Well, I can say a lot of nice things about my experience with Dr. Feldman and his office. And there will be words about high professionalism, friendly environment, attention to every small case and details. And much, much more. But in one phrase I would say: if you have a problem with your eyes and you didn’t schedule an appointment with Dr. Feldman yet — you don’t care about your eyes. If you are looking for the best, call the office right now.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Feldman and staff! Dr. Feldman provides quality eye care with great attention to detail. I’ve trusted my and my family’s eyes to Dr. Feldman and staff for the last 25 years and they have never let me down. Service is fast and professional.
Office staff is fantastic! Pilar does an outstanding job helping you get perfectly fitted glasses and find frames that suit your style, needs, and price range. She understands that if you see glasses as jewelry for your face, she’ll hook you up with an awesome flattering pair for your facial features. She really has a talent for picking the best pair of frames and lenses for your face. Over the years I have had many compliments on how beautiful my glasses are and they are all thanks to Pilar’s good taste and help in selecting stylish frames. And, if you see glasses as a necessity, and you want the cheapest pair, no frills, to get the job done she can do that too. They have a wide selection of the latest and greatest designer frames.
During eye exams with Dr. Feldman, he checks EVERYTHING! It is a comprehensive exam, not like the one I got at Kaiser when they rushed me through in 10 minutes. With my prescription from Dr. Feldman, I can see great!
Any time I need repairs they are quick to help and fix-​and usually for free! Just this week my husband’s frames broke and they replaced them for free. No muss no fuss.
They carefully explain all charges and take VSP. They also validate parking! This is a trustworthy practice. They have always provided me and my family quality care and service.

Dr. Feldman is a craftsman and a perfectionist which is a perfect combination in an eyecare professional! He’s an outstanding doctor with a wonderful staff. I’ve been seeing him for 20 years and would never go anywhere else. If you need vision care, this is the place!

I just moved to San Jose from Reading, Pennsylvania, and I needed an optometrist ASAP because I needed to renew my contact prescription. The friendly office staff scheduled me, checked on my insurance, followed up to get the information they needed to make the appointment smooth.
I saw Dr. Wong who was very thorough, friendly, and knowledgable.
The whole staff was also very kind to my 4 year old who came with me. I especially appreciated that.
I would recommend this office and especially Dr. Wong.

My husband had a tall order and wanted the works with his prescription Oakley sunglasses. Oscar did a fantastic job making sure all the details are understood, warranties explained, and expectations are set. The staff in this office are true professionals, and we knew that our order was being processed to our specifications. Will definitely come back again!

Minimal wait time and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Nice location right next to my work.
Contact lens exam fees are exorbitant but it seems like every optometrist charges this fee now. It’s really an unfair way to make customers be forced to pay when otherwise their insurance would’ve covered everything.
The industry needs to stop doing this. I’m not dinging Scott’s business for it but it’d be nice if they’d consider removing or at least reducing this fee. They won’t give you an Rx without taking the exam.

My wife went here for a new evaluation and contacts and glasses. Never been there before. I went with her. She was as happy as she could be with the whole experience. The service was great, they were knowledgeable, and friendly in a sincere way. Just a great experience from start to finish, I don’t know how it could have been any better. She says she just feels so lucky that she chose this place.

Been coming here for about 8 years — I was lucky enough to find Dr. Feldman when I first located to San Jose, and he has honestly been the first optometrist I could ever trust. Nothing but good things to say about this office and the staff. Should have written this review long ago.
Dr. Feldman really listens to the patient’s needs. I am super sensitive to changes in vision, can tell even the slightest prescription change, have a bad family history with eyesight, and am devastated whenever a brand of contacts I have been using has been discontinued. Dr. Feldman has stuck with me through all of it and has always been willing to make changes for my comfort. He is super friendly and funny as well — your appointment will be an upbeat and positive experience.
Oscar has a good eye for glasses that will suit your face and style, and is knowledgeable about the products and brands. I’ll credit him with helping me pick out the first pair of glasses I ever willingly went out in public with. My only critique is that this office does not carry Silhouettes. Pilar and Judy are great as well, they have always been very sweet and helpful.

