Had a great first appointment today with Audra! The salon is modern and very stylish and there is a great vibe with all the stylists. Audra was very personable and professional and made me feel very comfortable. This place is the total package!

Salon Mesh was very disappointing. On the day of my appointment my nanny was sick and so I had to work from home to take care of my 2 year old son. I made sure he was fed and tired by the time we arrived at Salon Mesh for my lunch time appointment. He was all set up in his napping stroller with an educational video to watch on my iPad. He was tired and ready for a nap. When I arrived they immediately turned me away stating that they have a ‘no kids’ policy in the salon unless they are getting their hair cut. I have never felt discriminated against because I am a mother until now. I was very surprised and saddened.

Amy Jo is the best! After searching for a hairstylist and colorist I really liked, I found Amy Jo. Her pricing is competitive, she’s great at what she does, and is fun to chat with as well. Love her!

This review is LONG over due for AmyJo. There are simply not enough great things to say about her as a stylist. I have been going to her for over five years and have referred her to everyone I know– we call her the hair Doctor. She is thoughtful, funny, and extremely on point with making everyone look beautiful. I’ve followed her from a previous salon and it is safe to say, I’d do it again!

AmyJo is amazing! She takes time to listen while I explain what I want my hair to look like. I’ve been going to her for about 3 years, and always walk away happy!

I have been going to Jen for years. never fails, I get compliments after every visit from random strangers. She’s amazing with her cuts, colors, high lights… you name it! Absolutely love her magical touch!

I love my new cut! Wendy gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a really long time. She made me feel very confident in my decision to go bold and shared various techniques on how to style me hair. I went from having a medium bob, to a short asymmetrical bob with an undercut (shaved on the right side to the nape of my neck). Wendy truly understands different textures of hair and was able to manipulate my hair so that I could achieve my desired look. I normally have very straight (Asian) hair that lacks volume, but by the time she was done, I had more texture and volume, which makes getting ready in the morning now very easy. I’m all about the low maintenance cut! I highly recommend seeing Wendy if you’re interested in a bold change– she’s your girl!

This review is mainly for Vince who knows how to cut and color fine hair like a magician! I have followed Vince for many years (over 15) and he does not disappoint. He always keeps on top of the latest and greatest products and has given me some really good product recommendations. He also always explains how to use the products so you can recreate your style at home. Recently he used a new color on me that is fantastic! It DOES NOT fade! I am in love with it. If you want a color specialist or just an updated cut you need to see Vince! He can transform you like no else can.

Had my first hair appointment at Salon Mesh with Wendy yesterday and she did an amazing job! I have A LOT of gray and she took the time to talk me through exactly what I wanted for a color and a haircut. She literally stopped me in my train of thoughts and speaking when she was washing my hair. She massaged my scalp so good I would of thought I was in heaven! I’m super picky and I walked out of there with the best color match and a great haircut! I couldn’t of been happier. Plus Salon Mesh is an adorable salon, comfortable, clean and they carry great products too. Thanks Wendy! I’ll be back!

Pearl at Salon Mesh rocks the blondes!
I’ve been seeing Pearl for a few years and love that she can take my drab ashy brown hair to a gorgeous blonde. Her highlight technique is the best I’ve had. She also gives a fantastic haircut. Over the past couple of years I’ve grown out my hair and she’s been really good about listening and not cutting too much, just enough to keep my hair looking shiny and healthy. She’s friendly, professional and super accommodating with scheduling, seriously she’s the best! I love her spot at Mesh in the heart of Willow Glen… so convenient. Oh, Pearl has also given my husband and son great guy haircuts… I highly recommend her!

I brought my tween son here for an «updated» hair cut, it was near my nail salon so I thought I would give it a try. We saw Pearl and she did a great job, totally understood what my son wanted. We have been back twice now and we will definitely keep seeing Pearl. She is great and the location is perfect for me.

Jennifer is the absolute best. She’s fast, a brilliant stylist and very welcoming. Go see her!!!

Pearl Norton is a fantastic hair colorist/​stylist. Her level of customer service is wonderful; she takes her time with me and I never feel rushed. Having her cut/​color/​style my hair is truly a pampering experience. She is a very knowledgeable hair stylist and more importantly, I trust her to do my hair. When I first went to her I was very particular about the color that I was looking for and she really listened, discussed it with me a bit and gave me the color that I wanted. She spends a good deal of time listening to what I want and talking through different subtle options for my hair before cutting. If you’re looking for a new and great hairdresser, Pearl is great!

