As a very nervous dental patient I can’t say enough. about Dr. Baroudi and Dr. Swanson (see Unilocal review for Dr. Swanson). I had an extraction and bone grafting along with a root canal on Feb 4^th. Dr. Baroudi not only put me at ease but the procedures were quick and I have had a fantastic recovery. Dr. Baroudi made me feel comfortable in the chair… always asking if I was doing ok. This dental group has changed my perspective on dentistry and alleviated my fears and many tears… and sleepless nights. The front office even connected with me the next day to see how I was doing. Talk about old school ethics… and so appreciated. 5+ stars… and thank you all for your patience with me!

Dr Rana Baroudi is the epitome of excellence. I’ve know her since she was an roving periodontist in San Francisco. Her skills and bedside manner are exceptional. When she finally got a steady practice in San Jose, there was no doubt in my mind that I’d follow her. No matter the miles I drive to be blessed with her extraordinarily competent and caring service… it’s worth it.

It’s been 24 hours since I got my wisdom tooth and molar removed because of infection my wisdom caused and I honestly feel great!!!
But, my visit started last month by being referred over to Cambrian specialty group and was seen by both dentists and by far they have been the best from the front staff (especially Maria) she answered all my questions regarding cost, some procedures, post care, and scheduling. (Believe me I ask 101 questions, even ordering food) she handled it like a champ.
2^nd, with my first initial visit being help by their dental assistants (which were pleasantly nice)
3^rd, was seen by Dr. Swanson which broke everything down step by step and what needed to be done
4^th, Dr. Baroudi came in and went in depth with what needs to be done and made me feel like I was in good hands.
Dr. Baroudi made yesterday relaxing and quick. The only time consuming part was waiting for my mouth to become numb. I felt little to no pain during to procedure (only pain part was the shots to numb but not as bad as I thought) I really enjoyed and appreciated how she would tell me how far we are with everything. From step 1 to finish.

My wife went to Dr. Baroudi for a consultation regarding the removal of her wisdom teeth.
X-​Rays were taken and the doctor pretty much said that it was too risky to proceed.
However Dr. Baroudi promise to follow-​up with our dentist to define her situation.
We didn’t receive any further info after 1 month, not even a mail or a call, just the bill. We had to go back to our dentist to find out that the follow-​up has never been made!
And, by the way, my wife had her surgery operation perfectly done by an other doctor in less than 50 minutes 2 weeks ago.

This rating is for the receptionist/​scheduler, «Amber» she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly with all my questions. Went out of her way to answer and find out answers to questions she wasn’t 100% sure of.
Turns out my insurance wont cover as high percentage here as another place so I chose to go elsewhere but I definitely appreciate a great first impression and she definitely delivered that.

We are disappointed you felt your consultation with our office was not worthwhile. We encourage any patient dissatisfied with any aspect of our services to contact us directly to discuss a solution.
As is customary with specialty providers, our initial consultation appointment has no time limit and follow-​up consultations are at no charge. We take the time to give our patients an accurate and thorough diagnoses, whether that takes 10 minutes or 2 hours. We answer all questions and arrange for more time, if more is needed. As is customary with a specialty provider, we charge for initial consultations and explain our fee schedule upfront to all of our patients.
You came to our office for an implant consultation, and as with all of our other patients, our consultation fee was clearly explained to you.
We carried out the consultation, gave you a diagnosis, and discussed it with you. We recommended a treatment plan and included a fee schedule for our implant services. If you feel you did not learn more from having a consultation at our office, perhaps it is because, as you stated, you have had numerous other consultations prior to your appointment with our office.
Regardless of the other consultations you had, we stand by our diagnosis, our policies, and the propriety fee you were charged.

Dr Baroudi,
Thank you for your reply.
Let me ask you a few questions regarding your below response.
1. What consultation did you carry out for me that could be of any value for me, the customer? (honestly)
2. What diagnosis did you make on my MISSING tooth?
3. What the discussions that you mention in your response were about?
Also, let me point out that it’s very disrespectful and rude of you to touch upon any of my personal matters such as that I (perhaps) «had numerous other consultations prior to» my visit to our office.
My visit to your office lasted for about 15 min, out of which you talked with me in-​person for no more than 5 – 7 min. Of course, I did not share with you any of my other/​prior health care experience.
You hardly looked at the spot of my missing tooth, no x-​rays taken (as I brought in my recent panoramic x-​rays taken in other dental office.) Your nurse was just sitting on my other side and staring at me through all your «consultation».
There was no consultation. There was an opportunity for you to pitch services that you could possibly render, and I had to pay for that.
I insist that the services that I was given during my visit to your office were inadequate to the charge you made to my account, regardless of any price explanations given to me upfront. And I insist on full refund.
Also, let me point out that the overall tone of your below message implies that you know little about the high standards of customer service that we, customers, can find in other local dental offices, but not in yours.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Baroudi! Not only is she an exceptional Periodontist but she also has a way of making even the most nervous person (me) feel calm, like I wasn’t about to have a tooth pulled :/​Throughout the whole process she made sure I was doing alright and was explaining everything to me. This is hands down, the best experience in a «dentist» office I have ever had. The staff there is also very friendly and helpful along with the nurses. I am going to recommend Dr. Baroudi to everyone I know! So thankful she is my periodontist!

Dr Baroudi is a wonderful dentist. Starting with her office, which is nice and very modern — you walk in and you know you’re getting the latest technology. For a geek like me that’s important! Then everyone on staff, from the assistant to the receptionists are very nice. But best of all is Dr Baroudi herself. She is patient in explaining all the ins and outs of the procedure and all the options.
Going in the chair she was efficient, careful and the results speak for themselves!
I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Baroudi does awesome work and she and her team are amazing. She literally saved my tooth and gum. She will not recommend anything that’s not the right solution. She not only gets to the root (pun intended) of the problem, she keeps you updated in real time on what she sees. She has an amazing chair-​side manner that puts you at ease and is also gentle while working on gums and teeth. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Baroudi — in fact I would say you would be crazy NOT to make an appointment for an evaluation with her if you’re having any periodontics issues. My only regret with seeing Dr. Baroudi is that all of her great work has now gotten to the point where I’m healed up and being referred back to the dentist. Dr. Baroudi is a great person and true professional you’ll wish you could keep going back to.

Just came from seeing Dr. Baroudi for my first deep cleaning. Probably one of my best dental experiences. She is so patient in explaining what’s going on and was very responsive to any discomfort that I was feeling during the procedure. Really made me feel at ease.
