PrideStaff is by far the best agency in the bay! After quitting my previous job, I have called Pride staff seeking for employment, ANGIE who is the administration assistant was kind, sweet and very informative! She scheduled me an interview the very next day! First impression of the office was so pretty and decorative! Again MS ANGIE, greeted me with a big smile and made me feel very welcomed! (Plus she is really pretty!) I met up with my recruiter name LANEY, and she is definitely amazing! She asks you questions to get to know you more to assign you to the best employment out there! Not like other agencies they just bs to get your info and never calls you back! I had started work the very next week with better pay and hours. I am grateful to meet LANEY and her staff! Will definitely recommend anyone who is seriously looking for a job and don’t wanna waste time! Come to PrideStaff, they definitely put pride in helping their staffs.

These people are your friends! The staff here are welcoming and so kind, they will help you get started. I been sending out my resumes and got no calls back or anything. I was looking for a normal part/​full time receptionist job and I had background of experience. I talked to ANGIE, sent her my resume and she helped me with the rest. Before long I got temp jobs and interviews. They call you when they have found something for you, it’s nice to have temporary jobs in the time being because it brings a little cash into your pocket. I worked for Levi Stadium, a charter school, and receptionist for a software company. They will definitely find you something and send you out there. They build confidence in you because they believe you can do it.
They will call and also email you to confirm with you the details for the job/​job interview. I would say all the jobs they have found for me was quite entertaining and I enjoyed them all. Even after an interview, they will want to hear how it went and they will receive feedback from the companies or places that you have interviewed for. I did not score a receptionist job for one of the companies they sent me out for an interview to. The reason was that I shouldn’t be too honest during the interview and should maybe not mention some things. I guess I got a bit carried away and talked about dead people. Lesson learned, don’t scare your potential future company.
Seriously, because of them I have a job right now. If things don’t work out well, let them know. They’re always there to help you. I really appreciate them for everything they have done for me.

PrideStaff was not much help to me. I flew to San Jose with the sole purpose of meeting the recruiting staff, who basically promised me an accounting position with a local construction company. The job requisition ended up closing, or so PrideStaff told me. Whenever I called to inquire about other positions, the staff would recommend jobs paying much less than I told them I could afford to earn. I ended up finding a job on my own after moving to California.

I came to PrideStaff hoping that they could help me with the career change I had desperately needed. I come from a long history of retail sales and food service, but that wasn’t what i saw myself doing forever.
I called their office and talked to JESSICA. She was super friendly and told me the steps to get started with working with PrideStaff. She also asked about my work history and what i was looking to do in the future (i wanted to move over to a more professional setting, doing clerical/​data entry type work with a consistent schedule; something unheard of in retail and nightlife) coincidentally she was familiar with the bar i used to work at so we chatted for a bit about it. It was nice to finally talk to someone who seemed like they would give me a chance to try something new in this incredibly hard job market where «trusting someone to be a fast learner» is definitely not something that happens… Like ever.
I completed my application and called back to let JESSICA know and she told me they would review my application soon. A couple days later i get a call to schedule an interview with LANEY. A couple hours after that call they called me again and asked if i was interested in doing a one day 8 hour assignment helping out a security team at an event and of course i said yes! I was ecstatic because i literally hadn’t worked in months and alluva sudden this opportunity happens and it didn’t pay badly either. They work fast! Lol
When i went to the PrideStaff office for the first time for my interview, I was not expecting what i saw. The place was all decorated for Halloween (Super cute and festive!) and the ladies all said hello to me when i got there. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, not all stuffy and uptight like i thought an office would be (i hadnt been to many offices… Haha) During my interview with Laney we discussed my work history, what i wanted to do now, and how skills from my past positions could translate over to a different career. She was incredibly friendly and honest with me about the pay range she projected considering my skill level in an office (zero… Lol). After that MARISSA came in to orientate me/​do hire paperwork since i had signed on for the one day assignment.
The next day i get a call from LANEY and she had good and bad news. The bad news was that i was no longer needed for the event, so i was a little bummed since i had been so excited :(. The good news made up for it AAALLLL though. They found me a position, full time, Monday through Friday, just like i’ve always wanted! As of yesterday, i have completed my first two weeks and received my first paycheck :) and i couldn’t be happier!
Thank you LANEY, MARISSA, JESSICA, CYNTHIA and LINDA for taking a chance and giving me this amazing opportunity. Im learning so much every day and loving it so far!