If I could give more then 5 stars I would.
First let me start by saying I am super picky about my hair and I don’t travel around looking for new stylist to try to manage this mane. I have been going to some one for over 5 yrs and just last week, for the first time, I left his chair unhappy with my cut.
Fast forward…
Jennifer Rogers (stylist at Salon Mesh) is a great friend of mine. She knows I’m picky about my hair but she also knew I needed something done before going to my husbands retirement party. Rule #1: don’t have your friend cut or color your hair. You still need to be friends with this person when their done. I completely disregarded my own rule and went for it. Jen took me in, sat me down and started cutting my hair dry! Rule #2: don’t cut my hair dry! I literally sat there and watched her do this with my nails digging into the chair while I smiled politely. I then told her I wanted my highlights to look natural. I have dark brown hair so I didn’t want orange streaks in my hair. We all know what those streaks look like. She colored, toned and highlighted. She blew it out and styled it, spun me around and I was ABSOLUTELY AMAZED! Jen did a phenomenal job. I felt bad for the pressure I put her in too. She knew I was nervous, on the verge of taking a Xanax. I even threatened a bad Unilocal review, LOL. I have received so many compliments on my hair from the color to the cut! I trusted in my friend and it payed off.
She will forever cut my hair and be my friend!!!

This review is for Pearl. She is a hair dresser that loves my curls, and in return… my curls love me! I have very curly, frizz-​prone, blonde hair. Pearl really embraces my curls. I have been to many hair dressers; many of them unsure of how to handle my curls, and frequently straightening my hair. Not Pearl. She gives an incredible curly girl hair cut, does incredible with color, then teaches me how to style. She uses a hair clipping technique when styling that makes the curls look frizz-​free, styled, and beautiful.
Coming to Pearl is always an uplifting and positive experience for me and my curls! Pearl is a one-​of-​a-​kind hair dresser that makes my curls come alive! (in a good way!)

Love love this place! Amy Jo is fantastic! I love my ombré color and she listen to what you really need and great personality! Call in advance can be hard to get in! But worth it!

Its always challenging to find the right hairstylist when you move to a new city. I’ve been seeing AmyJo for some time now. She is so sweet and super knowledgable about hair [color, cut.]. She takes the time to listen, discuss the options and gives enough input so the right hair decision is reached. Just a great experience with her every time! I do wish she took later in the day appointments.

I decided I was overdue for a haircut and dye, and decided to use Unilocal to find a new hair salon. I came across Salon Mesh, and they were able to fit me in the same day. I was lucky to be assigned to Katie. Katie gave me the best haircut I have ever been given! I have naturally curly hair that just kind of hangs, unless I spend tons of time on it. Katie gave me a cut that has lots of pretty layers and bounce. I absolutely love it and I’ve received tons of compliments on it!
I also really liked the feel of Salon Mesh. It doesn’t feel overly frou frou, and it has a very comfortable atmosphere.

This salon is great but this review is really all about Wendy, my stylist.
I went to another stylist and Wendy’s former salon who wasn’t talkative but very proficent. I watched as two of Wendy’s clients from completely different walks of life had a blast with her. It was like they were hanging out with a long lost friend. I booked my next appointment with Wendy and that was two years ago.
In all the time I have been Wendy’s client I have always had great service, she was slightly delayed once, only fifteen minutes, and she texted me a heads up so I spent the extra time shopping nearby. She is so much fun and I always have a great time and end up with amazing hair. Her prices are very reasonable and she is always giving me little tips and tricks to make my hair healthier.
Wendy rocks!!!

Ok, ok… I’ll be the first dude to Unilocal Mesh. I get my haircut there by Erica, and she does a splendid job! I’ve been going to her for a few years now, and she is an awesome chica.
I was blown away to see what a beautiful job that Erin (the owner) did with the layout and décor of Mesh. It’s bright, spacious and clean — and the stylists all seem to get along great. Nothing like having to watch «Jerseylicious» with my wife.
I don’t even need to wish them luck at Mesh. They are spot on, so they won’t need it.