I’ve been going to Dr. Feldman for years. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a new optometrist. The examinations are comfortable and fun. He’s great about answering questions and providing recommendations. Super cool guy. The staff is also very friendly and professional. They have a nice selection of spectacles and sunglasses too. 5 stars all the way!

Love, love, love this office! Front desk, assistants and doctors are all friendly and professional. They plan their appointment times well so there’s never a wait. The exams are thorough, explanations are given, and they don’t waste your time. I recommend anyone who tells me they need an optometrist to go here, and they are always happy they did!

I really enjoyed going, I know weird because who enjoys going to an Optometrist. The staff, the location, the office and the doctor were just all amazing and it was a comforting atmosphere. I was nervous because I didn’t know what to expect but it was amazing. I was late for my appointment and the staff called to see where I was but I got time mixed up and they still were able to get me in!

Great atmosphere !! the staff is so nice and there to answer any question you have for them. Dr. Feldman is a down to earth person easy to talk to you can tell he cares for his patients i will never go to another Dr. im staying put LOL

My husband broke his glasses the morning of a big tradeshow. Located downtown, staying at a hotel and no spare glasses he was to man a tradeshow booth at the McHenry convention center. Panicked, we called Dr Feldman’s office and they said come right over. He walked in at 9 AM and the glasses were fixed in 5 minutes! He was able work the tradeshow because of Dr Feldman’s quick and efficient work. He saved what could have been a disastrous day! Thank you!

Dr. Scott Feldman has a fabulous little business running here with great service professionals to help you through the process of getting an eye exam. They are responsive, helpful, honest, and will go out of their way to make things right. Dr. Feldman does s thorough exam and goes over all questions. He is straightforward and smart, which makes me feel comfortable. His office offers lots of assistance when choosing glasses, and they also validate parking in the garage underneath. Glad to have an optometrist I can trust!

First, I will say that our entire family has been seen by Dr. Feldman and his staff for over ten years. We return, because Dr. Feldman is great. Oscar and Pilar, are amazing at assisting you at picking the correct frame for your face, and fitting you.
The biggest complaint that I have, is that in this day and age of high tech performance, communication, delivery, etc… They are great at reminding you when your appointment is due, and getting you in the office, and billing you, but not so great about getting your glasses to you once you order them… Expect to wait on average a two week to three weeks…

I have been making yearly visits to Dr. Feldman’s office since the late ‘90s, and am happy with him and with his team’s services. As I don’t have any basis for comparison, I’m giving him a 4 of 5 stars, on the off-​chance that another optometrist might be better. But so far, I have no complaints (although parking in the garage under his building can be difficult to find… I would suggest looking in the multistory garage under Scott’s Seafood).

I’ve had VSP insurance for about two years now but never used it. I never had eye insurance prior so I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve been in need of new glasses for awhile but was worried about the price. I usually get my glasses from Lens Crafters. My last pair, though designer, were like $ 450! I took a chance and with the combination of the online list of VSP in-​network doctors and Unilocal’s reviews and picked Dr. Feldman.
I called the office and made an appointment for my husband and I. I wanted them back to back but they were booked up. So I went in first for my appointment and came back a week later for his. Which ended up being a great idea because it gave me time to shop around and try on glasses at Lens Crafters and Costco. I found a pair of Ray Ban’s at Lens Crafters and was considering going with those without the VSP discount. I’m glad I didn’t because while waiting for my husband I had time to try a lot more frames and found a better pair. I ordered Calvin Klein frames which were pricier than the Ray Ban’s but ended up being less expensive with the VSP discount. I saved well over $ 300 and paid almost half the price I did for my last pair from Lens Crafters.
Dr. Feldman is a really nice guy with lots of personality. Within seconds you feel comfortable with him. My husband said the same thing. I knew my current lenses were incorrect and he told me exactly why. I’m confident that my new pair will be correct.
The whole office is super nice! It just seems like everyone there truly gets along and it shows. They are very efficient. They answered all my questions about insurance like it was their immediate priority. I wish I could remember the name of the optician because she too was awesome! I’m very indecisive and she helped me by telling me which ones don’t work for me and why.
I’m still waiting for my new glasses but I’m sure I’ll love them.
Parking was easy, the entrance to the underground structure is across the street from Pizza Chicago. At the end of the appointment they give you validation cards.
