Select Staffing – San Jose

Horrible help here! Rude people and plenty of attitude :(I wouldn’t ever use this place again. Horrible on pay ! They B.S. You and have excuses on why it’s taking so long.

I had received a call from Select Staffing back in September 2015 regarding a position they thought I would work well in and be a good fit for. A few months of interviews, I got the job January 2016! Thanks to their support and coaching through the entire process, they helped me find a position that was/​is a great career move!
All three of the ladies have been great! Very friendly and professional.

One word for Select Staffing… Wow!
Six months ago, I was fresh out of school and desperately searching for a job when I received a call from a recruiter at Select. At the time, I was happy with anything above minimum wage since I had two small kids to feed and no work, so when I received the call from Select I was ecstatic. When the recruiter told me it was a staffing firm, I’ll admit I was disappointed based on what I’d heard about «temp agencies», but boy did Select change that.
From the moment I stepped into the San Jose office, I felt it was a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. I was cheerfully greeted by Henna at the front desk and Alejandra also greeted me even though she was busy when I walked in. My interview started right on time with Henna who was very polite and direct, then after the interview I was guided through the new hire packet and safety video which took about a half hour. Within a week, Select had found me a full-​time, long-​term opportunity.
The women in this office are all very pleasant, sweet people who care a great deal about their associates. I was a bit wary because I’d thought it was just a «temp agency», but Select Staffing is so much more than that.
My assignment was the perfect fit for me, I’ve never had any payroll issues, and any concerns that I’ve had while working with Select were resolved quickly and easily. Over all, Select Staffing has blown my expectations out of the water. I walked into Select Staffing looking for any job, but instead they helped me find a career that I love.
