RIGID Overhead Door

We had a bent garage door track and called Chad (recommended by my neighbor), who came over rather quickly and fix the problem in the same day free of hassle for me. He’s trustworthy.

I have heard a lot of horror stories so I was worried about having someone come look at my garage door for some repairs. My fears were realized when the first two contractors gave me what appeared to be inflated pricing and were very vague with what work was actually going to be done to fix my door. After those two companies, which will remain nameless, RIGID came by. The tech was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He pointed out what the issues were, let me know exactly what had to be done to fix it and provided me with an extremely competitive quote. He was able to get the necessary materials and have the garage door up and running that evening. I would definitely use RIGID again, but I hope I don’t have to!

It’s not easy finding someone that I trust to work on my home. After a phone call with the sales rep and my inspection with the technician I was willing to move forward with Rigid. I had an old broken door that needed to be replaced. Chad gave me an overview of the process and quoted me a fee that was less than two other bids I had gotten. The install was done in just a few hours. The workmanship was stellar and my new garage door is SUPER quiet, just like I requested.

They gave me a lower price than others and met their quoted price. They were reasonably punctual, showing up 30 minutes before the end of the two hour interval. He completed the job in one hour.
Why not 5 star?
He tried to upsell me for $ 35 bearings that only needed to be greased.
He did not have the right size spring in the truck and used one slightly too strong that was OK, but not perfect. Most people would not notice, but I am a stickler for detail.
I was going to replace the torsion spring on my garage door myself after it broke. I was looking for parts which most people do not want to sell because of the liability. They gave me a low enough price of $ 100 for a single door, I figured it was not worth doing myself, besides it is dangerous. I got other quotes for $ 175.
