The service is so bad and never take care of your file after they receive money from you. If you want your paper to process faster then you should go to another place. Terrible service and all the receptionists are so rude.

This is an administrative fee !!!
I paid $ 700 for the office of guarantee parents travel to the United States on November 18, 2014, but then I had to cancel on November 20, 2014 due to false information has been given, it is a guarantee for my parents moved to the United States.
I canceled due to I am not an American citizen, It’s cost me $ 250 for an administrative fee, the office staff said. At the same time, I asked, «Where is the policy that force me to pay for it, please tell me?» The staff responsed… but just verbally and then … but … «That’s just our policy.
In my response, I then asked to write down somewhere in order to prove that there is a record for me. Finally, the staff wrote on the invoice # 028 169.
It is clear that in a few days with a printed document from the office and said that this is the kind of charge. It’s incredible.
Finally, for any of you, please request an administrative fee office before you make a deposit or a decision to work.

I had a great experience at RMI! My fiancé (then boyfriend) surprised me with a trip to Cabo for our anniversary. Then, I started to panic because I have never ventured outside of the country before and did not have an updated passport handy. Not to worry because my mom came to the rescue! My mom (who has always been helpful because of her extensive knowledge of the Vietnamese community) suggested that I contact RMI to get an expedited application for a passport. I called RMI and spoke with Kim who was super helpful and friendly. All I had to to was take a passport photo and stopped by the office to complete the application. The process was painless and my passport arrived before I knew it. Off I went to Cabo with my awesome fiancé. Many thanks to Kim at RMI for her assistance!

I have never done a review before, but decided to do one now because I want to share my experience with this place because the customer care I received was exceptional. I came here to file paperwork for my brother who lives in Vietnam wanting to come to the states for school. I’ve heard you could do the paperwork yourself but I had no idea where to start. I saw Kim and she put me at ease, explaining the process to me. I had a million questions and it was difficult for me to make it to their office before closing since I have pretty long work days. Kim (Van) took my calls, sometimes 2 hours after closing! Thought they were great, will be back should I need to file paperwork for my other family members in the future.

If i can give this office 0 star i would. The 5 stars review in a row below are very bullshit. This office gives people nothing but stresses. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE PEOPLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

I agree with the reviewer below about how the bad ratings are from competitors. If you’ve been here before you will know that the staff here are knowledgeable and are good at what they do. There is a reason why they have been in business for over 25 years (with several locations in CA) as opposed to their competitors. If you want to sponsor a loved one and want it done correctly in a timely manner, come here. I would highly recommend them. My family used RMI services to get our family members over here so I have nothing but great things to say about RMI.

Surprised to see the bad reviews of this place. I came in here to get my passport papers done and they were great, explained to me the process and rushed my paperwork so I could go on my trip to Mexico. One thing to watch out for are the drivers in this plaza.

Robert Mullins has been providing immigration help to the Vietnamese community in California for over 25 years. They have a strong reputation through word-​of-​mouth in San Jose, in addition to having an office in southern California. My wife (born in Canada) used their services for some of her paperwork, and they also have provided valuable information about the process to secure a green card and later citizenship, which can be a very confusing process, to say the least. Robert Mullins has a strong community of customers, many of whom I was able to meet at their 25^th anniversary party, to which they invited their previous clients. They are a very professional organization that takes care of their customers, and they also have a Facebook page (

It is so obvious that these bad reviews are generated by the competitors of Robert Mullins International. The company is a staple within the San Jose Vietnamese Community for over 26 years. Robert Mullins International does great immigration work, they do not quit until the job is done unlike other competitors do within their field. If you want your immigration work to be professionally done go to Robert Mullins International, if you want things to be done incomplete and sloppy go with the other competitors.

Horrible place!!!
They charged very high for a case even though what they did was just simply filling out some online forms. They tried to get you in by saying «Now the immigration office is very harsh on green card issue», and by making you scared that if you don’t use their service, your case will fail. They charged me almost $ 2,500 for my case, and I figured out that the other place only did it for $ 500.
The next time I needed to renew my green card, and I called RMI to ask for the price.
The guy told me it would cost $ 750 extra for just helping me filling out one online form!
Then he started to scared me by telling me that many people failed to renew their greencards because they didn’t know the right ways or tricks when submitting their paperwork. I decided to take care of the paperwork on my own; and guess what, it only took me about 15 mins to complete all the forms. I found out that there are many places only charging about $ 100 for the same service.
Don’t ever go to this place if you don’t want to waste a big amount of money. Extremely poor service.
I tell you the truth, most of the people who work here are not knowledgable, they don’t know a lot about the laws. What they know is how to rip you off.

I just found the reviews on Unilocal.I used RMI service a few years ago, the service was bitterly poor. The guy in charge of my paperwork was holding onto my paper for over 2 months without submitting it. It was affecting me delaying my work authorization, and could not work while waiting all that time.
My case was rather simple, but I didn’t have experience, so I found them through other friends’ referral. If I knew it was like this, I could have done it myself.
And they charged a lot for the fees as well.

The front desk lady is so impolite. My mom called to make sure all the paper work sent, but when she asked, the receptionist who answered the phone said with a rude attitude. Last time I went to the office to give my lawyer some paperwork, but the lawyer wasn’t there, then the front desk lady said «Ms. Van is not here, leave the paperwork here» that’s it. I was surprise of the way she talks to customers. it’s suppose to be professional since it’s an American law office.
