I’m a local business owner and have been a Safeguard Distributor for over 30 years. My Dad started this Business in 1974 and it was a very different business back then. We used to specialize in pegboard accounting systems and would receive referrals form Accountants and Bookkeepers because they trusted us to help their small business clients get accounting systems in place, train on the proper usage, and form long term business relationships with their clients. In the greater San Jose area we proudly proclaimed that «one out or two» small businesses in our target market were Safeguard Customers. Well times have changed. Computers, internet, social media. The business model has changed. But we have adapted, and we are still here. Dad long since retired and sold his business to myself and other family members and friends. But we continue on in the Safeguard Tradition of providing «High qualitiy products with the personal service busy people need to run a successful business».
