For a fairly small event that is staffed by volunteers, it’s a great race. Do not expect a huge crowd and a well stocked water station (they hand out water bottles around mile 2), but do expect people to have fun and enjoy the run/​walk. There are a lot of creative costumes. Local kids who jump out on the trail to scare you, other effects… Lots of good fun, and the medal rocks!!! It’s as good as the ones I’ve gotten from more heavily sponsored events but much scarier and it glows in the dark. Definitely worth the run!
