Established in 2012.

SMA Reserves was founded by Erik Sundquist and David Hodges in 2012. Both Erik and David had been working in the industry for several years when the opportunity present itself for them to start their own company. SMA Reserves has thrived in it’s first year, completing Reserve Studies for hundreds of associations throughout California.

SMA prides itself in working closely with managers, board members and owners to establish and accurate, easy to read reserve study report that can actually be used by the association. Our reports are a financial tool that will help homeowners associations throughout California ensure financial security for years to come!
