History

Established in 1972.

The Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose, California is managed and operated by San Jose Theaters, a division of Team San Jose. It hosts major performances from Broadway San Jose, Ballet San Jose and other organizations.

Built in 1972 by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, it offers large windows throughout the entryways, providing plenty of natural light and allowing spectacular views of downtown San Jose.

The Center for the Performing Arts is available to rent for performances, meetings, corporate events and more.
