Scent Tek is an independent bed bug inspection service using Sherlock Hounds – dogs trained at The Florida Canine Academy’s BedBug Dog progam – the most widely recognized program in the United States. We specialize in finding bed bugs and partnering with Bay Area exterminators to rid your home of these troublesome pests. We are not an exterminator and are not affiliated with one, which can leave you confident that our assessment is both true and accurate. Established in 2009.

Established in 2009 Bed bugs scare people. The most difficult aspect of dealing with bed bugs is finding the hiding spots. While working in the pest industry I observed specialists looking for bed bugs and doing a good job. Then I observed the dogs performing the same inspection. WOW. What a difference.

The dogs can inspect a typical room in minutes with 95% accuracy. The same room inspected properly by a specialist (man or woman) should take at least one hour and with an accuracy rate of 30−50%.

The light went on. Scent Tek was founded. We spared no expense to develop the most advanced inspection service in Northern California. We make every effort to provide same day service.
