Great opportunity to try lots of different ramen! Look for the giant blue tent. The ramen Yokocho is not inside the convention center it is located on market street. Cash Only!!!(They have an ATM machine inside but you will still need 5.00 cash for entrance fee at least.) We ate– Hide Chan: very good pork broth had thin noodles that absorbed lots of flavor. Kamitoku: beef based ramen broth was spicy and very beefy. The pork cha shu was excellent. The portion size was double of all the other shops. Lots of noodle and bamboo. Definitely a good value. hiromaru: seafood based broth. It was white in color and strangely tastes like clam chowder. Iroha: soy sauce based ramen. Tasted just like top ramen! Strange and not good. order of ratings best to least favorite: Hide Chan, kamitoku, iroha, and hiromaru.

So much more organized and spacious. Lots of tables and seating. Worth the extra 5 bucks for admission! $ 8 per bowl. Cash only. We arrived around 6pm and the lines were not long at all. We got the following: Tatsunoya — Pretty delicious! Not too rich not too salty. Pork was tasty with large pieces of fat. I waited about 10 minutes in this line. Kohmen — Much saltier and fattier broth, but I did like the larger ramen noodles. The bf waited about 5 mins. Only one of the ramen vendors sold out. It was the spicy tonkotsu from Jinya Ramen Bar. We also tried the squid balls from one of the other food vendors. I highly recommend the original flavor!