This is a staffing agency that is based in San Jose, Ca. They help place job seekers into a well acclimated career field based on a your resume and experience. My partner went through the agency to find a job. It took the agency over a year to reach out to him after the initial inquiry. He was then told to come in for interview to asses his skills and needs. After a while, he was told they they found a temporary to permanent position at an apartment complex. The position apparently was a full time janitorial position with a schedule from 9 – 5. Sounded perfect. Pridestff only gave him one day notice and he as told to show up at the job site the next day. Once he showed up, the apartment manager said the position had been filled and that there should have been a better line of communication between the agency and him. The apartment manager apologized but there was nothing he could do. This whole thing was very unfortunate and traumatic. Because of PrideStaffs promise of guaranteed placement, my boyfriend turned down another job that conflicted with this. I would not recommend this agency for job seekers. They are unreliable and inefficient.

When I first came in I was greeted with a warm welcome from all the ladies there, which lay the foundation of my experience at PrideStaff. They had me go through an interview, and while it didn’t exactly go as planned, my interviewer (and future rep) Anh-​Thu gave me excellent advice and a couple days later I was offered work. While none of the jobs were direct hire, I was given plenty of temp jobs that fit my career path and allowed me to eventually land a job with one of the companies I had worked at. These ladies (Anh-​Thu is the best! But I’m biased.) work hard to find jobs that match your preferences, and do an excellent job of it.

I have been working with PrideStaff for some months now and it has been a good experience. They are a friendly and professional staffing agency, and i have recommended them to many of my out-​of-​work friends. I was unemployed for less than a month, and my recruiter (shout-​out to Cynthia) worked hard to find me a postion that not only fit into my schedule but fit my skills and personality well. I have worked with a few agencies, and PrideStaff ranks among my top favorites and I highly recommend checking them out if you are seeking employment.

I would HIGHLY recommend this company for anyone out there stuck in the rut of the Big Boy Recruiting Agencies… Ahn Thu has been amazing with her responses and getting me out there and working. Her ability to match me with just the right employer was fascinating. She picked up on many things during our interview which in turn landed me in the right spot. This is the sign of a GREAT recruiter. Ahn Thu is always cheerful and encouraging. I enjoy chatting with her and giving her the updates. I have been thoroughly satisfied with PrideStaff and the people there. Thank you for a job well done.

I have worked with Pridestaff for the past 2 and a half years and it has been a wonderful experience. The whole staff has been great with finding me work with little to no gaps in between. I definitely appreciate the effort they make to find positions that I can handle well so that I feel confident going into a new assignment. I have recommended Pridestaff to my friends. This is a great group!

Laney Donahue is not the person to work with. Very unprofessional. She states she has jobs but when I contact her, no follow up. She wants people to come in only. TRUE SALESWOMAN

Very friendly staff. I am moving to San Jose at the end of the month and put in my information and resume with this location. Friends of mine have used Pridestaff in other cities and told me they were good so I figured I would give it a try. I will update this review if I get a chance to use their services. Dealt with them over the phone so far and they seem to be a very professional and helpful business. I don’t understand the low ratings, these people are trying to help you find jobs. They guarantee nothing but that they will try to help you find a position.
@Devin P – I think you have the wrong place. They are not bankrupt. I asked an employee and she said that was another location.

No follow up at all.
My contact/​rep left a month and half after I came in and filled in all the paperwork. I tried contacting a few times and didn’t receive a response. Place looked like a low budget closet anyway.
I give it two thumbs up if you are looking to waste your time!

I consider myself pretty marketable. Good experience with reputable companies etc. Met with a recruiter almost a year ago. Did nothing for me. I ended up finding a job on my own. Now, a year later, I placed a call to this office yesterday. The original recruiter that I had worked with in the past was no longer there. I had to say many times that I am already registered in the system b4 the receptionist bothered to check. And, sure enough, there I was! Recruiter I was assigned to never called back. Called again today, receptionist had to take my name twice, seemed disorganized. Again, «yes, I am in the system.» Fed up with the lack of professionalism, I told the receptionist that I am going to seek another recruiting agency.

A representative from this company came into my office, to let me know that they provide temp admin workers and also do engineering recruiting. Since I work with engineers, I asked her to tell me more about how they do their recruiting, do they have companies sign exclusive contracts, or do they provide free resumes, and we only pay if we choose to hire one of their referrals. I would think that this is a rather basic question, but she didn’t know the answer. She seemed to actually know very little about staffing, engineering or her company in general. I did give her my card, and she called me several weeks later, and started on the same spiel that she rolled out when she came in. I reminded her that we had already met, and she then remembered me. overall, they seem rather unprofessional, based on my experience with this one individual.

I worked with this firm back in October. About two weeks in, my recruiter, one of two technical recruiters, told me he was about to leave. I was a little worried, because I felt that the recruiter wouldn’t be able to work for me with one foot out the door. It wasn’t too bad because the other technical recruiter had more experience. Then, a few weeks later, the other tech recruiter told me he was leaving. Yikes. For several weeks, there was no technical recruiter. Then, they hired a new guy. Less than two months later, he was gone!
How could any company or candidate in his or her right mind work with a company that can’t even keep its own employees?
