is that I’ve never had to wait more than 5 mins in the lobby to get in. When you go in, they have all their stock laid out for you from buds to edibles, drinks, dabs, papers, etc. They pretty much know everything behind the counter, and what’s coming in soon. They have deals during the week so if you like something more than another, you can get a discount on whatever it may be during the week. The layout of the place is very simple and tranquil, no unnecessary clutter and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
Overall, my favorite spot to go to!

Cleanest dispensary ever and when you walk in its like you stepped into pure «Peace». I love it. Staff are genuine people who you feel you could spend time with anywhere else in the world and have a great conversation. They don’t push any products ever. I love this too because they let you browse over their selection and if you ask for an opinion that’s when they’ll offer it.
They don’t have the largest selection of bud or products but its all great stuff and each is rated and effective. They provide various discounts most days of the weak and even offer a special regular discount to those who can prove they don’t have the «means» of others to pay (this is part of their charity and giving back to the community).
This place is tucked away in a maze of same looking buildings so def. map it out before you go. I’m a big fan of this establishment and its owners/​staff.

I’ve been meaning to share my praise toward this collective. They’ve got some knowledgeable bud tenders who can also colorfully describe their own personal experience about some of their strain’s effects and impact.
This easily sets the tone on how I may select which meds are appropriate for me at that given time.
Waits are no more than 5 mins; sometimes I’m even in/​out in less time. The lounge area with seats are fairly ‘Zen’, however, because I’m never waiting, I have never utilized it.
Powerful & effective strains, constant cycling/​weekly deals & discounts, and friendly staff has made this my No. 1 spot to visit.

This was one of the nicest, cleanest, and most professional dispensaries I’ve ever seen. The waiting room is dimly lit, with 2 massage chairs, a waterfall wall, water cooler dispenser, couch, and magazines. The front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful.
The dispensary itself has 3 counters for sales. It’s kind of a small room, but in the room, there are clones, a huge mother plant (I’d never seen one before), 4 «shelves» of flower buds, concentrates, a refrigerator STOCKED with edibles, and some prerolls.
They have 2 main categories of buds: taxed or tax-​free. Within those 2 categories are 4 additional, top shelf to bottom shelf. Each has 1 to 4 varieties available to choose from.
There is also a «Budlets» jar, which is filled with small budlets and sold for $ 20 an eighth. Amazing!!!
PROS: 4 gram eighths! Mix and match sampler option! Very professional, friendly, and helpful staff. Clean, organized, welcoming.
CONS: Not the best variety of great buds.
There is only one other dispensary in San Jose which I prefer, and it’s only because a guy that works there is SUPER hot. But, since I’m not smoking him, I’ll probably be coming back to SB Apothecary more often.

I just wanted to mention how amazing their extracts are. I use ear wax, when available, and hash, as well as bud. Also, Indica tablets. I have very bad migraines, and different combinations of stuff work at different times. These extracts are potent, and have come the closest to really helping me get a handle on my pain. That is not to say they totally have eradicated my pain, but it is better than any of the addictive opiates, that I would never be prescribed anyway.
They have a lot of candy, soda, edibles, keef, etc. They have really expanded their inventory since I started going here.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is one of the 10 apothecaries given a license by Santa Clara County.
